It's bright and clean and the prices for shooting are reasonable. Their website indicates $15/month which is less than other ranges in large cities charge for a single session. In addition they offer a Monday evening Bullseye league for only $5. This brings a lot of locals into the shop to shoot and talk and shop. It's nice to be able to meet other shooters, look at their equipment, and exchange info and ideas. It just gives the range an atmosphere that is more than a store. It's a place to go, hangout, and have some fun with others. I hope they keep up these leagues all year and maybe even expand them a little. It's a great way to get people into the shop. The range also offers training and safety classes that range from introductory to advanced which include live fire training. It's nice to have a place where even in winter, you can go for training without having to stand out in the cold or rain. In addition to the range they are a gun store and carry a full line of rifles, pistols, ammo, and other accessories. Their prices seem competitive with others on the area and the salespeople seem eager to help you find or figure out what you are looking for. All in all it's great to have a local indoor range again with new management who work hard to satisfy the customers and promote the shooting sports.

I have been shooting firearms for 63 years. I have attended numerous firearms classes, including…read moreLaw enforcement shooting training classes, in an attempt to improve my shooting skills. I really never improved much at all. Then one of my friends who was an average shooter and sometimes struggled to qualify took a class with Loren Hockensmith and scored 95% on his next qualification. I decided to try Loren and see how good he was. I am 100 percent impressed with the attention that I Loren provided to me. He started by having me shoot at 15 yards to observe my shooting. Loren then started by changing the position of my feet, my posture and even the way I held the gun. I started with 12 inch groups and finished with 2 inch groups and in a couple of instances put multiple bullets through the same hole. I simply can't rate Loren high enough, on a scale of 1 to 10, Loren is a 15. Loren was able to fix 63 years of bad habits. I have attended multiple law enforcement training classes and not once has any instructor paid attention with as much detail as Loren.

SIMUNITION SCENARIO TRAINING - July, 15, 2017…read more Definitely 5 STARS! OUTSTANDING!!! The 9 hour course was Great! The instructors were very knowledgeable, experienced in Law Enforcement, and most importantly, they were very supportive! My son and I took the course and we both had a great deal of fun but we also leaned a tremendous amount about how to protect ourselves from violent threats. No one ever wants to be in a life threatening situation, but if, God forbid, we ever encounter such a threat, we now know how to properly meet that threat and how to defend ourselves and our loved ones. Unlike shooting at stationary paper targets, Simulation involves using a real firearm modified to shoot "Simulation Rounds", which gives one very good real life experience against a live assailant that one might encounter when dealing with a threat. The course is intense and challenging but it is very well worth it. If the opportunity arises, my son and I would very much like to take the course again, and I know that my daughters (who unfortunately do not live in the Bedford area), would like to take the course also! Thank You Jeff and your wonderful assistants Jack and Steve, and also Mica for taking all that Simunition punishment!
