I love coming here. The staff is really nice. On my recent visit, I was getting my free birthday pazooki. I love their wedge salad. It is not incredibly huge; it is just right. Everything smelled wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised that the daily specials and happy hour appetizers were so inexpensive and there were many options to choose from. Ate here for the first time with my wife and it was such a pleasant experience. The manager Mathew gave us a warm welcome as we walked in and recommended the pizza. This is actually the second time we came here. We came here on the 1st of January. And we wanted to come back because our first time was pretty amazing. We initially found out about the Pizza, my wife tried it through a coworker and it was good. The first trip we tried other dishes. She tried the shrimp scampi and i tried the tri tip and Rib combo. We also got the Ahi Salad. The Ahi Salad was so good. It was the perfect dressing to complement the textures and the flavors. And the ahi was pretty fresh. One of the best Ahi i've tried in Las Vegas. The tri tip was cooked perfectly as ordered, medium rare. It could have used some salt, but I know sometimes they cook it like that so they don't ruin it for someone who wants more or less salt. The ribs were very tender. the meat came off the bone easily. And the flavor wasn't too bold. Sometimes when there's smoked ribs, some places will make the flavor too strong. But not here. My wife loved the shrimp scampi. The pasta wasn't runny or too thick. And that brought us to our second visit. On our recent visit that is when we got the pizza. And the thin crust is so easy to eat. And it doesn't fill you up right away. The deep dish, I would say is great to get if you don't have too much other food ordered. the crust is pretty thick, loaded with flavor, just enough crisp and not a lot of grease which is a plus. I only had a hard time eating it because I already had wings, salad and crispy calamari. The bone in wings had a hint of strong flavor but the dipping sauce more than made up for it. I got the honey bbq flavor and my wife ordered a more spicy flavor. we got the crispy calamari both times because it's so good, and so light. It's not a burnt kind of crispy. it's a nice even crisp all around. and the inside isn't chewy. it comes with two different dipping sauces and each delivers a different experience in the bite, and are both equally good. All the dishes we tried so far, I recommend. And then the finale. The Pizookie from what i understand is signature. But I decided to get the Dubai Pizookie. It's two scoops vanilla ice cream covered in Ghirardelli chocolate and sprinkled with some light gold flakes. All of that mounted on their fresh baked cookie. The flavor meshes well so long as you have each element in your bite. The cookie on the bottom was crisp on the edges and still soft and warm inside, leaving an amazing after taste and the sensation of blended warm and cold that makes you want to bite more. There is a sports bar inside, but that didn't ruin the atmosphere. the Staff is very friendly and work fast to help you with what you ask for. We will definitely come back here again. A great place to start off the year and start my year of reviewing more restaurants. read more

Yesterday between 2:30-3:00 my fiancée and I decided to stop here for a late lunch. I was a little hesitant because the food was always average. It was a little empty around this time. We were sat down by the hostess and a few minutes later our waitress came by. She asked how our day was going and my fiancée is a little soft spoken, he responded for us saying it was going good. She must have not heard him because she loudly asked "What?". That was a little rude. Okay. He repeated himself and I smiled embarrassingly. She looked at me and asked what I wanted to drink. I responded with a water with lemon. She nodded and walked away. She never once asked what my partner wanted to drink or even go the length of acknowledging him or looking in his direction. We shrugged it off and when she came back with two waters my fiancée spoke up and said that was not what he ordered. Mind you, he never asked for water, only I did. Instead of apologizing for the mistake or asking him what he would like instead, she just grabbed his water and walked away! How rude! At this point my fiancée was upset and was ready to go. An important note- we have never ever walked out of a restaurant before due to a lack of service. This was our first time ever walking out of BJ's. We notified the hostess of our poor experience and I explained in detail what happened. She offered to grab a manager or to do a waitress change and my fiancée refused. What would be the point? It's not like we wanted to eat there anymore. A key thing to know is our waitress never once told us her name or introduced herself- or even said as much of a "hello." Important note to the waitress we had. I understand working in the food industry is hard because I was there. But just because your day might be going bad doesn't mean you should take it out on people. My partner was working outside in 115 degree heat all day, still in his work uniform. You never know what people are going through and for you to be so obviously rude to him and never once apologize or take accountability is disheartening. You should not be working with people if this is how you treat others. Maybe you assumed because we are young we wouldn't tip. Or because we are Hispanic. This behavior is unacceptable and to the manager and owner of this BJ's- do better on who you hire and your training of staff. We left and went to the Buffalo Wild Wings across the street where we were treated with AMAZING hospitality by our server Lee, and welcomed with open arms. We had delicious food- impeccable service, and we left a fat tip for him. Do better. read more

I tried a flatbread quesadilla (sort of) with ranch dipping sauce and sweet potato fries. It was very good, filling and way more than I could eat. It was offered as a weekday $13 special and came with a salted caramel pazookie that was to die for! I was thankful for two spoons for sharing! I ordered a Blue Raspberry drink, wedge salad, and bjs wings. The drink was actually underwhelming at best; I had high hopes, but was disappointed at the $5.49 price tag for it. The salad was ok, I think they forgot to put bacon on mine...there were like 4 tiny pieces. As for the wings, half of the ones on my plate were old, dry, and hard as rock. I cordially sent them back to the kitchen and they gave me some new ones which were undercooked... I decided to bag them up and take them home. Sigh. We had an incredible server at our most recent visit here. The food came out promptly although the restaurant was pretty busy on this Friday night. My only complaint was that we received chicken potstickers that were completely under cooked, and nearly raw in appearance after biting into one of them. My husband unknowingly ate the entire potsticker before I noticed the issue seconds later...ewww! My server quickly apologized and offered to have them remade. I requested that they were to be deep fried instead of pan seared just to ensure that they were fully cooked next time around. I saw the manager with the server as she explained the issue and then the two were at the pos terminal together for a moment I'm sure ringing in my new order. I don't like that the manager never came over to check on our table after the mishap. Isn't that one of their responsibilities to their guests? It would have been great if management stopped by to acknowledge the issue that was brought to their attention. The potstickers also took longer than expected to reach our table. There should have been emphasis placed on correcting the order and getting it sent back to us asap. We came in and ordered various appetizers to share and by the time the potstickers arrived we were mostly done eating so we took them to go. read more

We have always liked BJ's, especially for their Happy hour in the bar area. $4 bottle dometics and $5 drafts along with appetizers starting at $3 - $8. Our favorite is always 1/2 price Monday pizzas which are available in the entire restaurant. My favorite is their tavern pizza which is a cracker thin crust pizza for $9.99 with additional toppings for 99cents. After my experience at BJ's last week in California, I was not super excited when my friend asked to meet here for dinner but it is halfway between her house and mine so I agreed. This visit restored my appreciation for BJ's! The service was exceptional and the food was tasty! I was happy to see they still have the enlightened Asian chopped salad, so yummy and we shared some fryckle fries ( just fried pickles with a silly name). My friend had the hickory brisket bacon burger. It was cooked just like she likes it and the brisket was delicious! And of course we shared a pizookie and it was really good! (So much for my enlightened salad, lol) The floor was really slippery on the steps from the bar area to the dining room floor, not sure what got spilled there but it was a definite hazard.
