We love Pub Dog. We stopped on a Sunday afternoon. Place was packed and we got the last table. About the time I thought we will never get service, there stood the smiling bartender. She quickly got us our beer and we ordered a pizza. Fantastic, what a great pizza to share between to people. There were two bartenders, the place was packed and the service and beer was excellent. What more could you ask for.

    The Atomic Dog pizza

    - we were in the area and came across this jem. Diverse beer selection and REALLY diverse pizza menu. Pictured is the Atomic Dog which had the perfect amount of seasoning and spices.

Had no idea this place existed. We came here for a friends birthday on Saturday and had a blast! The beer was great, the bartender was super helpful and gave great recommendations, everything was kept super clean, and you can bring pets, food, games, ect. What a great place for some day drinking on a beautiful day.

The hard cider was good and so was my pepperoni pizza. I ended up ordering a second pizza because it was so good.

Five dollars for 12 ounces in a plastic cup? No thanks. IPA is decent. Very small tasting area, no food. Not much else to say.

Expectations were high, after my sister's go to craft brewery closed down and her husband took to Stone Silo immediately, signing up to be a club member. The building itself did have a stone silo on property that opened up to fields. There was a rustic, farm type feel walking in the front door. Welcomed by stone and dark colored woods, the facility was quite large and clean with ample seating. A glance outside there were fire pits and chairs to sit set, along with an 'adult only' section if you don't like your craft with a crying 2 year old. I sampled a few beer including the IPA, which was a bit underwhelming, but expected since the West Coast is known for quality IPAs. I settled on the Japanese rice lager, 'Nojo with Yuzu.' What a mistake! Not something I could get behind and I like yuzu too. Just too tart for a lager and not what I was looking for in my light beer selection. Second round I tried their Czech style dark lager, Clever Crow. Not sure what about this was supposed to be lager, it really felt more porter-ish to me, did not drink light and just not what I was looking for in a dark lager. The grounds and staff were great, it was a fun place to hang with family, but maybe I just made two poor beer decisions. Expected a bit more from the taps but would be willing to go back and give Stone Silo a second chance, as I know my bro-in-law will want to go back since it's close to the house

You order at the bar and they give you a buzzer when your food is ready to be picked up at the window. My friend was excited because they had bourbon and burgers, which hit the spot for her. She got a black and bleu burger with a side salad and raved about the burger. I opted for a gyro with fries, and a German pilsner. My sandwich was good, but I thought it needed more tomatoes and onions. The fries had a kick and were a very generous sized portion. If I'm ever in the York area again, I'd definitely stop back in.

Went with the bartenders suggestion of the Rei Rei Sauce (Combination of Mango Habanero Sauce, Thai Chili Sauce and a smoky BBQ Sauce as described by the bartender). Apparently they made it for a regular patron, and it was so good, it made it to the menu. . Wings were "naked" decent size and cooked rather crispy. I'm usually a hot and honey guy, so this was a bit more spicy than my norm, but it wasn't burn my butt off hot. Good mix of flavors in that sauce. Look forward to visiting again and trying the hot and honey. Beer list was also extensive and delicious! -- at Collusion Tap Works Lititz.

Plenty of options for seating, whether inside, outside on their deck, or out in the woods. They have a food truck, which I mentioned in my prior review...but the nachos are still BANGIN! Jay and Sandy are really great and provide excellent customer service. My favorite beer is Moonscribe, but even when they're out, I always find something else to enjoy. They have plenty of options to cater to most beer drinkers and alternate quite often. The vibe is chill, and they have events often. Dont miss out on Pines and Needles on Thursdays, where you can bring a vinyl and listen while you enjoy a cold one....one of our favorite nights to attend. Overall, great local brewery that is a must to check out!

You can walk to the pine forest and eat at a picnic table beneath the trees or sit indoors (some smell of brewery) or eat on their covered patio. Non alcoholic is limited to Boylan creme soda, root beer or water. It is worth the trip imho for the chili - it is very good chili and he is entirely too modest about it.

I opted for the barbacoa tacos which were very good. The meat was cooked nicely, the sauce was flavorful, and the addition of the pickled onion was perfect. She Said: We arrived at GearHouse after having a couple of beers at another Chambersburg establishment, and I'm so glad we opted to have our dinner here. First, after a day of disappointing beers during our travels, the IPA I had at GearHouse was terrific. Though they were out of cheesesteaks by the time we arrived, the pretzel that we shared was one of the better brewery pretzels we've had. I decided to have the Korean chicken bites appetizer for my main dish, and they were the perfect texture, just the right amount of spiciness for me, and excellent chicken flavor. I hope we come through this town again soon so we can experience more of GearHouse's beer and food. Potty Points: 4/5 potty points. No wait and clean--impressive especially when considering it was a busy Saturday night.
