Little ole corner spot in a little ole strip plaza in little ole Harrisburg serving some VERY good and VERY well thought out food. Rueben Eggrolls were excellent, wings were super and the burgers followed suit. Lin has come up with some outrageously topped burgers. Hearty and tasty. Well worth leaving the University area (only a few extra miles) to get away from the same old same old chain joints. Beer selection is awesome and mostly local. Locals supporting locals. Wife and I have decided to have a date night here soon, drink some local brew and go after another Lin burger creation! read more

Food was ok and way overpriced for the quality. The staff is friendly but slow and not tentative like a professional establishment. The worst part of all is the bathrooms. Mens bathroom had pee all over floor and smelt bad plus no one ever cleaned up!!!! Disgusting and the bathroom is right beside the kitchen too!!! It's a One and done type place!! read more

If you're looking for a great, down to Earth, friendly pub this is it. We walked in, sat down and our waitress Chelsea greeted us with a smile and took our drink orders in less than 2 minutes. Nice! We ordered a Wing & pizza special and everything was great. The drinks came out cold the food arrived within 10 minites hot. What else could you ask for? The atmosphere is bar casual, and country and rock tunes add the background noise. The place is kid friendly until the sun goes down and the owner (Bill) is around to make sure all of his guests are happy. In 2018 Charlotte this place is a throw back, and I'm a big fan. Posted an honest review and also tried reaching out to the establishment. Only to be berated and belittled by who answers instant messaging on Facebook. Was told we should have asked to speak with the manager; but there did not appear to be anyone in charge. In working in the hospitality business, I would never treat someone as we were treated last evening. I now have made my decision if I want to come back. read more

New name (Pub 49) Ordered a burger well done. Was in no way well done. All pink. Ordered chips with my burger. Straight soggy. Water was empty. No waitress to refill. Waited 30 minutes for waitress to come to our table so we could cash out. Had to go to bar to pay. Bill was to be separated. Messed up the bills for a separate check. Horrible food and service! I would give less than 1 star if I could. It's bad when you can cook better food at home. read more

My husband and I decided to stop in tonight. It's a nice sports bar. We wanted wings for dinner. Was shocked to see that 12 wings were $17.00. We can get a steak dinner and side for less than that. Had a beer and went to get our wings elsewhere. read more

We got some takeout from this place as we were looking for some good wings to watch college football. Wings are fantastic. You can tell they are fresh and the sauces are all delicious. We also enjoyed their blue cheese which tasted homemade. The chicken at times was a tad fatty which made a couple pieces a bit chewy but all in all, very high quality wings read more

Had a friend recommend trying this place sunce it has a new owner and I haven't been there in a really long time. This was great pub grub and outstanding service! Together we had Fried Haddock and the French Dip and both were really good! Looking forward to going back and trying other things. Great burgers! This place has a very sports bar vibe - tons of tvs and memorabilia all over the walls. Stayed busy but not enough to make it feel crowded. I've eaten here twice now and we will definitely be back. I will say the service is friendly and personable but the food does not come out quickly... both times I was there the burgers have taken a decent amount of time to be ready. The waitress came to our table right when we sat down and brought us our drinks, but never came back. We were planning on having a few drinks, but couldn't get any service. This is place to meet friends. Lots of beers and full bar. Menu has a wonderful variety. You can even order pizza and the place next door will bring it to you. There are many TV screens but beware, the music can get loud and hard to talk to the guy next to you. We frequent this place every couple weeks. read more

The food here is very good! But the prices on the draft beers are quite expensive! The sauces for the wings are delicious and so are the sandwiches. This is a local hang out and not one to pass by if you are in the area for sure. It's under new ownership and much has been done to revamp the menus and beer selection. You will find upwards of 13 local beers on tap for your tasting pleasure, tons of gourmet style burgers, 14 wing sauces to choose from (the wings are big as hell BTW), as well as specials daily that are unique and amazing. I heard Lynn, the new owner, had a Filet steak special last week. That's not the usual type of fair you would find in a local bar like this but that plays to the uniqueness of this place. The wraps look awesome, I'm just not a wrap kind of dude. The menu is priced right and the service is friendly and on top of it. I am giving this place 4 stars only for the reason that I have yet to try the pizza, so have no opinion on that. I used to think of this place as a bar that also served bar food, but lately I am thinking of it as a restaurant, that just happens to be a bar. Their food is great, each order looks just like the picture, regardless of what day of week I order, and the flavor and portion size are both great. I am completely fine with their handling of the pandemic procedures as half of the tables or more are stacked and stored to meet capacity guidelines. If you are the type to be suited up in a germicide suit, and wear gloves and three masks, this may not be the place to go. There is no official waiting area, so once you are in the place, you are among diners, so very common for noone to wear masks while they are seated. They sanitize their pens and tables like most places so i feel very comfortable there. In fact i actually prefer it there -- seems to be a good escape with great food at a good price and SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF. read more

I come here often. I love their wings. They are pretty large in size and there are great flavors to choose from. I always get garlic Parmesan and dry buffalo rub. So good! Great beer selection. A few days during the week they have $2 cans. Sports are always on the TVs. They even changed the channel to a game we were wanting to see. This is mine and my husbands new favorite local spot in Harrisburg. My husband loves craft beer which they always have on tap and we both love good food! At first glance many might think it's just another dive with average bar food but that's just not the case at 49 Yardline! Everything they have is made in house.
