This experience was such a pleasure from start to finish. It was a BYOB event although the owner did supply Sangria, chips and dip and cake. Oh what a treat. I was a little disappointed in knowing that the class was open to 50 people and half of them did not show. They missed a good time. I would be sure to return to this business. You don't have to an expert to take their group classes. It's all about having wonderful time with your loved ones! It's super easy to register for classes online. The sessions get booked quickly so register early. You have to register and pay color and glazing separately. It's no included in the first pottery session. I'll definitely return for another gallery visit (the exhibits/shows change all the time)! But Eubie Blake is more than a gallery, even during COVID times! It offers live music (Eubie Live!), classes, and events. It's not very clear to me what they're doing right now during COVID, and their website isn't great at providing information about their hours or how to visit (I wasn't sure, for example, if you needed to have a pre-selected time to visit the galleries during COVID or not - the answer is no). If you happen by and they're open, stop in! There's some really great art in those galleries! I hope to return for some jazz sometime soon!

They don't answer their phone, I left multiple messages and zero returned calls on their end. It took 3 emails before I finally got a reply and then they didn't even answer all my questions in regards to getting a time and day scheduled. I emailed again and two days later NO REPLY! On their website there is a supposedly a way to schedule online but that didn't work either. Thankfully Groupon refunded my over $500 purchase. Do not deal with this company!

During first Friday the gallery owners offer wine and feature a different artist. This gallery is perhaps the biggest one of all and Felicia really loves local diverse artists and celebrates all her shows via a mannequin in a gown with all the shows she's had for 10 years. The show I most recently went to on a Saturday was featuring Pothik Chatterjee - his first solo show: Black Butterfly: Queer Brown Magic. Felicia offered us eggnog - delightful sweet with a chocolate chaser. There's a downstairs and an attached gallery with Zweibach creations who makes historical paintings and puzzles and puzzle cards! Currently the prices are too high for me but I did buy some puzzles and cards for the holidays. But if you're a patron of the arts this gallery won't disappoint with the amazing local artists featured here.
