Was not pleased with this location, do NOT recommend. Made the reservation and also did the express check online ahead of time hoping for an easy/quick process when I arrived. Let's get a list going of what was wrong: 1.) Employee arrived LATE to work that morning I was there before 9:30am, she was NOT. 2.) The website let me reserve a 5' by 5' that should have been advertised as a LOCKER, apparently. 3.) Instead was told to go to a nearby location that had the unit/price I needed and she would phone ahead to get me through quickly. Come to find out she did NOT do this, instead she just changed my order in the system to a 4'x12'. The other location had no idea who I was when I arrived. 4.) Needless to say, I was NOT happy at this next location. What should have taken less than 30 minutes took almost 2 hours that morning. Don't get me wrong, I have used a different Public Storage in Bellaire without ANY problems, just this location grinded my gears. Would not recommend. read more

Public Storage raised my rates multiple times while I was serving on active duty in the Marines, and it is raising my rates again as a recently separated veteran. I live over 1000 miles away, and I am unable to move out of the storage unit. If it was just furniture I would sell it, but the unit contains sentimental personal belongings that I inherited from my mother when she passed away. I called to have my rate adjusted to the current market rate, but the staff was dismissive, rude, and unhelpful. I would recommend other businesses for your storage needs, I will not consider Public Storage again, and I will be gone as soon as I can move out. read more

I randomly signed up for this locatin online and immediately recieved a confirmation call from Ingrid and I also setup an appointment. My appointment was quick and clean cut. She went over all of the details and walked me to my unit. I also ended up purchasing a few boxes as they were on sale. Overall a pretty good experience so far. The property is clean and quiet. I would not recommend renting from Public storage. They offer you an initial low rate and three months later increase your rate by more than 25%. I was told they have the right to increase the rates anytime and you could move out if you don't like it. Who can afford to keep moving in and out of a storage unit. The property manager was nice and tried to get the district manager to agree to keeping my rate the same but he declined. Be aware!! read more

My things are always well taken care of, never broken, never missing like at previous storages! The employees are always helpful and even if I'm a little late they'll stay just to help me out! Public Storage is a great store!!! I was completely satisfied with the staff and impressed by their professionalism!

After 1 year at this location, my unit plus 5 others were robbed on the same day. I am the one who actually noticed that the unit had been robbed! My unit had nothing left in it whatsoever and the property manager (Keisha) could absolutely have cared less. I overheard her on the phone with the property owner and the owner was more concerned about getting his doors fixed that had been broken into rather than addressing his customers or the robbery. There is only a video camera watching cars entering and leaving with no cameras down any of the isles. Keisha was unable to identify which vehicle entering the facility was involved in the theft. ANYONE with an access code can come in, pull down an isle and rob units completely unseen. This is a fair warning to anyone considering putting ANY valuable goods at this storage facility as it is not secure. I will not make this mistake again and I do not recommend you store anything at this location. read more

I have no concerns about the service received from the agents on the property. My concern is with the fact that there is a security issue on this site. Public Storage markets the locks they sell quite strenuously, emphasizing that they are some of the best on the market and almost impenetrable. They only allow the type of lock they sell and possibly one other type. My experience was that my unit was entered and my television stolen without the lock being damaged. The unit was still locked when I discovered the theft. Whoever entered the unit, neatly folded back the quilt covering it and locked the unit up after removing it. Nothing else appeared to be out of place. This causes me to feel that there was no sense of haste. Why are the doors to the building and the hallways always open? I have never had to use my code. Why are there no cameras in the hallways? Public Storage claims they provide safety for your possessions but not for me. And my experience is not an isolated incident at this location. ADDITIONALLY, I will not be compensated for my loss because the insurance they offer does not cover THEFT! There was no evidence of forced entry, yet my television is gone and it's just my loss although I paid for secure storage and insurance every month. Public Storage is aware that there is a problem with thefts getting into units without damaging the locks but I have not heard of any action being taken to address the issue. Very, very disappointed. read more
