Buyer beware!!! Don't expect to pay the monthly rate you start with for very long. I had this unit for less than six months and the price just went up by 20%. They gave me a lame excuse that their operating cost increased, but when I asked if they ever reduced their rates when their cost decreased they said no. This is the old bait and switch false advertisement. If the operating cost increase is a true process then shame on them, as their facility is dirty, old and not well kept and some of the lighting was not working on the 2nd floor hallways. Who is running this place? Also beware if you call to complain and then call back to get a number for their corporate office they will not answer your call, as they have caller ID. I had to switch phones and use my cell to get them to pick up my call. At this rate I should expect to pay double my initial rate within 24 months. I wish I can reach their corporate office, but their 800 number only works if you are in state. I plan to move my stuff out ASAP. read more

They automatically raise your rent every 6 months by $10 and they don't disclose this when you sign up. I even think I asked about if/when they raise their prices and they never mentioned what seems to be a policy. Just shady business practices to me. read more

I came here with their Memorial Day Special. The customer service representative over the phone assured me that their prices will be reduced and is half off their regular price. The lady at the front desk that signed my contract also assured me that my holiday price will stay the same throughout the lifetime of the contract. She rushed me through the contract. A year later, they raised the prices. I went to ask their front desk and they began reading me fine print on my lease agreement that never stated anything about the holiday pricing and that their prices can change at any time. Furthermore, he also explained to me that the regular price they quoted me originally is a bit strangely too high and the lady that signed my contract is no longer there. Fraud Alert! THEIR ARE PLAYING BAIT AND SWITCH and it is illegal!!! I called their customer service and the lady over the phone was very defensive as if previous customers have accused them of similar deceptions and she kept interrupting me rudely. I wasn't even finished speaking and she began speaking and transferring me. I was then referred to their executive services that was just as defensive, rudely interrupting me. Their executive service is no service!! Sounds like they've had similar accusations before from the way they are so quick to defend themselves. BOTTOM LINE: THEY PLAY GAMES WITH THEIR PRICING DEPENDING ON MARKET DEMAND AND IT CHANGES CONSTANTLY. THEY CAN CHARGE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRICING FOR THE SAME EXACT SPACE WITHOUT ANY JUSTIFICATION. They say that it's like real estate. The difference is that in real estate, if two exact houses are priced extremely different, most lenders won't lend to prevent frivolous and fraudulent practices such as this. MAKE SURE YOUR CONTRACT SECURES A PRICING GUIDELINE so you won't have any surprises. read more

You can see it from the freeway. A lot of dust right now because of the freeway construction, but otherwise nice establishment. I reserved online and then scheduled to come in and look at the unit, which was upstairs, a 10X10. They have a service elevator and carts to put items on, which is very helpful. I was greeted by Yolanda, who is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. She is a funny woman, who is assuring of the safety of the facility and even provided me with some safety tips (for the single, independant gal). There is NO 24 hour access, which Im torn about. On one hand it would be great to be able to access my things at any time, but on the other hand, I like that their hours of access coincide with their hours of bussiness. This reason alone assures that no one is entering late, who has access, but may be sketchy?! It's reasonably priced and it's local. They called me to follow up the week of my move-in, which I liked. I was able to purchase covers for my bed and couches. They seem pretty secure as they are gated and each person has to enter their access code, no one is permitted to tail in behind the other. They of course have security cameras, but require you to purchase insurance in case of any stolen items, bu they assured me that they have not had that happen. Overall satisfied for now :) read more

I had to stop by this Baldwin park location to pay my brothers storage. I was in a rush to pay my brothers late rent and I was in a bad mood. Thank god I came here because let me tell you..these ladies really helped me out! The ladies that work there are fast, friendly and efficient. I'm glad because you don't see that very often in customer service. Lizbeth and Brianne you guys are awesome! Thank you for making this as easy as possible for me, I really appreciate it. I just rented this space. I was so happy to get Yolanda's help, not only with check in but, on the day I moved, she stayed even later to make sure I was able to access my space to unload the moving van. Moving is ALWAYS a PAIN. She really helped to give some relief to some of that pain. read more

Really loved the customer service. From the time that I had made the reservation to hold a storage unit for me, I got a call from Laura soon after letting me know that she as calling to introduce herself and to give me some more information over the phone. But seriously, who calls to introduce themselves? Who does that?! I thought that was awesome. When i arrived, she was very helpful, professional and just amazing overall. There's a new guy I was told, Daniel, that is very helpful also, He was helping another customer. I've been in customer service all my life and pay attention to the way workers are with other customers even when they are not helping me personally. But I did also see a comment on there regarding the insurance for your items. That's great that they have it and everything. I was told this was something that all storage unit companies have now. I don't know for a fact if ALL of them have it but every one that I called told me you have to purchase it. I don't agree with it. I don't have that much stuff to store. If something happens to it, it wouldn't be worth having to go through filing claims for honestly. I think if anyone wants to start a petition to get rid of this, let's do it. read more
