Front desk staff were very rude and unprofessional! I rented my unit in July 2024 and since then my rate has gone up $20. Today was considered my "move out" date, upon arrival there was nobody in the office. I called the number a handful of times and no answer and was transferred to another location to leave a message. I needed to pay my balance and the website and the app weren't accepting my payment. By far the worst experience ever!! Will never rent a space with them again!! read more

I chose this rental location because during the pandemic there were a lot of break ins at other locations. There are cameras and a safer location. My space did have an attempted break in but they were unsuccessful. For the BAD HOWEVER, gate access hours END 6pm M-F, 5pm Sat, Sun which is very inconvenient if you can only get access late afternoons. Second, I was moving out and needed to stay past 5pm Sat to finish loading. The Manager, Ashley, told me after 5pm the gate automatically locks and you have to call POLICE to get out and you are considered TRESPASSING! I pay good money as a customer I should NOT be considered a TRESPASSER for being INSIDE the gate at MY PAID SPACE! I lost 24 HOURS on my move because of this!! What the manager neglected to tell me that corporate informed later is there is a 24/hour customer service number that WILL LET YOU OUT! Is there a way to give less than ZERO? PUBLIC STORAGE SUCKS!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! I first rented a space there June 1st, 2022, for $180 a month. They charge a $15 a month insurance when you sign up. I didn't want it but since I signed up online they said I had to cancel it in person in their office. But NOBODY IS EVER IN THEIR OFFICE! So it wasn't until 4 months later I finally caught someone in their office and had to FORCE THEM to let me cancel the insurance. Then 2 weeks later I get a notice in the mail that the monthly rate is going up from $180 to $240!!! And THEY HAVE ADDED THE $15 A MONTH INSURANCE BACK ON!!!! USE ANYBODY ELSE BUT THESE ASSHOLES!!! read more

Facility in bad shape, damaged belongings, management uninterested in helping. My family and I all recently moved from larger houses to small houses or apartments, so we share a large storage unit. When I moved in in December 2017, the lightbulb in the unit was out, so I asked them to replace it (all units are outdoor without outside lighting, so you really need the light in the unit if it's a dark/cloudy day). A section of the cement floor was discolored/abraded, and I asked if there were any water damage issues at the facility, and they said no. When the lightbulb still wasn't fixed a month later (after 2 reminders from me), I bought one to replace it myself, and it turned out the fixture was broken. I put in another work order with management, and inquired about the floor again, which was now growing these white crystals out of it. They said this just happens sometimes, wouldn't hurt anything, and I could buy some plastic to put down if I wanted to. Fast forward 5 months to April 2018, still no light, and half the floor is covered in crystals, which have eaten through my cardboard boxes and caused water damage. I had to throw away irreplaceable family photos, art, work files, etc. and spend my own money getting my stuff moved into a new facility. I was told that the manager I complained to a million times had never recorded any of my work order requests in the system. She had since been asked to leave the company for her poor management, but no attempt was made by current management to help me move or reimburse me for my losses (if you buy insurance you can go to the trouble yourself to make a claim for the losses, but if they are personal items like mine with no receipts you probably won't be compensated). When I did the second move, I visited places all over Fremont, and ALL of them that have outdoor units have a coating painted on the floor to block efflorescence (=the crystals growing out of the floor are lime and other minerals being pushed up thru the cement by water under the cement). Public Storage just leaves the bare floors, so this problem continues. All these guys would have to do to fix this problem is coat their unit floors! My current place is in excellent repair, good customer service, and costs only $7 more than Public Storage, which was quite expensive and increased once in the 5 mo. I was there. They told me their facility used to have this problem with their floors before they opened, but they took the time to treat the floors before opening. There are tons of storage places in this area that are in better repair and the same price or cheaper. If you look at my Yelp review history you'll see I normally only log in here to rave about places that I love...but I had to warn people. Please don't put anything that you care about at Public Storage on Enterprise! read more

The facility is well-kept, bathroom is always super clean, and the pricing and units were perfect for what we needed. Payment is easy, whether made online or in the office. We rented a 10x20 unit after confirming twice that they had access for an 18 wheeler (our moving truck). The truck arrived and couldn't get into the gate because they don't in fact have 18 wheeler access. Not sure if they are going to get us a unit at another facility with 18 wheeler access or whether we're going to have to rent a smaller truck for the movers to bring our stuff to the unit. Either way, it's a hassle and taking us an extra day (at least) to move in. read more

These other people must not have gone to the same place as I did. First they insist on their bogus insurance. My locker was broken into and and a lot of my things stolen. I tried to get reimbursed by that insurance company and the fine print says you have to prove the items were in the storage locker. Who takes pictures of their storage locker? So I was out of luck. I also found out they place a lien on your locker when you first move in. What a racket. Then due to circumstances beyond my control I fell a little behind and they won't even take partial payments until you can catch up they want the full amount. Well they stole everything I have ever owned in my life and sold it for 235.00. All the sentimental things I owned from people that have passed away and all the things my kids made in school, etc etc etc. If I sound bitter I am. This is the only place I know that doesn't work with people having a hard time. So if you deal with this company you better make sure your circumstances don't change or lose everything. read more

The concrete floors are cracking and have this white powder that gets on everything. They give you a plastic cover to put on the floor. But be careful not to get the white powder all over. read more

I have been a customer at this location for several years. I have never had a bad experience with this place and have always been satisfied with everything. What prompted me to write this review is that recently they changed management and a delightful, professional, hardworking young woman by the name of Ashley took over running the place. She is perfect for the job and I hope they know what a jewel they have in her. The bathroom is always clean because she takes care of it personally and she never says no to taking care of any problem that may come up.
