I was in charge of organizing the logistics. Which, by the way, is my least favorite thing to do in a time crunch. I've had horrible storage facility experiences in the past but was impressed by my experience with this facility. The main item being, I didn't even need to interact with anyone to get this handled. We already had enough going on, so this convenience was VERY appreciated. After a quick yelp search, Buckeye State Storage popped up. I noticed they were literally minutes from Cleveland State which was super convenient for my cousin. I immediately went onto their website and reserved their move-in special, a 10x10 for $99. I instantly received a gate code, room #, and my cousin already had her own lock from the past that she held onto. She dropped her stuff off 20 minutes later. That was easy!

After a few weeks and waiting for a RV to park for the winter. Went in and met with Brad the GM of the Storage Zone. Had all the paper work in place and ready to sign. Originally quoted before hand $100 a month. Was asked when ready to sign up if anyone quoted me? Told the GM he did and said $100 he quoted. He told me he would never would of quoted me that price that he needed to get $145 a month. I refused and walked out. Found another heated place and no issues with new place. Be careful and make sure you get signed paper work when your first agree on rental price. Brad might change his mind when you go back to sign up

Also as I google this company realized we are not the only people that are going thru this. Try to avoid this company as much as you can.

A Complete Disaster…read more If you value your belongings and expect even a shred of customer service, RUN--don't walk--away from CubeSmart. Our experience at the Warrensville Heights, OH location has been nothing short of a nightmare. My husband and I rented a 10x25 outdoor unit at this location in September 2024, and in February we discovered our worst fears: water, ice, and slush covering the floor of our unit and ruining our belongings. Cardboard boxes soaked through. Art and personal items warped and destroyed. A leaking roof and faulty door allowed snow and rain to pour in, and it had clearly been happening for some time. When I called the office, no one answered--even though it was during business hours. I left a message and eventually found an employee outside. Instead of offering help, this employee had the audacity to shrug and say, "You don't have our insurance, so I can't help you." Are you kidding me? Forget basic human decency--CubeSmart won't even take responsibility for their own faulty unit! We reached out to management, only to be met with cold indifference and zero accountability. The manager outright refused to speak with me because my name isn't on the contract, even though we both share and pay for the unit. What kind of ridiculous policy is that? To make matters worse, the official line we've been fed is that CubeSmart is not responsible for damage caused by leaks and poor maintenance unless we have their insurance. This is a clear and intentional evasion of responsibility. We do have insurance, but that's beside the point. This isn't about insurance; it's about a complete failure on CubeSmart's part to provide a secure storage space, which is literally the only service they are supposed to offer. Instead, we were ignored, dismissed, and left to deal with the destruction of our belongings on our own. CubeSmart's Warrensville Heights location is a textbook example of how NOT to run a business. Zero accountability, incompetent staff, and a manager who refuses to engage with customers or take responsibility for the state of her facility. If you want to store your belongings in a leaking, poorly maintained box with absolutely no help when things go wrong, then by all means, rent here. But if you care about your property and expect basic customer service, find literally any other storage company. We'll never use CubeSmart again, and we'll be warning everyone we know to avoid them like the plague.

My in-person experience was relatively good - good enough that I was posting about it to family and friends with high recommendation. But the day after the move I went to set up my TV and discovered that the screen was severely cracked, having been (it seems) pinched in the top two corners. The crack spread across the entire top half of the screen. The TV works, but is unusable. I had to buy a new one, which cost me almost $200. I submitted the damage complaint twice and was not even contacted. For a company that calls and emails every day for a week trying to GET my business in the first place, that is particularly gross. As it stands now, I can't imagine ever using or recommending College HUNKS again purely because of the lack of response to my complaints, let alone lack of resolution. If you don't have anything fragile, sure, go ahead. But maybe move the fragile things yourself (my TV was the only fragile thing I did not move myself, and I sorely regret it). I will add that it was a 3.5 hour job that involved moving down from a second floor in a house and then up to a third floor in another house, and the TV was the only thing damaged. It was not packed in a box and the movers assured me they could use their TV bag and it would be fine. It was not fine.

I would NOT recommend this moving company…read more The move started out well. They arrived on time and initially seemed professional. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly. First, the movers started putting items on the truck that I had clearly set aside to throw away, including a dryer. After loading things that weren't supposed to be moved, they then told me they were running out of room on the truck. Once we arrived at the new place, the pace became extremely slow. There were four movers, but at times it seemed like only one person was actually going back and forth upstairs and putting furniture back together. I was told they were using a "chain line," but whatever system they were using was not efficient. The move ended up taking two hours longer than expected, which added approximately $500 to my bill. Even worse, they broke my daughter's TV, which she had only owned for about four months. When I tried to file a claim, I repeatedly called and was told that a manager would contact me. I kept speaking with the same person, John, who would act surprised each time that no manager had called me back. Eventually, they stopped answering my calls altogether. As we've continued unpacking, we've discovered another serious issue. The TV stand had been taped closed with belongings inside of it, but when it arrived at the new place, those items were missing and the TV stand was empty. My biggest problem isn't just that things went wrong during the move--it's the company's lack of accountability afterward. Items were damaged, other belongings appear to be missing, my bill increased by hundreds of dollars because of the additional time, and my attempts to resolve the issues have been ignored. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them. If something gets damaged or goes missing, don't expect them to make the claims process easy or to take responsibility.

It's all good ....I have no issues ......they are on top of everything & do what they say...Justin is the owner & works right outside delivering propane to your home. Many places are a bit run down or operated by large corporate chains. My experience with the bigger chains is frequent and unpredictable rate increases. Then someone recommended Smart Storage which had just opened about a month ago. AMAZING! The place is brand new, really well designed, and I appreciate that access is NOT 24/7. Currently access is 6AM -11PM. I never loved the idea of people rooting around at all hours of the night. The units are immaculate and it appears that all of the infrastructure, cameras, and access doors are the latest tech. The best part of the entire experience is the owner Steve. This is a family owned and operated business. What a difference from dealing with an anonymous corporation. Steve helped me figure out the right storage solution for my needs and made the entire experience a joy. I look forward to coming here. For the record I am not being compensated in any way for this review. After 30 years of renting various units I will say this is the best I have come across. Check it out for yourself!

It is away from densely populated areas, though close to Ravenna and Streetsboro and I-80, I-480. It is a very secure facility; high fences and sturdy separated buildings, secured gated entry after hours. Easy access to facility and your unit. Office is on the premises, so they also keep an eye on things. Everything here is clean and well maintained. The office sells locks and related items in case you need them and, as mentioned earlier, the owner and staff are happy to be helpful. It is hard to imagine how a storage facility could be better. I am confident my stuff is safe from both weather and people, so that why I keep it here :)

Uniform/Embroidery/silk screen: This place is miss named. Route 14 Storage is a great storage facility, but, the embroidery, silk screen, uniform aspect is unbelievably diverse. Uniforms, logos, t-shirts, jerseys, security uniforms, novelty items, hats, pens, etc. all available at this facility. A graphic designer is on staff to help you design anything you need from hats to pants to pens to whatever you need (even shoes?). I love this place and the people who staff it! I have rented here for over a year now and have nothing but good things to say. From signing up to…read morethe owners diligence in quality control. Many storage facilities you find it to be poorly maintained and rodent infested. They care about protecting your personal belongings for a value you cannot beat. The owner is responsive even outside of normal business hours and is flexible in accommodating your needs. The items I have there are valuable to me and I feel confident that they are safe at all times. You receive top tier service at a reasonable price. Obtaining access to the unit couldn't be easier with a secure gate that is accessed by a personalized code. During the winter the lot is cleared making access the unit easy. I cannot say enough good things about Old State Storage and mention them often to friends and family.

I would go every now and again and sorted through boxes (garbage, donation and what I decided to keep. Once it was manageable the owner allowed me to move everything to a smaller unit. It was nice to know that anytime I needed something I could go and get it from the unit. One time I had a hard time opening the gate and the owner came by quickly to help me. He was always courteous. When it was time to move everything out of storage he was very kind. He thanked me for all the years that I had used his business. Honestly why am I the first to review this place? Private, easy to get too, hardware store next door if you need tape, locks, etc.
