The guy on the phone said **36 was available. I finished up with him. And I opened up **36 and left my valuable guitars in it. 12 guitars that I've had for decades. I'm going through a divorce so I have to dangerously store things. Yesterday I came to put the rest of my belongings in **36. And my lock had been cut off and a management lock had been put on. Went to talk to the manager. Yes, we cut the lock off and disposed of the guitars. She said she threw them in the dumpster. And the garabge truck crushed them two days ago! I then asked her who cut the lock. She said her auctioneer cut it off. I asked to talk to him. Crickets. I went back and looked at my agreement for **36. The idiot that found and told me to move into had accidentally written down E027. This number doesn't exist in the entire park. The park is 1000 through 5000 number sequence. I am devastated. My lifes work gone. The manager doesn't have any teeth and behaves like a meth addict. I believe she has a side hustle going on there and they are taking people's property and re selling it. And ironically? I had to rent a 3rd space to put my stuff into. Because I had friends and a rental trailer that needed to be returned in a few hours. I filed a police report today. They said anything found in any locker cannot be owned, sold or destroyed for 30 days. They have broken the law. And a good law abiding citizen like me on a fixed income is financially ruined. Public Storage will take your stuff even when they make a mistake. My guitars were in there for only 6 days. And they took them. Public Storage is scamming people. I will sue this company in civil Court. Im quite sure it will be years before I'm compensated. This manager at the Inver grove heights, MN location has a scam going on. And? Everything is watched by remote cameras. I should be able to look at the footage. If you want to lose your life savings? Rent at Public Storage! When i try to find help higher up than this nasty crooked manager I get caught in phone call limbo. Public Storage shame on you. I thought you were repreable. But you scammed me and now I'm out of $5,000 dollars worth of guitars. Public Storage is a dreadful, specious, nefarious company. Don't put one valuable thing in Storage there. Would recommend using the insurance company through the Extra Space as it has made the reimbursement for damage process seamless and easy. Unfortunate to have things damaged but this is best case scenario. Would recommend this storage unit and would use myself again.

Donated everything to Salvation Army St Paul. Husband became extremely ill eleven years ago. We are in a lovely FL. condo he inherited. MISS Minnesota... people, culture, weather - - LOVE the cold!!!! I now have two brand newly built extra large units at Forest Lake - - grabbed them quickly for they rented out super fast. Great price. New wood pallets on entire floor. Never have water in these units, very high airy ceilings with great ventilation. Yes no heat no air conditioning so no fragile furniture, vinyl, wood, etc, but I put clothing etc in tight giant contractor extra thick plastic bags into tight big Costco ( yellow black) plastic storage boxes ( the Best/ shut very tight). I will be out of a second 30 ft unit at public storage after 1-2 more four week trips. Back breaking work - - am creating a new industry of folk buying my things at Salvation Army then flipping them online! We always expected to be in Mn but the condo's living costs are better than renting today. Goal is to find a solid 1 bedroom in MN, build out to be able to remain until I pass on, rent out FL condo. Reverend Jim the manager is the best, the kindest man you could ever ever find and work with. No bugs no rodents all these years. Immaculate rest room at office, safe secure, no crazies renting ' next door'. Women working there solo feel 100 % safe. High fence with barbed wire surround the large rural country property. We can't say enough good about Tim and the Forest Lake Mini Storage. So very helpful and easy to…read morework with. We moved from out of state, went to the old standby on the north side of town. It was dirty, full of feathers, bird poop, spiders and stunk like motor oil. The door came off the hinges and they had limited access hours. We needed an additional storage unit and found Tim at FL Mini Storage to be super helpful. We ended up liking it so much we talked to Tim about getting a bigger unit. He came through and we moved all our belongings from the other storage facility. Tim was terrific to work with and the units are clean, secure and they offer 24-hour access. We always feel safe, and we appreciated the location is easy to get to. If you need storage for the short, or long term, we highly recommend FL Mini Storage.
