We were told all we needed was a gas line run and a general contractor to build the wall. That wasn't accurate. The information provided was incomplete. It listed wall-support dimensions but left out critical electrical requirements and details about the non-combustible materials needed for the surround. Because of these omissions, we had unexpected extra costs for an electrician and additional materials that should have been disclosed from the start. We were also not informed that Delaware regulations prevent installers from connecting a new gas line--something they clearly knew ahead of time but didn't mention at the time of sale. This caused another unnecessary expense. What made the situation even worse was the response when we called after the installation to express our frustrations. They were flippant and dismissive, especially when it was suggested to create a checklist to help future customers avoid the same issues. If you're considering buying from them, insist on a detailed walkthrough of the entire installation process before committing--exhaust planning, electrical needs, non-combustible material requirements, and any state-specific regulations. The lack of clear communication made this more stressful and costly than it should have been.

This is a second home so the next time we came down and opened the door you could really smell the gas leak! I bought a gas detector at Home Depot and found the gas coupling at the feed valve was leaking. This was on a weekend but I needed to get this fixed for my family's sake. I gently tightened the coupling the rest of the way after finding it loose by about a 1/4 turn. Retested and the leak was gone. Dunno perhaps they were in a rush to get to another job but darn - that was kinda dangerous.

Had a tree fall in my yard. Needed it cut firewood size. Whatever! I can't lift any of these…read morelogs! I asked if I was going to be able to lift any of that wood. "Well its fireplace size. You can roll it". I have terrible arthritis and my mom is almost 80! We're not rolling anything! These guys came, didn't announce that they were here, just went to work, but they sure announced themselves when it came time to get paid! Didn't even give an invoice for the work. Called their boss on the phone and told him. " Well I didn't know you needed one. Why do you need one anyway if your insurance already paid you?". Well, I still need an invoice to give to the insurance company anyway! I wouldn't recommend these guys ever! Upon further inspection, the workers drove their large work truck on my already damaged lawn and put large ruts in it with their tires. The wood they cut up is fireplace sized... If my fireplace was as big as my kitchen (and I have a very large kitchen!). There is NO moving these logs. I don't even know someone who could heft them! These people are INCOMPETENT!

We had a friendly Labrador, and although we brought her in when they came to refill the tank, they always made sure the chain link gate they used was closed when they left so Lacey could go out without us having to make sure her 'escape route' was in tact. This job was quite a challenge as it is a very old beach cottage. They gave honest advice and proposed a Fujitsu system with 5 units inside the house. They had challenges in getting this system installed, including going under a wet house to run the coolant lines to the opposite side of the house from the main outside unit. They did this job with great care (because of the old exterior), knowledge of the system, and professionalism of the installation. It is beautiful and has provided an extension of our season from early in the spring through to late fall. We are extremely happy. We thank them for their dedicated professionalism.
