Love this neighborhood bar! I have taken my family here and brought home food numerous times! The servers are so sweet and accommodating and bartenders are always cheery and make you feel at home! When it comes to the food, first off they're fresh to order homemade pizzas are to die for! I normally do not like pizza and would be the last thing I usually order when I go out to eat but I am addicted to summits pizzas! They're perfectly crispy but doughy and they load it up with plenty of toppings. I love their running rebel (which is like a supreme but better) and their bbq chicken pizza (dip it in some ranch yum)! Also if you're normally a pasta girly like me, I also recommend all their pastas! Especially the blackened chicken Alfredo! YUM!! This place is clean, non smoking, family friendly and plus they play some pretty good music on the weekends, it's a vibe with the pool tables and darts which makes a fun date night too! Love that it's a complete no smoking restaurant. Service is great and food is okay. Not sure if drinks are watered for non video poker players. The first time I went in I saw my drink made. The next time the girl went around the other side of the bar and we didn't really taste any alcohol in our drinks. So not sure about the drinks. Beer is always a safe bet! When this place first opened it was really good. The staff was attentive and the food was amazing, much better than you'd expect from a neighborhood bar. Since then it has steadily declined in quality and service. Tonight was the last night we will ever go. My wife and I ordered some drinks (old fashioned and long island) and the ribeye steak for myself, the nachos with chicken for her. We should have left when we got the drinks. They both tasted like they were made with the cheapest possible spirits. I had asked for Makers and it tasted like rubbing alcohol. My wife said her long island tasted like that cheap pre-made stuff you can get for $10 a bottle. When the food arrived we realized we forgot to ask for guacamole for her nachos and asked for it then. It never came. The steak was overdone, but I couldn't send it back because the staff never came by to check on us until 45 minutes later. They were laughing and joking with each other, some watching TV and serving drinks to other customers. One looked over 4 times at my steak that I pushed away from me, made eye contact with me and then would immediately turn and walk away. When the bartender that took our order finally came by and asked how everything was, I explained the problem with the steak, the fact that it had been 35 minutes since we ordered guac for the nachos and that we just wanted to leave and find somewhere else to eat. She apologized, went and printed the check and told me she removed the steak. Not the cold nachos that didn't get eaten since we never got the guac for them. I lined through the nachos and deducted that from the check and paid for the drinks and appetizer that did arrive. I wouldn't waste your time here. We went to Summit Tavern for lunch and had a pretty disappointing experience. I ordered the steak and eggs, and my wife ordered a grilled chicken salad. The restaurant wasn't busy at all--just one other couple in the dining area and maybe a couple of people at the bar--so we didn't expect a long wait. However, it took quite a while for our food to arrive. When the food finally came out, my wife's salad was drenched in dressing. It was so heavy that she couldn't eat it. Normally, dressing is served on the side, so this was surprising. My meal wasn't much better. I ordered dry toast, but it came out heavily buttered. I mentioned it to the waitress, but she never brought a replacement. The steak was extremely thin--definitely not even a quarter inch thick--more like a very slim slice of beef. The eggs were also not cooked as ordered; I asked for over medium to well, but they came out runny. We got take out from Summit Tavern recently. Menu is on the smaller side. The largest section on the menu is the appetizers. There are a couple salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and some breakfast items that I believe are served around the clock since this establishment is open 24/7. I am not from the area, so don't really understand how a tavern in this location has the ability to be open 24/7, but I also don't run a restaurant so who knows. Food was ready on time and packaged well. Picked it up at the bar. The inside has sports bar vibes. But the food was just was okay -- average pub food which weirdly is exactly what I was expecting. I got a philly cheesesteak and my SO got the fish and chips. Portions on the smaller side. We will probably try this place again since it is one of the few restaurants in the Tule Springs/Iron Mountain Ranch area. I'm hoping our next experience will be better. read more

Arrived at 0630 wasn't allowed in. The bartender and cook stood behind the partition door heading to the kitchen. They totally ignored the door bell. They looked several times and didn't bother moving to answer door. He just stood there eating and talking to the kitchen person. We also tried calling the place with no answer. Inside this newer bar to the NW Vegas area, it's really nice. Bright, beautiful decor. As a new bar, it's very clean and has a dining area, wraparound bar, and more tables in the bar area. The menu has an assortment of your general bar items - apps, sandwiches, breakfast, and some featured entrees. The Philly Cheesesteak came out nice and hot - it's full of philly meat paired with your traditional onions and peppers. The tater tots for the side were pretty good as well. The Blackened Chicken Alfredo came highly recommended by the bartender, but it fell short to me. The pasta didn't come out very hot and it could definitely use more flavor. Typically, a blackened chicken would be bursting with a nice spice blend but this dish was a bit ordinary. Service is just OK. I found that one was more attentive while another seems to hang out more with the gaming folks. The bar is a wraparound so non-gamers would be more at the end. Definitely recommend a visit to this new gaming bar in the Aliante area that blends comfort with a touch of class. Great gaming promos and friendly service! My partner and I came in on the end of swing shift and beginning of grave on Tuesday 7/15. We were warmly greeted by Gage and James and the young lady who was the server on duty. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name. James and Gage quickly got our drinks and got down to business with explaining the gaming promos available. In no time, we had players cards. The machines were popping! The menu had the standard bar food, but also some offerings like pork belly bites that keeps it fresh and different. We ordered the pork belly bites and they were tender with the perfect crispiness on the outside. They have a beautiful interior with a very large and comfortable non-gaming dining room. We came yesterday after work, they've only been open 3 weeks, from what the waitress told us. Let me start with the ambiance, it's bustling and was very busy. Drinks; they didn't have any happy hour specials, so that was a bummer. I ordered a vodka mule, which the bar tender was generous on. I appreciate that. Food; I ordered the Alfredo pasta, which I was disappointed on. It was not Alfredo. It was not a creamy white sauce but more of a white wine sauce. I will not order it again. The buffalo cauliflower was very good, I'd order that again. Hubby ordered the Philly cheese steak and said it was okay. Friends ordered the Philly cheese steak egg rolls which were much better than the sandwich itself. I went to this venue for a gathering with a good friend. There was a buffet for the occasion with salads, pasta, 3 types of pizza, chicken strips. I don't know I would return for I have be burping up taste of the pizza and the salad. Even I am only 4.1 miles away this venue needs to reevaluate how they make a pizza. Decided to check this out when we were looking for a place to watch some football and eat. We ended up sitting in the dining area as we had a child with us. In terms of atmosphere/environment, it's really nice and new. There are high top tables, regular tables, and half booths. Given the set-up I have to assume it's easy to do large parties/groups here. The service was friendly and timely with no issues at all. We enjoyed the food - those Philly cheesesteak eggrolls really are delicious - and were surprised that the $15 pizza was pretty big and tasty. We also ordered some food to go for family at home and they really enjoyed it, too. Parking was easy, the bathrooms were clean. I definitely see us returning! read more

Checked out the new local Tavern in the neighborhood the other night. Nice place! Food and service were very good. the pizza was outstanding. Kaylee our server was excellent!!! The draught beer selection could have been better IMO. The same old choices as everywhere else you go for the most part. Lots of big beer brands. One can only hope that a local tavern would support some local craft brewers! Not here. Plenty of handles to do so. Get some Evolve Brewing in there. My wife and I were there during happy hour. No wine special and no draught beer special for happy hour at all or at least none that I could find. The only beer specials listed for happy hour I saw were buckets of beer. Lots of people in the bar and I never saw a bucket of beer served. Overall, a nice place with great food and great service. read more

We visited for the first time over the weekend and although we loved the smoke free environment, the service was horrible. Had to wait between 10-15 min for each round of drinks, the staff was not attentive, we had to chase them down each time we needed to order. A couple of us moved to the bar and it was the same thing. I sat there for at least 15 min before I was asked what they could get me and my friend had to ask the same bartender 5 times if she could get her drink. I have gone to Summit to try their pizza. I was really good. Then I got a pizza to go, again, great pizza. Tried them for breakfast last week. I says on the menu, Texas French toast. Maybe that is where they got the bread from, but it was regular white bread. NOT Texas Toast. It was very good, just not what is on the menu. The three times I had been there, the lady bartenders were very personable, fun to talk to, and the service was great. I decided after church on Good Friday that I would try their fish & chips. What a mistake! It was about 1630hrs. Sat down, I don't know if it was shift change, but the bartender appeared to be busy at the register. He didn't acknowledge me, but he was talking to the young lady(who appeared to be a regular) sitting 5 seats to my right. After about 4 minutes, he finally said be right with you. He was at the register but talking back & forth with people he knew, who seemed like regulars. He finally came over, and I ordered a Coors draught. He gave me the drink, and he didn't ask if I wanted anything else. I had to ask for a menu. Which he tossed on the bar. I had to grab it to keep it from sailing past me and into the floor. I ordered the fish & chips. While waiting for my food, I just sat there. Nobody spoke to me. The bartender was "busy" with the regulars and the waitresses. One of the kitchen staff brought out my food to me. The slaw was good, the tarter sauce didn't have much flavor, the fries were so-so, the fish was so overcooked it looked like two very well-done steaks. It was dry and had no flavor. Would never get the fish & chips again. If this had been my first time at Summit, I would not be back I would still get the pizza, but most likely to go. I don't need to feel like I'm intruding on the regular's private party I only tipped about half of what I normally do because of the service. I worked as a bartender as a summer job at the beaches in Rhode Island. I was a bartender at Foxwoods Casino. I was trained that the bartender's job is not only to make drinks. If you see a new customer, if you aren't busy, you need to make them feel welcome. Talk to them, specifically if it is only one person. Try to make them feel like you are glad they came to your bar so they want to come back. That is how the young ladies who waited on me the other times made me feel. My third time visiting this newer establishment. First two times, sat at a table. Both good experiences. Tonight, totally different story. We stopped in for what I was hoping to have a few drinks. Well....my trip consisted of only having 1 drink. Sat at the bar on this trip, as we didn't want to take up a table since we knew we would be just drinking. Was able to order our first round in a very acceptable amount of time. After that, the wheels came off! Both bartenders seemed to purposely avoid us, as they never once came over to check on us after first said drink. Meanwhile, patrons who arrived after we did, were waited on several times over. After about 35 minutes of waiting to have to opportunity to place another drink order, I decided I'd had enough, and stood up to try and gain the bartender's attention, so I could at least pay my bill. It still took her a few minutes to finally come over. Only then did she ask if I'd wanted another drink. I advised her not after waiting approximately 35 minutes to hopefully get another drink. I mean it's Vegas, there are many other places that would LOVE to take my money. After this extremely lackluster experience, I believe I'll never be back unless I get the urge to feel ignored and unwanted. read more
