I'm doubting some of the other reviews regarding this Public Storage. I organize and document items in my son's three different units in one of the climate-controlled buildings. My son travels the world and stores artwork and objects he's gathered over the years. He also moved from a large residential home into a downtown condo, so he stores furniture at the facility. Whenever I show up to check his storage units, the items are in the same condition as the day they were put into storage. I've never seen the homeless living in units, rats, or litter. My son has used this Public Storage facility since 2014. I've worked with Stephanie and she's been very helpful. Stephanie has been attentative to our needs (my son and I). I would recommend this Public Storage facility. p.s. I've spent many afternoons and evenings over long periods of time, taking inventory / rearranging, and organizing items...so I've had the opportunity to catch sight of abnormalities. I've never witness anything negative. I originally was going to write a review about Stephanie, but when I saw some of the other posts...I had to write about the facility. Veronica was amazing when I got there. There was no one on property. She was there within two minutes. She did not waste no time with me and she got right to the point my type of girl she did a wonderful job and I will highly recommend this place to all my friends because of her. read more

Absolutely infested with rats and destroyed everything we own. We had purchased public storage's renter's insurance policy with a 5K limit. However, in the fine print, there is a 250.00 coverage limit on the unit. Doesn't matter if you're insured, if vermin are involved, they are specifically included for anything more. The roof of the unit was torn open, with insulation pulled and made into rats nests. Furniture was gnawed on. Rats were in various stages of dead, one fresh, others mummified. Urine and feces caked on every surface and inside every box, and we have ZERO legal recourse even after diligently paying their 15/month insurance plan. read more

Unexpectedly my daughter died in 2020 leaving 2 small children. I lived in another County. I placed her belongings into this storage facility for her children lead by misrep. and began with a $70 charge a month. Over time that unit, became hostage to the facility knowing they could increase rent until I lost my only childs possessions. And her children lost her belongings. I did put up a fight, and stopped the inexcusable increases for a short time, WITH the assurance from the Headquarters it would remain at $138 a month, double what new renters pay. The President of the company then thumbed his nose at his agreement because he feared me going to the Senate to enact legislation, when he felt he could get by with it again. (I have the contact by the Corp office of the agreement) Living on fixed income, the longer you use their services the less likely you can escape their insane charges. Today, the bill rose to almost $170 a month for a $70 dollar unit. I will now carry out letters to the Senators and House of the insane destruction Public Storage is allowed to commit against the community, the Small Business Man, and families. I had been a Public Storage's customer since December 20th, 2020. Great space, clean, easy access, are secured. I rented a second unit online from this facility yesterday and it was a breeze. Everything went well and when I got to my unit it was ready and clean. Leo was very helpful in keeping my property locked and secure. read more

Rented a unit for about 9 months. The unit was supposed to be climate controlled to below 80 degrees. Every time I went in there it was hot. Doors are poorly placed and in the way when moving. The concrete floor doesn't smoothly transition for ease of using dollys. The staff is rude and does not explain the paperwork properly and will argue with you very quickly. I would not recommend or go back. read more

I signed up for this unit when I moved out of country becasue it was affordable and close to my friends handling my affairs stateside. Then the rate went up. About 6 times without notice. It's now about $15 more than when I signed up for it and becasue I'm not there in person to cancel it, I have to keep it. The staff is less than helpful and those that I've spoken with have not been knowledgeable at all. They are concerned with the sale and giving you nonsense about the increases being normal. Though when I rented there, they claimed rates did not fluctuate much if at all. This place is good for a month or two at most. I am really annoyed that my belongings are stuck there until I can get back in the city. read more

Don't rent here, there are homeless people that live in the units and they don't want you to know that so they won't let you in after 9. I have on 2 occasions found passed out people in the gutter and had to call 911 as I thought they were dead bodies. Rates fluctuate and their payment system charges you more money if you don't pay in person. There's trash everywhere none of the lights work so you can't see what your doing once 6:30 rolls around. I hear rats or possums in the walls and the ceiling leaks so you get rust on metal. The call in system is automated so the people at the desk can do nothing to help you and they won't even let you use their trash (hence trash everywhere) oh yeah their payment system is buggy so you'll be paying a late fee every other month. Your stuff would be better off in a dumpster turned upside down on the side of the road. It's also worth mentioning that the Public Storage Cooperation has been posting phony reviews that rate 5 stars. Over 34 reviews have been removed from some locations. That kind of policy will tell you a thing or two about this place. read more
