This was about as piss poor experience as one could have. 1) Upon the initial renting of my space, I specifically inquired about and requested to add my dad as my authorized user. Months later when I needed him to have access, I was told he hadn't been added as my authorized user but instead, my emergency contact. 2) I went into the office to add my dad as my authorized user and setup a transfer. I was previously told that if I transferred, it would only be $1.00. While in the office, I explained to Nyisha that I wouldn't be there and needed that my dad would be transferring my items. She seemed a bit resistant to assisting us but warmed up after a few. When my dad returned the next day to move my stuff, he was told he couldn't take possession as there were forms I needed to complete. When I called Ms. Nyisha to inquire about this, I was then told I had to complete the transfer forms in person. In the entire 30 minutes I was there the day before, why on earth would she not have told me about the transfer form??:???? Per Ms. Nyisha, she didn't know I wouldn't be there, she just thought my dad was moving me. IF I WAS GOING TO BE THERE, WHY WOULD I GO THROUGH THE TROUBLE TO ENSURE HE WOULD HAVE FULL ACCESS THE NEXT DAY TO MOVE MY STUFF???????? 3) I then had to rent a new storage and was charged the full fee of $105 not the discounted transfer fee. When they say follow your first mind do so, I was taking my stuff out of there altogether but decided to just transfer because of the transfer discount. 4) Because Ms. Nyisha didn't do her job and then was MIA, I was charged more by the mover for the extended time he was there. read more

I rented a storage unit at 8490 Duralee Ln Douglasville Ga. My items has been in this unit for 8 years. Now that I'm able to retrieve my items,I went to the unit and OMG,THE UNIT WAS INFESTED WITH RATS and Silver Fish bug's that Sting you. Most of my items were unrecognizable and mildew.The Rodents had chewed holes through to the next unit. And laid eggs and left rat dropping all through my furniture.. There was no dumpsters to empty out The trash and management was no help and very unprofessional. For 8 years of storage I paid over 30,000 dollar's, and when I voiced my opinion to her the manager, she just laughed and said yeah you're right.. Management was very unprofessional, and unsympathetic even though I drove all way from another state to take care of this matter,they were all about how much money can they get.. I would advise everyone to steer clear of this location. .THIS PLACE IS INFESTED WITH RODENTS AND MORE!!!!!!!!.If I could give this Storage place a NEGATIVE 0..I WOULD. read more

A+ Customer Service. A Very smooth move. It is refreshing to see that these ladies who run this storage facility actually care about there customers. After running 2 days late on my move, Beverly was understanding every time I called her to change my move in time. Upon arrival to move my things in, I remember coming up 7 dollars short in cash. Beverly did not think twice.... and offered to loan me the money to get my things moved in the unit. I can not express enough thanks for her help. This property is located in a very convenient place and the property manager Ms . Beverly is awesome!! She was very inviting and has a great personality, she's also very friendly. She was very helpful in making my move as smooth as possible, she made sure that I had boxes, tape etc. I would recommend this property to anyone. read more

Be ware, if you rent any of their units in any part of the US and you change your mind before moving in, you will NOT be getting your money back. If you paid for a lock, you will get that back. But that is it. I am still waiting on my hard earned money. read more

Beverly provided me very good service with a warm manner. I was offered boxes to purchase, and everything was made very clear to me regarding my storage rental. I was able to take advantage of the $1.00 move in rate, but the internet "move in cost" estimation was extremely misleading because I wasn't made aware up front of the lock fee ($17.99) nor the mandatory insurance of $11.00-$15.00. I am on a SUPER tight budget and would have REALLY been appreciative of knowing these costs up front. My suggestion to the company is to PLEASE make your customers aware of these fees up front. I was seriously disappointed to not be made aware as I was counting on that money for other moving expenses. Regardless, Beverly is an absolute gem, and I really enjoyed my rapport with her. read more

Let me first say GREAT customer service from Ms. Beverly at this location. She is super sweet, helpful and knowledgeable about her job. I wasn't sure what I needed or how big of a unit I needed and she took me around showed different units to compare and make a solid decision. She called after I made my reservation to make sure I was still interested (which I was) and once I moved my belongings into my new into Ms. Beverly called to make sure everything went well and if I was satisfied with my decision. She added if not she'd be more ham happy to accommodate me. Absolutely wonderful customer service and friendly staff. If I know anyone moving I would recommend this location and Ms.Beverly to take care of them. read more

The property is barely qualified as secure, as any athletic human could easily scale one of the trees near either side of the fence and cross the rusted-away barbed wire fence. In addition to that, the only two cameras on the property are only able to clearly view the gate and look like they haven't been touched in over a decade and probably don't even function. i have witnessed, on multiple occasions, people crawling underneath the back gate to gain entry while i was accessing my unit, obviously aware that they are out of view of any useful surveillance and not concerned with me seeing them do this. I was assured by the property manager that this was a "good area." i regrettably grew up in Douglasville and know first hand that that area, specifically, is not that. The rate is comparable to any of the other storage facilities in the area, but was the only one that had the size i needed. My 15x5 unit is roomy, but infested with lots of wasps and bees during the summers. it is also entirely comprised of untreated plywood or particleboard inside the poorly sealed metal exterior and features exposed wiring, and usually shattered light bulbs in the ceilings, presumably deactivated long ago. furthermore, a 5x15 means you basically got 3 5x5's with the separating walls removed and are required to provide specific and expensive locks for all three doors, which i'm betting almost nobody has and will have to purchase them at the front desk like i did. so my $1 first month was almost the same as my $63 monthly payment because i had to buy locks before i could even access the unit. read more
