We've always seen the big Chevy Suburbans near commercial street with partially deflated tires and wondered about the tours but never pulled the trigger, so glad we did! Our tour guide was awesome full of knowledge and facts about Provincetown, the dunes, the beach shacks on the dunes, and the flora & fauna of the landscape. He fearlessly drove us up hills of sand and took cool pictures of our group of 5 at pretty picturesque points. I'd highly recommend it was well worth the time and money.

There was no expectation to even see any whales, because I know there are never guarantees with nature.. But it was a very special trip with our children and our neighbor from California who recently lost his spouse. I called after 10 AM when I saw there was a 1 PM opening for a private charter, Chad immediately called me back and even though it took me quite a while to rally the troops, he held this spot for us. He definitely went over and above. Then Captain Jesse I told him I'd write a Cell was the icing on the cake by his kindness, knowledge, excitement, and so much more. Oh, and by the way, we saw at least a dozen different whales. There was tail slapping breaching spy, hopping.... And since we were in a small boat, we were able to zip around to see everything. It is well worth the money to do this. Big boats are fine, but this was something that will be embedded in our hearts forever.

We had a great time on the Provincetown Ghost Tour. It was a fun way to learn more about one of our…read morefavorite places and some creepy facts on its extensive history. It was a great mix of historical facts along side ghost stories. The hour was just about 1.5 hours starting on Commercial Street and was just about a mile long. There are plenty of stops in between the walking intervals. Glow sticks bracelets are provided as well as flashlights to enhance the experience. Photos are encouraged along the tour! Remember to tip your guide! ;-)

She was able to accommodate us at the very last minute to make Emily's GHASTLY birthday dreams come true! Angela was an amazing story teller. She presented the history of Provincetown and it's SORDID past in a way that was engaging and enthusiastic. She was clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about her CRAFT. Our highlight of the night had to be the cemetery where we got to explore on our own and even peak through the windows of HAUNTED mausoleums. It was the perfect balance of history and GHOSTS. 10 out of 10 DYING to return!

She was incredibly knowledgeable, full of energy, and genuinely passionate about whales and nature. You could tell this is more than just a job for her. She even had a whale tattoo on her leg, which made her love for these incredible animals even more authentic. We learned so much from her, and it was refreshing to have a guide so excited to share her knowledge. She kept pointing out the whales as they surfaced, and her timing was perfect, just when you thought the action had moved on, she would spot another humpback breaching or lifting its tail before diving back down. If you can, try to get on one of Sophie's tours. I've been on whale watching tours before, but I have never seen anything like this. Our four kids were beyond excited as we saw what felt like 40 to 60 humpback whales. The boat ride itself was fantastic, with the salty spray in the air and everyone crowding the rails every time a whale came up close. It was one of the most incredible wildlife experiences we have ever had. At first, I thought the tour was a little pricey, but as my son said, "Dad, this was worth every dollar. You should have paid more." He was right. We happily tipped Sophie and the crew on our way out because they absolutely earned it. If you are visiting Provincetown, do not miss this experience. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would recommend it to anyone.

In the middle of the journey I felt vile, which my former love requested for assistance of a brown paper bag in return he got two asprins, a glass of Ginger Ale and four pieces of saltine crackers (all FREE)... now that is called excellent customer service. Amazingly there are still kind people in this world. I love Nabisco Saltine Crackers as it reminsce my sick days in my youth absent from school! There's a lot of interesting and good information, and I liked the people. But.... The first half of the tour is in an old mini bus. The bus has tiny windows, like 4" square, and no air circulation. No fans. No air conditioning. Today was nearly 90 out by 10 am, when our tour started, and temperatures inside the bus got so hot that stepping out felt cool! You don't travel far, and then they stop for 10 minutes to talk about what's out the window. It's brutal. Ironically, the travel distances are so slim most people could walk it. But, just sitting on the bus in the heat? Yuck. The second half is in an old shed where you learn about harvesting. Again, it could be interesting, but it's a good 10° hotter, even with the fans going, and it makes it hard to focus. Or even listen. Better weather would have helped. But, we had an old lady in our tour group nearly pass out, and the guide indicated that that was not uncommon. Heck, complimentary water would be nice. Waters are a dollar. The tour is fifteen. It's all cash only.
