Every single item I had, all of my belongings, boxes, and so on... every one of my personal effects (some boxes were opened since I had needed some items) was *covered* in a layer of soot. When I reached out to the front desk, an exec wrote back that there was nothing they can do. No cleaning; they won't move my stuff; and no partial refund.

Just a few months after they took ownership they have raised my monthly rate by $200. I kid you not. I am in the process of moving out and it is unfortunate that they did this right as the temperature outside is going up making it a miserable experience. They will give you a nice low rate to start, but don't fall for it. It just seems like this rate hike is all about greed. I feel bad for the front desk workers because they are really nice and this makes their job much more difficult. Do better Public Storage.

We used Republic Storage before when we lived in Star for years and they never raised our rent once.
