I purchased quite a bit of packing supplies at this location, never was i told that i could not return any un-used - still wrapped in the container i purchased in. I go in today, to return two (2) Easy Pack for Dishes and a rude and nasty man asked what I needed, I said I would like to return these 2 items and he states, YOU CAN RETURN THEM. First i was never told that when i purchased the items, secondly no where in the stores does it state that. The person at the desk said that the previous rental had not returned it Event assumed because I was late picking it up that I wasn't coming either. The staff is extremely nice. I love the girl that works at the location on Decatur and Spring Mountain. She is so friendly and deserves a 5 star review. The only thing that I do not like about this particular location is that it is quite expensive for a 10 x 10 ( $150 ), and I was told to get a discount as long as the corona virus was still here , but after the extra month added for that ( along with the first 2 months that were discounted), the manager who promised me the discount told me it was no longer valid. I will be going to a different place because of the price. On another note , the great thing about this storage place and location is that there 10 x 10 units are a lot bigger then most storages around. Upon checking out other storage places , and noticing that they differ in actual sizes , claiming they are the same size , that they aren't . This is the biggest out of all of the ones that I checked , that measures the closest to the size described. That is the main reason I chose this place. The place is clean and features the cylinder lock which is already installed in the unit, as far as the inside units are concerned. I am not sure about the outside units , but they are probably the same. One thing , which may be worth a mention, though , is that when I first moved in there , a woman across from me told me that there were 2 flat screen televisions missing from her unit, and I suspected maybe someone was going in my unit while I wasn't there. I put something up that would tell me if someone was going in my unit , and it was gone when I came back the next day . That should be enough to tell me that someone was - as I seem to be missing little things, which somehow just disappeared and I never found. Also, I had put the lock a certain way one time and came back the next day , and it was turned the other way. So the facts are - the set up that I set up was gone, and my lock was turned another way. So whether or not someone is getting in there while I'm not there , the facts remain facts. I would not count those against choosing this place , though. It is not highly likely that will happen to you. Good luck in choosing storage units. By the way , if size and price are a factor to you - The next place or first place I would recommend is Sheild Storage on Craig and Simmons. It is not as clean , but it is not bad. It is only $100 for a 10 x 10 and they also are more close to the size then the others. I would still be there if I had not got in trouble for having to sleep in my unit with my cat one night. (I had no place to go that night and it was my only option at the time.) read more

I've had a unit at this storage unit since May of 2019, and I couldn't be more pleased. The grounds are always immaculate and the environment is one of safety. Todd and Jim are excellent, excellent managers of this facility, who go above and beyond to assist their renters. For example, last Thursday, as I was leaving the property, I got a flat tire. As I went about trying to change it, the time passed for me to get out of the front gate, which is automatically locked at 9pm. Enter Todd. Todd and I worked endlessly to get the tire off, but it just wasn't happening. A friend of mine also came and tried, but still, we could not get the tire off. The first act of kindness was Todd offering me to park my car behind his overnight until I could get the car towed, or get some help. Realizing that I really didn't want to leave my car, Todd went to work again trying to find tools to get the tire off because my tire iron just wasn't getting it!!! After giving it our best, Todd suggested that he could go ask one of the neighbors for help, and he did. Fifteen minutes later, he was back with a young man who had a bag of auto tools, but none worked, so he and Todd left again, and fifteen minutes later they were back with a tire iron that worked!!! The young man got the tire off and put my spare on, which just made my night!!! It was now after midnight and Todd had stayed with me during this entire hectic episode, and I truly appreciated his uplifting attitude and smiling face!!! The very next day, I went back to the facility to let them know that I had emptied out the smaller storage I had, and put everything in the large one I have. Jim looked at my accounts and saw that he could credit me $15 for the time I still had left on the smaller storage, and he applied it to my large one!!! Todd took control in what could have been a horrible situation for me, and I am so grateful for his help because my story could have had a completely different ending!!! I'm sure he went above and beyond what his job description states!!! First off, I rarely take the time to write reviews for anywhere. Second, I have never taken the time to write such a lengthy one. (That should say a lot.) I called two places while I was searching for a U-Haul associated storage unit near my apartment. The first place I called, that I found by typing U-Haul into my phones map app, seemed fine, nothing special. It would do the trick, but when I went on the U-Haul site to get some information I forgot to ask about, that location did not pop up as one of their options. That was a little strange. So I decided it was best to call the next location, on the U-Haul site, closest to my apartments. The moment my call was answered I received some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. The man (Lee) listened to what I was looking for and was able to give me straight forward answers. Even while he was looking up available units and prices/deals, he took the time to example how this facility worked. From the gate system and hours, to the alarm system, the air conditioned units, management living on site, and letting me know I could come check it out to get a better idea of the location. I knew I would not have to call anymore locations. The next day when I went into the office to rent a unit, I lucked out because the same man (Lee) who answered the phone was working! As soon as I walked in I was greeted cheerfully, NOT brushed off like a lot of places do, even though he was working with another customer. When he was done politely talking to that customer, which also showed me he was not just being fake to the stranger who walked in the door (me), he promptly attended to me. Again he listened to what I was looking for, then offered to show me the two different sizes of units I was considering. Had a very friendly conversation on the walk over to the in-door units, saw both, explained the pricing difference between the two and I made my pick. Easy. We went back to the office to fill out and go over the paper work, forfeit my mula over, and breakdown that final steps of how the lock and gate worked. I called my mom right away and told her about how wonderful Lee's service was! Yes, I am obviously overjoyed about Lee's natural, perfect attitude and service! He was great! Stay golden Lee! I also want to add that Lee's awesome attitude was not a way to overcompensate for the state of the facilities. I have been to many places where the service is great, but the actual location is trash. As if people think being extra nice is going to make up for the fact the place is old, overpriced and crawling with bugs. This is definitely NOT the case with this StorageOne location. Everything is kept very well maintained. Outside is kept very clean, along with the building with indoor units and the units themselves. There were no weird smells and no bugs! Since I have been apartment hunting for the past couple weeks, I know the drill of showing the nicest, cleanest, most updated model to trick potential residents to thinking they are getting the most amazing deal ever. But when you actually get the keys to your actual apartment, the place looks like a creepy motel room. Not the case with StorageOne. The unit that Lee showed me and opened up so I could get an idea on the size, was the EXACT unit he rented me. Thank you again Lee! Anyone who doesn't go here is definitely missing out! read more
