well, my review is not gonna be very positive. I was trying to bless my daughter because she was falling on hard times and had health issues and just delivered a baby so I tried to help her by paying her storage unit for her online with my debit card that I authorized and it tells me what bill is and that's what I paid the very next day. I noticed that they charged me not only $511. They an additional $607.20 that I did not authorize which is . I've them multiple times they refunded me the wrong payment and they still owe me $96 and I've called multiple times I at least 10 times and I'm not phone call no voicemail nothing and every time I call it goes to voicemail so I will be contacting the authorities and filing small claims do not do business with they have no integrity at all. I wouldn't even give them 1 star!!! read more

Even with all the online process to set up rental, and paying in advance, it was STILL a huge hassle. The gate code is impossible to remember, it is so lengthy. So there is an option to use their app on your phone to "unlock all gates and doors." It's almost easier to get out of your car to punch in the gate code. You have to use the code to EXIT as well, no automatic gate. "We are all just prisoners here, of our own device...." Then we come to the storage building. While the app says you can "use it to unlock all gates and doors," it only works on the gate. It would be much easier and cooler if you could actually use the app for everything. The disappointing and frustrating portion of my experience was that the code to enter the hallway (automatically generated with my online rental) was WRONG. So I drove back to the entrance to ask the staff to help me. Locked, dark, no way to find a person to help. It's 10:30 in the morning, totally business hours. No one in the office. I search for the office number, call it. You can leave a message for the property manager so I left a message with my number, said I was in the facility with my things to store, and I needed the code today. A truck was rented, people! It's not free! Went home, tried to find info in my email, on the website, on the app. Called the National office for help. Gave me the same code. "No, tried that, it doesn't work." After a long time on hold, returned with a second code. I said I'd go back later to try, as I had gone to work. The code worked on a DIFFERENT entry door, but not the one to the space I was assigned. Called National again, went through the whole explanation, the whole being put on hold indefinitely, standing in the hot sun by the building, waiting. The associate comes back with a "list of codes from her supervisor" that they want me to "try." I stand there on the asphalt, with the associate on the phone, trying code after code ~ finally the sixth one actually works. They get two stars because the lock was there on my door, the space was not filthy, the lightbulb worked, and the grounds themselves were also spic and span. Just frustrated because what I actually was looking for was accessibility! By the way, you can't go early morning and you can't go evenings. Restrictive hours, even with all the locks and codes. That's a hardship at times, I wish that could be adjusted. At least ONE late night or early morning available. read more

The lady who helped my mom and I with renting the storage unit was friendly and patiently answered all our questions. She made sure the unit was cleaned and that my mom was comfortable with the gate access code and using the lock purchased. We only wished that access to the storage unit had longer operating hours since this location closes at 6pm. Last week I rented a storage at this facility. But for personal reasons, I was unable to put the items I had planned on putting into storage. I came into the storage today and I talked with Ashley. I will tell you that she is an amazing person! Her demeanor and attitude indicates that this facility is very customer centered. I told Ashley that I had recently rented a storage but was unable to put anything into it. She immediately knew my name because she said I was the only storage without a lock. This leads me to believe that their employees are actively watching the premises and making sure everything is in the right order rather then renting out space and not watching them. I told her my situation and she quickly and efficiently remedied it with a pleasant attitude. I would definitely recommend this facility based on the outstanding service I have received from both their employees. If I ever had any more future storage needs, this will be the first place I will come too!!! read more

My complaint concerns Public Storage Corporation.I believe that I have been singled out for raises in my rentals.I do not believe that the raises PSC has placed on my 6 rental units have been uniformly applied at the storage facility. ("A" street facility in Spanaway)I don't know why they have singled me out since I have rented from them for a couple years and have always tried to be a good tenant.I was never informed in writing or in advance verbally for any of the raises.Up until May 2013 I was paying $351 per month.When I came in to pay for June I was charged $376.When I came in to pay July I was charged $411.I called PSC service center to complain and I was told that all of my units would revert back to $351 a month beginning in August 2013, but that I had to pay the full charge for July first.Today, August 5 I went in to pay and was charged $411.Not only have they raised my rentals without notice, they reneged on their action to satisfy a customer requesting a fair shake.I am quite sure that now that I have made a formal complaint that I will be retaliated against by PSC. Maybe they have a problem with me being a senior, or service-connected veteran or some such thing. I am on a fixed income and if I wanted to move it would take me 6 months to save enough money to make a move. PSC knows they have between the rock and hard place.
