    They were very user-friendly. No contact entry. Door and hardware is a little old so you may need help lifting it up.

My concerns don't stem from a minor customer service issue. They stem from how Cubix handled the aftermath of a burglary at one of its managed facilities where my property was stolen. As a disabled veteran, many of the items I stored were not simply replaceable household goods. Among the property taken were military awards, memorabilia, service-related keepsakes, and personal belongings collected over years of military service. Some of these items had been with me through multiple duty assignments and major chapters of my life. They carried sentimental value that cannot be measured in dollars and cannot simply be replaced with an insurance payment. After the theft, I spent months attempting to obtain basic information, including insurance contacts, ownership information, preservation of video footage and access logs, and a clear explanation of what happened. The process was frustratingly slow, communication was inconsistent, and getting straightforward answers proved far more difficult than it should have been. The facility advertised security cameras and surveillance. After the burglary, I was informed by the property manager that the camera covering the area of my unit was not functioning or connected to Wi-Fi. Learning that after my property had already been stolen was deeply concerning. I also learned that there had been another break-in in the same area of the facility just days before my unit was burglarized. That raised obvious questions about what additional precautions, inspections, or security checks were performed afterward and whether the advertised daily walkthroughs were actually occurring as represented. What was most disappointing was the lack of urgency and accountability after a customer suffered a significant loss. A theft is stressful enough. Customers should not have to spend months chasing information that should be readily available after an incident, especially when the stolen property includes items that are impossible to replace. In the end, after months of follow-up, the only resolution offered was roughly three months of free rent. While I appreciated that some offer was eventually made, it amounted to very little compared to the value of the property that was stolen and the time spent trying to obtain answers. Rather than providing confidence that the matter had been taken seriously, the offer felt more like an acknowledgment that something had gone wrong without any meaningful effort to make it right. The message I was left with was simple: the loss was significant, but the response was minimal. As a result, I have been forced to pursue the matter in small claims court. If you're considering renting at a Cubix-managed facility, I would recommend asking the following questions before signing a lease: * Who handles theft and loss claims? * How can tenants obtain insurance information if property is stolen? * What procedures exist to preserve surveillance footage and access records? * Are all advertised security cameras actually functioning and connected? * What steps are taken when there is a reported break-in at the facility? * How quickly are customer complaints escalated and resolved? * Who has authority to make decisions when a serious issue arises? I can only speak from my own experience, but based on that experience, I would think carefully before storing anything you would be upset to lose. Renting the unit was easy. Getting answers after a burglary was not. Anyone considering a Cubix-managed facility should spend as much time asking about theft claims, surveillance systems, and incident response as they do comparing rental rates. Those details may not seem important until the day you actually need them.

Our company has been a loyal client of Extra Space--now Secure Space--for over a decade. However, the treatment my staff has received in just one month under the new ownership is the reason we're moving to a more customer-focused provider. Store Manager Emmanuel Balagot made it clear that customer service is not a priority. His lack of professionalism and unwillingness to work with us is unacceptable. When we paid our monthly invoice using the previous company's name, Secure Space locked us out because they couldn't process the check. How is that our fault? This delay put us behind for a month while we reconciled the payment. One payment issue--caused by Secure Space--was enough for them to deny us access. Good luck to everyone and remember there are other storage companies that truly value their customers. Beware of management!

    Hello fellow movers just a word of caution regarding this location unless you dont mind being…read moretreated like you are a piece of trash blowing through their yard... Customer service here at this location is the worst I have ever seen out of any U-Haul center I have ever been to... If could rate lower than a 1 star.... I certainly would. Due the recent passing of a close family member we were tasked with furniture and miscellaneous clean up and with the need of a larger vehicle; a small U-Haul cargo box truck was the perfect solution. Upon arrival at the facility, all the parking spots were taken except for one which was too small for our vehicle. Since we were only going to be a few minutes to pick up our truck; we decided to park in front of one of the U'Haul vans real quick to run in and grab our keys. Before I could press the button on the remote to lock the car; some big bald guy came running out of the store front yelling at us in front of other customers "Hey! You can't park there! You need to move your vehicle NOW and not park in front of that U-Haul van!" Im pretty thick skinned but when customer service is not your thing, YOU sir should not be a customer facing employee talking to your customers like that seeing is that we pay for your paycheck. If you hate your job that much or if it stresses you out that much, go find another one... Simple fix. The young lady at the counter was very pleasant with us and actually treated us like customers but AGREED with us by saying "yeah, he is a little rough" when we were expressing our concerns about how he treats customers and how absolutely rude and ridiculous he was... A little rough? The van we got had a 124,000+ miles on it... smelled like death and the gas mileage was horrible, we drove less than 10 miles and used 1/4 tank of fuel....Crazy! Needless to say, we will not be back to this location. We will give our business to Home Depot next time we are in the need of a trailer or truck. Trucks are are a little more but trailers are by far a much cheaper rental with better customer service. You'll thank me later.

I especially appreciate the extra help I recieved from Isaiah who helped me unhitch the heavy trailer in the dark.
