Been a customer here for about 8 years and just now getting around to post this review. All in all, every server we've ever had has been amazing. We always sit at the bar and gamble the entire time - average 5 hrs at a time. We have hit countless jackpots ranging from 1k -14.5k. We've never had to pay for drinks and food is always comped. The food in there is amazing. The pizza looks off but it tastes delicious. The wings are always crispy and my favorite are the Philly cheesesteak rolls. Special shout out to Chris, Janee, and Justin, and Karen for always being a vibe and making our visits special. We definitely feel like family every time we are there. Special shoutout to OC for always taking care of us and always honoring our legit status and making sure his customers are always safe. I've personally witnessed countless customers come in and get impatient and disrespectful with the staff, play $20 at .25cents a hand and expect free drinks, and getting overly rude because they had to wait 5 minutes in a full bar with just one server. The servers are always respectful and have greeted every single customer when they walk in door. This is our go to spot about 3 times a week. Not a good spot to catch a game. Have been to other PT's and had a good experience but ended up leaving this one shortly after arriving. Asked to have the TV switched to the Knights game twice, there was music playing so there would not have been audio anyway. The whole vibe was weird. One of the bartenders gave off the impression he would rather be literally anywhere. The female waitres was very nice, that is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. Additionally, the menu here is a lot smaller than other PT locations, I am not sure if that has something to do with the different names. Maybe certain ones like PT's ranch has a different menu? Last night we went to PTs. Walked in and was not greeted/ acknowledged. No biggie, bartender seemed busy as he had about 10-12 different people sitting around the bar and you could tell he was trying to get to everyone. We sat near the bar at one of the booths. To the side of us we could see another couple who looked like they had been waiting but had yet to also be helped. We waited for about 15 minutes before leaving. No one ever came. Just a quick review of a short visit. Came in to get some take out and play a little keno while we waited. Bartender was prompt in greeting us and friendly. Ordered a couple N/A bevs and then some wings with fries and some pretzel bites to go. We got our food and headed home. We live 4 mins from there. We got home and opened our food and all was there and correct. I get my sauce on the side because I like crispy wings and prefer to dip. Wings were crispy as asked and pretzel bites were a good portion with the cheese sauce! Only issue is that, if you don't eat the pretzel bites quick, they get hard as a rock. Makes me think a microwave was involved in cooking them. But still good when hot and soft! read more

The women bartenders are horrible Don't let your husbands go there alone they set up dating apps on your husband cell phones for them. They help them cheat. They are horrible people. I understand they want their tips, but there's no reason for women to help men cheat on other women. I couldn't recommended this place any less. A group of 4 of us walked in on a fairly busy night and sat ourselves at a table since the bar was full. Our waitress stopped for drink orders and then again for food. She did not ID (for reference I'm only 22).We started off with the nachos and cheese. After ordering them, we told our waitress we were ready to order our meals, but she just walked away without responding. The nachos were brought out quickly. Velveeta-type cheese in a bowl with multicolored chips. 3/10. She didn't give us any chance to order, AGAIN, so I had to flag her down. Finally we ordered. My husband the Pub Special burger with sweet potato fries, myself boneless buffalo wings, and the rest a quesadilla and pep pizza. The pizza came out looking like the Chuck E Cheese type. The quesadilla looked decent. The sweet potato fries were gritty, drowning in salt. The waitress put in my order as bone-in wings, so I had to wait until the table was 75% finished to receive my food. Beers were okay, full bar. Over $100 on machines and no wins. Breanna was the best server ever! Last night, I had the pleasure of being served by an absolute gem of a server. From the moment I sat down, her energy was infectious, warm, welcoming, and effortlessly cool She was so attentive, so genuine, and made our expericence so fun and personal! What really stood out, though, was how she handled everything at once even with a packed house, she kept the vibe smooth and the drinks flowing without missing a beat. She knew the menu inside out, tossed out spot-on recommendations, and even threw in a quick story about the tequila I ordered that had me grinning. So I gave this place two chances. First time I met a friend and had a rather hostile welcoming by the bartender Genay, I asked for a double vodka and cranberry, and I got a tall cup of cranberry juice, not even a hint of vodka, so whatever we left. I come back two days later to meet the same friend, we start playing pool and i selected some music off of the jukebox, at which point the same hostile little girl Genay, comes into the pool room and literally says "after this song no more metal please" like what? Two questions immediately popped into my head, first why put songs in the jukebox you don't want played? Secondly, did she not remember she's in the service industry? Lol, the ignorance was mind blowing. So I go to the bar and tell her I put $7 in the jukebox, only two songs were allowed to play and asked for my $5 back or $5 off the tab. At which point, not to anyone's surprise, Genay immediately got hostile and loud. I took my beer and walked back to the pool room, roughly 5 mins later she comes in with two other bar patrons and asks me to leave, threatens me with the cops, putting the other bar patrons at risk of getting hurt or injured, because honestly I'm not the one. if I had less composure a scene would have been caused. Both experiences were completely unprofessional, unnecessary, uncalled for, and downright rude. Genay shouldn't be in the service industry if she believes the customer is supposed to serve her. She has the skill set better suited for a security guard. Highly disappointed, I went to bourbon street which was a much better experience. My experience at PTs was as disgusting as the attitudes and ignorance flowing around the building. read more

We came in with a large party that we had arranged with them already. We were ready to spend money, eat and have a great time. Our waitress, Dakota was awesome and really worked hard, but the bartender was an a$$hole. To be fair we were loud, playing games and having fun but it is a bar. If we wanted a quiet party we would have taken it to a church. One of the games involved other patrons who were fine participating, but the bartender yelled at us that we were affecting his business and his players. We didn't mean any harm, we were trying to have fun and if anything a party of 25 people brought in business no? At one point one of the ladies went and asked if I he has any blended drinks to which he replied "this isn't fucking Applebees." Then another person went and asked for a round of lemon drop shots...he said "that's a pussy's drink." All in all we made our own fun, but he really made us feel unwelcome and we finally paid the tab and left. It sucks because we were looking for a great happy hour place to start coming every week, but this definitely will not be it. Orrrr, as you may be doing now, you will search on yelp before wondering into the bar as hubs and I did! To the juicy, shall we? At about 1 am the parking lot was slightly full and that was the first sign that we steered (pun) in the right direction! We rang the buzzer..entered...and sat ourselves! The music was nice and the patrons were yappin and smackin! We knew we wanted a burger and buffalo fingers... not wings! The fingers were straight up delish!!! The meat tender, not stringy. The breading was thin, not the usual that I peel off to maintain an edible balance! The sauce, though it wasn't what I expected in appearance.. that sauce was FINGER LICKIN GOOD!! The burger was good also, but nothing stood up next to the chicken fingers! Now for the star deducting factor.. my bill for the burger and fingers was a shocking $33 that's really pricey especially to not have ordered drinks nor dranks (alcoholic drinks ;) ) with that said I'll be sure to triple check my menu, receipt, and pockets before returning! read more

A friend and I wanted to meet up for drinks, play some pool, just catch up. Stopped in tonight (Friday) at 6 pm. Bartender was fast to take our drink order and we asked if we could play some pool. She was nice enough to get that for us and since our hands were full, she even brought the balls to the table. Sandra, another bartender, served us the rest of our time. She was super friendly and upbeat. I ordered some food to go and she was accommodating to my requests. Also met another worker named Ryan who was quick to help us, clear our area, and nice enough to bring the pool balls back to the bar for us when we were done. Amazing team job especially for them having the nice crowd that they did have tonight. Not sure what time the happy hour was but they did let us know it when it was about to end so we could grab one more drink. The only suggesting I would make is having the music a little less loud. It was a little hard to hear but they did lower the volume a bit when we asked so that was nice of them. All in all a great time out even if it was for an hour or so. read more

Went in for the first time today 4/8/2023 and the bartender a chubbier girl with blonde and brown hair charged me for 3 drinks after I spent 300 dollars on a machine . I have never been charged for drinks , when I go in any bar, especially when I'm gambling. the door said Leah , is the GM. Hey Leah , ya may wanna get bartenders that know what they are doing. To be honest , she had no personality and was quite rude. She did give a lot of attention to a make player who I learned is her boyfriend. Horrible . First time in today. Just moved up here and looking for a local spot to hang out and eat after work. Me and my boyfriend came in after the gym just now. We were ignored for 5 minutes when we came in while the bartender was on the phone. We sat down and both put $20 in a machine and ordered beers. Stayed for an hour. Drank 3 beers each and ate wings. (Both of our wing orders came out naked when we ordered flavors but bartender brought out sauces) He lost his $20 pretty quick but I played mine out for the entire hour. When it was time to leave we were charged for every beer. I've never been to a PTs that charges for every beer while gambling. This PT's location is quite popular with my previous co-workers, and I've been here a few times to attend late-night going away parties. Located off Centennial and Losee, PT's Gold is a solid local's bar. The bar is updated and always has plenty of seating. It's never smoky in here and the people that come here are the relaxed, quiet variety. My get-togethers here usually are timed perfectly to coincide with PT's Late Night Happy Hour, which runs everyday 12AM - 2AM with half-off drinks and select $5 appetizers. I've never had the food here, just beer! On my recent visit I enjoyed a humongous draft of Heineken for only $4 (HH)! Service is great here, even with a large group of people. I was introduced to my first PT's experience by friends quite recently. Since I don't drink alcoholic beverages, I cared only about the food. And my experience was mixed. I opened with a Fry Bucket of very good Beef Chili drenched in Cheese Sauce with Twister Fries, along with Port Stickers. The Pot Stickers were pan-fried Pork Pot Stickers on a bed of Asian Slaw. Both were very good starters. But the appetizers were originally delivered with no silverware, plates, or napkins, and one water short. I counted 10 televisions in one dining room, but all were silent. Alas, for the next round of eating, something was lost in translation concerning my ordered entree. Instead of initially receiving Pastrami Reuben Sliders, I was presented with a Reuben Sandwich. Since the latter sammie was prepared on Marbled Rye Bread, which I do not at all like, I elected to send it back to have my original order honored. Eventually the sliders arrived, sporting mostly lean pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss Cheese, and Thousand Island Dressing, along with a side of Onion Rings that were mostly batter. The sliders were tasty and each bun had a nice soft split top. The Fry Bucket was almost a meal itself, and I discovered that good comfort food is served here. read more

This is the one of the closest bars near me and is a favorite because of the pool table. The food is pretty good but the only downside I face is the turnover wait of food and the friendliness of the women who wait my tables. I do understand that it's late but I don't want to feel like a burden just because I'm ordering food and thus may need a little more than a drink order. The sex on the beach I ordered was amazing and the wrap was way better than I thought. I know I'll be back to this bar, just hoping next time I do not have to wait as long for food and that it's a good experience. read more

Service isn't bad but it's not great either. I'm generally the DD, so I don't usually drink and order a water, maybe some food. We stopped in around 930 PM on a Wednesday and it wasn't super busy but just enough to keep the lone bartender and server steadily moving. JD ordered a small summer shandy and some wings with curly fries. I just had a water with lemon and decided I didn't feel like eating much. This seemed to slightly annoy the bartender. The food took about 15-20 minutes to come out with the wrong type of fries, but the bartender realized this after a moment without anyone mentioning it and curly fries were brought out a few minutes after. The wings looked good! Decent in size and nicely sauced. Fries didn't seem soggy. No complaints from JD. A little 4 card keno while we waited and watched whatever was playing on their TV's. We were in there for maybe an hour. It's not a bad spot to unwind. I just can't stand how it wreaks of cigarettes and that I do after coming here too. The ventilation needs an upgrade. read more

On Monday April, 18th at 6p.m I arrived to have a few beers and some food at PT's. I ordered a beer and asked for a food menu. The bartender informed me that there was not a cook in. So I decided to enjoy a second beer and pay my tab. Not even 2 second after paying my tab I was rudely asked to move because I was not playing the machine in front of me. 90% of the bar seats have machine and I was one out 5 people at the bar. Meaning the bar was dead. This all happened because one regular wanted my machine out of 20 at the bar and she was bouncing between three machines and then wanted mine on the other side of the bar. The bartender did not even ask me nicely to move. He instead treated me like a peasant after tiping the man 40%. read more

I was in this part of town with an hour to kill and stopped in for lunch. The bartender was great (I don't remember his name), but everything else kinda sucked. The air conditioning was so high that even the foul mouthed construction workers dressed in layers moved twice. I ordered a chicken wrap and specifically asked for NO LETTUCE due to a medical condition. After waiting 25 minutes it finally arrived LOADED WITH COLESLAW! I asked the bartender to send it back and to box it to go because the hour was almost up. When he returned he said that the cook advised him that the coleslaw was cabbage, not lettuce! When I got home and opened the box, the $15 wrap was obviously the same one served to me the first time, only with the coleslaw scraped off!! This was not my first disappointment at a PT's Gold, but it will definitely be my last!! read more
