Since everyone is so friendly and positive, it's a really great environment to be in, which makes physical therapy fun and enjoyable. The patients all feel like friends. Balance currently has 4 DPT (doctor of physical therapy) and 5 PTA (physical therapy assistant). They are all great and work together as a team. Because they have so many physical therapists (and constantly hiring), they can see a patient multiple times a week. They see all ages of patients. I finished my course of PT with Dr. Aguilar over a year ago now & I can't express enough what a difference his care made in my quality of life as a young person with chronic pain. I was initially referred to him by my rheumatologist -- he listened & took my concerns seriously, using a combination of exercises, stretching, dry needling, massage, heat, etc. to help improve strength & mobility in a low impact way. Don't pass on the dry needling!! Game changer. I'll definitely be back for any of my future PT needs.

Horrible dishonest billing practices…read more They have sent me notices, bills, and collections letters for appointments from more than 2 years ago. When I contacted them, they had not even run the bill through my insurance company they verified on the phone that they had on file, some of the appointments that they were trying to bill me for I did not even make. They are just trying to take your money. They have (had) good therapists, but the billing department is dishonest and will wait years to bill you for stuff you can barely remember. Be careful with them, do not trust them, and track everything you do with them so you don't end up with crappy collection letters and call years after the fact.

Knee injury? here are the set of exercises other PT groups will prescribe not targeting the exercises to how you are doing and your specific weaknesses. At Elite they treat each person like an individual and tailor your treatment to how you are responding and they always ask what is aggravating you on that particular day. Often you may come on with a specific pain like your back and they will recognize that it's actually your hip that is causing your back pain and you leave feeling better. They all work as a team so if you are with Anna one day and the next time Jeff you aren't starting over because their care overlaps and the communication between them has occurred before you even get there. I can't say enough, how impressed I have been with their knowledge base and caring for each patients recovery and success. I noticed the review from Dawn and she can't be more off base and I'm sorry she gave them a low star review because they literally have helped me get my life back after numerous surgeries. It is always a positive, pleasant place to go where everyone knows who you are and acknowledges you immediately. One of the reasons I chose them was they are privately owned so you don't become a number in the corporate machine mentality where they don't really care about your recovery or get to know who you are. You can't go wrong with Elite Sports Medicine and physical therapy. I would like to stop needing them but as long as I do I'm glad I have them as part of my care team.
