Have been here a few times before and have had a wonderful experience, great menu and great beer selection. However, as I sit here now having waited 40 minutes for a couple wraps my opinion of this place has changed. I'm a chef, if I were to have ticket times this long my job would be in jeopardy. Our server was not the friendliest in the world. She wasn't bad, but also didn't seem to care that much. Honestly I felt like I was bothering her. I've had bad servers in the past at other places and she's certainly not like them. But for a place like this she was a disappointment. Food was average pub fare. I had the turkey burger with the beer cheese on top. It was good. Their beer selection is average compared to other places in the area. Overall my experience was average. Went here for a friend's birthday last year and our server was wonderful! I had the veggie burger on ciabatta with a side of steamed veggies. For the price, the bowl of steamed veggies should have been significantly bigger. However, the deliciousness of the handmade veggie burger helped make up for it! The pub has a nice feel to it, but the menu is about as far from pub fare as possible. Not that the Irish are known for their culinary excellence, but this menu lacks any pizazz or pop. Pub Bricco provides pretty good food at a decent price. The burgers were pretty good and the onion rings were hot and crisp. I had the egg, bacon and cheddar burger cooked medium; it came out a little more than medium, but it was still moist. The white of the egg was not fully cooked as I would expect for over easy egg. The yolk was not overly hot as it did not burn as I would expect upon biting into it. Likely, the egg was slightly underdone and finished in advance of the burger. We ordered onion rings, but the waitress initially missed it. We did get these shortly after and they were nice and hot. If you get the onion rings fresh and quick, they seem to be well above average. The problem with Pub Bricco was the Brie and mushroom bake appetizer. This was just bland and seemed to be missing something. It was a massive portion, but I would have preferred a smaller portion with higher quality Brie. I have also had a salad (berry) previously and they switched out the greens for an alternative without asking or telling me in advance. The salad was fine, but I would have expected that they would say something when the menu and reality do not match. read more

I don't understand how a processed formed chicken patty with BBQ sauce on top all over a gloppy serving of baby food, I mean sweet potatoes is consider gourmet. I was shocked when one of my friends brought me here after I've heard rave reviews. However, I gave it 3 stars because our waitress told us a certain beer was no longer on the menu, even though we ended up finding it ourselves and they did have it. We went there for my birthday on 1/2 at 8pm and I had the worst meal of my life. I ordered the fried chicken with blueberry barbeque sauce, I took one bite and knew something was wrong, I waited for our waitress to come around (who barely showed up at our table at all, and arrived at the end of our meal) and her response was "I wish you would have told me sooner so I could have done something about it" ...I told her to go back and tell the chef the chicken was old. My husband French dip sandwich wasnt great either, no flavor. Needless to say we vow not to go back due to the service and poor, rotten food. read more

We were meeting at the pub for an engagement party. They were to have an area for us for about 16 people and they did not. After seating us all separately and moving all if us around two times I thought things would get better. We had to wait for over an hour to get our food. Have dined at Pub Bricco twice and have been impressed by the quality of their food. I ordered a burger on my first visit with various toppings, and the beef was so good, it could stand alone. On my second visit, I ordered the soup of the day, which was cream of mushroom, not something I would normally order, but it was heavenly. We have also dined at their downtown Akron location and Fairlawn. We are going to try the downtown Cleveland location next in April after seeing Les Miserables. Keep up the good work. read more

Came here for a salad and glass of wine on a nice summer evening and asked for an outside table. We sat down, ordered and then realized the three people sitting just next to us (and right next to the door to the restaurant) were all smoking. When we asked the manager about this he said it was their policy to allow smoking on the patio until someone complained; then he would ask them to stop. Really now, this is the way the law works? Smoking is permitted unless someone complains? We felt very uncomfortable and it ruined our meal. The manager was unapologetic and extremely defensive of their smoking policy. read more

I have been to pub bricco many times, usually I leave more than pleased! Great prices for bottles of wine, awesome martini list and the food is always good too. There are multiple appetizers that are great, especially the goat cheese marinara, and I love the variety of sandwiches. Good thing their food and drinks are good enough for me to want to come back. A few weeks ago I went in for a late dinner after we were finished with work. We work in the service industry so we have later working hours. We showed up about 40 minutes prior to close and ordered right away because we understand how it is showing up close to closing time at a restaurant. With our experience in the industry 40 minutes before close is plenty of time, even if we didn't try to rush. The bartender made us feel very unwelcome as he handed us only one food menu, no drink menu and then expected us to know what we were drinking without being able to see a drink list. He hovered over us as we were deciding on what wine to get and it made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. Then we promptly ordered our food, once our food came out he didn't ask us how everything tasted until I had already finished my sandwich. We felt pressured after dinner to either take our wine home or drink it as fast as we can. In the end we had a $48 dollar tab, one appetizer, one salad, two entrees and a bottle of wine. The value of our meal was great, just not the service. We dined here the following week but instead asked for a table so we didn't have to deal with the rude bartender again. Our server, Tom, was great that night. Friendly and attentive. We will return, but will not sit at the bar if the same bartender is working (which he seems to work quite often.) I know other friends that have dined here before and have had a not so great experience with the same bartender. i would definitely recommend pub bricco, just don't sit at the bar if you want good, friendly service. read more
