1. Before I rented a space, I told the manager I needed a space with a light. She picked out a space with a light. But on move-in day, it didn't work. She promised it would be fixed quickly. I complained to her numerous times; I talked to District managers several times; I called corporate several times. It never got fixed. This limited my access time significantly. 2. The rent increases are ridiculous. It's like they want to push tenants out. They raised the rent $60/month, then 3 months later raised it another $60/month. So in less than 2 years, it went from $240/month to $360/month. 3. It's a filthy facility with homeless all over the place and some living inside units. The bathroom is constantly out of order, and when it works, you might find homeless bathing in it. Never, never again with PS. read more

Unfortunately we have to use this place bc we have nowhere else to have storage. After our unit being broken in there was no remorse or attempts at rectifying the matter or making us feel better. Furthermore they informed us the camera directly facing our unit WAS working, only to discover from the investigation done by police, that only the cameras at the entrance and exit were recording. They said they do daily patrols, but definitely indicated later that the daily walk abouts were more than likely sporadic...so who knows how long our unit was left vulnerable. They get on you about making sure you key in and out, but don't hold their own employees accountable for insuring that our units are safe? If you have other choices, choose them, this place is the worst. read more

I went on line and reserved a storage unit, paid up front and then realized that it was across town and too far. I called the night before I was to move in and the gentlemen told me I needed to call their hotline. They were closed so I called the next morning. I was told that I would not be refunded any of my money because I had rented the unit. I think this practice borders on fraud, I paid for something I never used I understood I wouldn't be refunded the full amount and they would keep the administrative fees, but keeping money for services I never received is unacceptable. read more

I was dragged into domestic dispute recently again by an unstable woman with all her windows broken out of her car including the windshield and the cops over there twice a week somehow district manager thought that would be a good time to give me a warning. Called me BITCHING?? I'm over here snapping photos of Furniture I'm storing unloading my truck as usual!! minding my own business!! I don't even know these people!! they are half a block away!! in the next building!! yelling at me trying to get me involved in their domestic dispute!! They have all their windows fucking broken out of their car!! couple days ago another nut bag has been renting there as of recently likes to speed past me in his junk removal truck pretending like he's going to hit me or run me over well this time he ran over the couch I was unloading then got out and threatened to kill me and my service dog. I think he got it in his mind that I was a bad person because I pulled up to the gate and dialed in GPS coordinates before putting in my gate code it's his responsibility to put in his own fucking gate code and I wasn't blocking the gate he could've easily passed me from then on he fucked with me every single day every time he saw me which was at least a couple times a day. The douche manager terminates my lease they really know how to treat the victims over here never rent from these people!!! that is only a few occurrences in a string over the years.. I could write a fucking screenplay they also don't maintain broken shit they leave it broken for years and years or weeks & weeks if you complain about it they find a reason Make it your problem not theirs and they're always happy to throw the rule book in your face. Based on the reviews I found on Yelp, I decided to visit this Public Storage to make sure it was what I was looking for. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS FACILITY AT ALL COST. The manager was very rude and starting yelling at me for not answering my phone regardless of her several phone calls, even after I explained I was at work. Regardless, I decided to go in and see if the facility was in good condition AND THE SMELL AND UNBEARABLE. Apparently, they have a pop corn factory storing products, but it smells like rotten cheese in there. You can get a better storage option at a lower price close by. This is the WORST location in Las Vee to her agas due to the RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL manager Chanti. If you perform due diligence you will find that the majority of new hires transferred to other locations due to her attitude. Please take dive past this location and go to the location in Henderson, on Boulder, the level of professionalism, friendliness, ACCURATE BILLING,etc is in line with normal business practices. If anyone has had their storage units sold and or auctioned off, please contact me as I am speaking with an attorney regarding a lawsuit. By far one of the biggest scam I've deal with in my life time here in Las Vegas. I kept asking for a year to change to a smaller unit since I didn't need it all the space anymore. Not only they kept giving me the run around ignoring your request to downsize (making me pay every month the amount for the big size) I would go to the website and see they have open units, yet they were telling me once there to wait for their call. Instead they wait enough to make me be late and force me to pay again for the bigger unit. Once I got sick of their games I gave them the 30 days notice empty the unit and drop the keys at their mailbox. Now they're calling again threading to put yet one last payment in to collections for not giving the key to the person in the office (of didn't want to talk to me with the excuse of lunch time when I showed up with the U-Haul truck to move my stuff out). Be aware of this location they manage it to screw you out of money. I'm sure their company are ok with it, since they won't event give me the option to talk to anyone else but the one running the scam. read more

This was my first experience renting a storage unit. I was skeptical at first and afraid of being taken advantage of but Mie'Shawn reassured us that we were making the right decision. I was blown away from my conversation over the phone to go over our appointment time. she was very pleasant, and knowledgeable. Have been a customer for almost 2 years. Facility is well-maintained inside and out. Have had units in Calif and the service has been lacking, hallways strewn with rubbish and abandoned property and customer service was non-existent. This location has offered the best customer service and its been mostly due to Hilde and some of the other girls. Hilde gets customer service, is always monitoring the property and keep customers happy and well-served. I don't know what you pay her, but being in mgmt for 20+ years, you do not want to ever lose someone like her. Genuine service-directed employees are hard enough to find - only so much can be trained, the rest, is the natural personality of the employee. I hope Monique becomes as valuable as Hilde and will be if she emulates Hilde. An aside, I hope PS does not adopt a dynamic pricing business model. Your longer term customers are your core revenue stream. Price schemes aside, your employees ARE your company - the only differentiator in the business world.
