These guys damaged my 1 year old tires and brand new rims. They mounted it all back on and didn't do anything except for me to buy new tires and paint wheels. I gave them the wheels brand new in box. Fernando blamed it on bf Goodrich and our weather out here. He tried to sell me used tires and when I asked to see the video of the guy removing the stickers on tires, he said no. My BMW has special, TPMS tire caps. The tech was a bit careless and nearly lost them, replacing them with standard caps. I was able to return and the owner Fernando was able to find them. Many shops steal my caps, but I don't think this was the case. My tires were replaced and balanced quickly and they didn't charge me a disposal fee. read more

I took my 1998 Toyota Tacoma for a wheel alignment and tire balancing as my steering wheel wasn't straight as my truck drove straight. I was quoted at $100. After waiting about 45 minutes, I am told that they were not able to properly align my truck due to me needing a rack and pinion, an additional $400 for parts and labor. I spoke with who I think was the owner/manager about getting a portion of my money back since they didn't provide the service I went in for and I was told NO because essentially it wasn't their fault for my truck needing additional work. I called my actual mechanic and he told me that they should have only charged me $25 at the most for lifting the truck since they didn't align my truck. He also looked at my rack and pinion and nothing was wrong with it. I went to a different shop and had my truck aligned and my steering wheel is straight now. I was extremely disappointed in this shop for charging me for a service that wasn't performed and for trying to get more money out of me by saying something else was wrong. Stay clear. read more

After speaking with three (3) major tire dealers and listening to the reasons my tires were so expensive, I tried some of the independent tire places. PTW not only beat the cost of the tires, there were no extras as with the major dealers. I saved in excess of two hundred dollars ($200.00) for my Pirelli, run flat tires. Plus, the service was terrific, fast, and efficient. The staff is knowledgeable, and professional. Why would you go to a major tire dealer, for their "specials" when the special is a tire that has been sitting on the warehouse shelf for a year or two? PTW installed a newly produced tire, that wasn't on any shelf for more than a month. (the tire wall numbers give you all that information from DOT) I don't know of any reason not to go to PTW, yet, I have hundreds of reasons not to go to the major tire dealers. As an aside, there is no charge for the three thousand mile rotation as long as you own the vehicle. If you want good service, an honest price go to PTW. You won't go wrong. You can't go wrong. I'm sorry I didn't find this shop sooner! It was easy to get an appointment that was convenient for me within a really reasonable time frame. I had new tires put on and customer service was outstanding! They answered all of my questions and I had a clear understanding of everything that was going on with my car. I never felt uniformed or in the dark about anything. Thank you so much for the transparency in prices and the phenomenal work that was done. My Hyundai Accent was pulling to the right severely, so I took it here. After charging me for an alignment, I was told I needed to change my lower control arms as the alignment wasn't going to resolve the pulling. I spent $750 changing the right and left lower control arms as recommended, desperately trying to fix my car. They warranted the alignment, and did it a second time.. the issue still remained! I was then told, "Your car must have been in an accident", at which I replied, "I bought the car 1 year ago and it never pulled".. that was the end of that story. They didn't provide me paperwork of their diagnosis or improvements. They did not propose a solution after investing hundreds of dollars with them. I took my Hyundai Accent to another creditable and reliable shop, who determined the rear axel beam was bent causing the car to pull, this costed another $1100, but thankfully the issue is NOW fixed! Not thanks to PTW. I called PTW and asked to speak with the manager Fernando about my experience, he wasn't helpful, nor nurturing. He was very matter of fact. He offered to look at my car again, for a third time, at which I responded, "If you didn't offer a solution after having my car in your care twice what makes you think a third time you'll be able to offer a solution?" PTW lost a valuable customer and won't keep any long-term clients with this money grab of a game. read more

My 2014 Mercedes CLA cracked a wheel, no tire damage, but two hairline cracks. Tire shop said you need a new wheel or maybe someone can repair the existing wheel. That someone was Fernando at PTW. Within two weeks the order was shipped out and received...professionally installed, adding a lift suspension which the end results were perfection. Summary: quick service (in and out within 45 minutes), great customer service, responsive to our needs. The story: We got a flat tire on our way from AZ to SF after hitting a big rock on the I-10 and needed a quick replacement of our spare. Called a couple places, but felt most comfortable taking our car to PTW. Talking to Fernando on the phone, I didn't feel like he was trying to oversell us anything more than what we needed. I wasn't sure exactly the type and size of tire we needed, so he recommended we stop by so he can assess and further give us the best options. When we arrived, he quickly identified us as the people he just talked to on the phone. He said we could change only our spare if we wanted to, but made us aware that the rest had about 25% life left (the other place we called said they'd have to change all 4 without giving us the choice). We were educated on the different tire options we had, and ultimately recommended Nexen, which is working great (riding as we speak). Fernando also heard our story and our need to get back on the road quickly, and promptly found a worker to fix our car. We ended up changing all 4 tires because of the quick service. They even bolted up the plastic undertray (not sure if that's exactly what it's called) that got damaged and partially ripped off by the rock for free. We were all set and back on the road within 45 minutes! I would highly recommend PTW, if you're in the area. Plus it's a family business, so you get to support that, too :) read more

Not a very good place to get your tires balanced and alignment. I knew I needed an alignment because my vehicle was vibrating... they took care of the vibrating but my vehicle still goes to the right while accelerating and left while braking. But before I took my vehicle in, it was making zero noise. Right after the service it started making a metal on metal grinding noise. They offered a month of warranty, so I went to claim it because it was still steering itself while braking and accelerating. But worst of all the noise was never there. They simply said I need new breaks and rotors. Didn't even bother taking the wheel off to check on the noise. Something went wrong during this operation and now I have to fix the issue they caused, under my own expense and time. Thanks guys. read more

Inquired by phone about lowering my '07 Mustang and Fernando asked all the right questions to determine what I wanted as an end result. He quoted me a price. I took the car in to have him look at it and agreed on the kit to install. He then said he could do it at a lower amount. He ordered the kit and when it was installed he asked if it was what I wanted (it was) and if I was happy (I was)!!!! He even threw in an alignment for the original quote.
