Our Sunset Tour was one of the favorite things we did while on the Cape. The history of both the…read moredunes themselves and the cabins used by writers, artists, and others were quite interesting, and our guide (whose name, sadly, this old brain cannot recall) did a fantastic job during the tour of highlighting the historic and scientific aspects of what we were seeing. We ended up watching a beautiful sunset on the beach, enjoying the beverages we brought along. Personally, I'd recommend doing the Suburbans over the Broncos. We were originally disappointed when we realized we had reserved the former, but having done the trip, I'm not seeing the value of paying so much more for basically the same tour. Definitely recommend!

Because you can't book online or via email, I called the number on the website and pretty soon got a call back from Jim. We got to pick our tour time and we were the only ones on the tour, so the price was even more of a steal. My wife and I did this a day after taking the Mayflower trolley bus tour and this was a great follow-up because it went into more detail on the history topics discussed on that tour, as well as going into topics that tour didn't even touch. Plus he showed us some architectural gems we would have never found on our own.

My stay at Truro Beach Cottages was pretty good. I stayed in a small cabin close to the beach, so I…read morehad access to the water for early morning walks. My family enjoyed the small community-based cottages with our friends. There were even beach chairs and umbrellas provided for every cottage. There is also a kitchen with a stove and fridge provided next to the living room area. The cottages are small, and you would have to make your own bed. If you need anything like toilet paper, towels, or extra blankets, you should call the main number and they would provide what you need in a speedy amount of time. The only downsides that I can think of regarding the stay included that the beds weren't too comfortable, there weren't enough trash bins, and nowhere to put all of the dirty towels. Checkout also included dropping off your trash at an unknown location and doing a sweep of the houses. Check-in was not cheap so I don't understand why it is that we have to clean the house that we're staying in too. It's a nice place to stay so I recommend it, but definitely keep all of these things in mind.

Jeffrey, the host, greeted us warmly and we instantly felt at home. Entering the Inn, we were impressed by its intimate charm. The place is meticulously up kept and has been beautifully renovated. Jeffrey goes to great lengths to make your stay pleasant. In the evenings there is complimentary wine (again a welcome site after a day of biking) and in the morning Jeffrey makes the most wonderful breakfast- home baked delicacies, fruit, juice, yogurt. It's beyond the normal continental breakfast. The Inn is perfectly located. One block of the main drag. Close enough to it all but with a little bit of distance so that at the end of the night, you feel like you are off to your own private retreat away from the craziness of Ptown. Our room was absolutely perfect. Everything was so well considered- from the furniture, to the colors and the amenities. The space was flooded with soft daylight diffused by the trees outside the window. The bathroom was spotless, also had a window, and although it was small it was totally sufficient. Jeffrey is a wonderful host. He will give you great advice about ptown and point you to the best beaches and food spots. Every guest in the place seemed to love him, not to our surprise. We can't wait to go back, we feel like this is our little place in ptown!

The sailboat: It's a snug 19 ft boat…read more The experience: We didn't have much wind, but we had so much fun! We did sightseeing, body surfing and got some beach time too. My husband got to learn a little bit about sailing when helping Gary. Make sure to bring sun screen. The trip is about 3 hours long.
