Finding storage in SoCal can be one of the hardest things to do. Many places are completely full, have weird rules or poor customer service. This particular location of Everest storage is not one of those places. I initially reached out via Yelp and they responded to my request very promptly. They even went a step beyond and called me to clarify any questions I did have. Unfortunately at the time there were no open spaces, but I asked to be placed on a waitlist if the size unit I was interested was available. Lo and behold, someone moved out and I received a call from Gus asking me to check out the unit to see if would fit my needs. He was super friendly and easy to deal with over the phone so I made an appointment to check it out. Upon arriving to the facility the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. Very good sign, IMO. I was greeted by Gus who showed me the unit and and answered all of my questions. He explained all of the rules and regulations in detail. I had a really good experience and decided to rent a unit. We came to this place because of the affordable prices and the fact that the storage units are all car accessible. We needed an 8x20 it took us a while to get a storage because they're usually all rented out but it was worth the wait. We were renting a similar storage a few blocks away for $320 and at $209 it's huge difference. I don't really leave reviews but the staff there were as polite as can be. I believe they were husband and wife and they made the whole experience very easy. They both had a lot of information and made you feel very welcomed. The prices really get you to the door but the customer service provided is what would prevent people from looking else where. This place would not be the same without the pleasant staff! read more

Gus and Ana make this place work. They are amazing. I used to rent a space with them 10 years ago. When I walked in, Gus actually remembered me! Their service is top notch and their prices is better than other comparable services around. **Note to upper management** I consider Gus and Ana to be the management personnel. However, this storage is owned by a bigger company. So I have to make a note, to "upper management" and I hope they listen to me. Your marketing team has different prices (lower prices) advertised on Yelp and different lower prices on your website. You also show a list of available units by dimensions. However, these prices are outdated and the availability listing is also not regularly updated. Here's the problem with these oversights. A person can reserve a unit that is listed as available on your website and when coming in to claim the storage unit reserved, the customer is told the unit is not available. This makes it hard for Gus and Ana to deal with the customer's disappointment. In addition if the customer didn't know that Gus and Ana were decent and honest employees, the discrepancies between the actual price and the advertised price would further make Gus and Ana's job more difficult and the customer not knowing these two fine employees could easily think that they are being sketchy and that are trying to raise prices to line their own pockets. Fortunately, I've known Gus and Ana through dealing with them a decade ago but most customers are first time renters. This oversight of "upper management" not only makes Gus and Ana's job; who are the face of the company, more difficult, but it can also result in negative reviews that can negatively effect the bottom line. Overall, this is a great storage facility with all units on ground floor. Most often, all units have been rented to full capacity. I suggest if you're looking for a storage unit within the area that you first call or drop by to make sure if there's any availability. If there is a unit available, I can tell you that the price is around 40% less than the storage units in Alhambra. I used to pay $260 for a unit in Alhambra (same size and dimensions) versus $165 I now pay here in San Gabriel. Thank you Gus and Ana for your welcoming ways and a clean facility. read more
