Day of pickup at 10am I went to this location and it wasn't too busy, so I was set up quickly with my 15' truck. Got my keys, checked off some things on the Phone App like mileage, fuel level, cleanliness, etc.. .. and I drove onward into the sunset!

I needed my SUV for errands. They said they were still looking at it so I told them don't fix it and I'll pick it up. I ubered back and the manager said I owed $20 or i wasn't getting my keys back. I asked the manager what the $20 was for and he said labor. I wasn't happy and asked him to explain and an employee yelled at me from a side room saying something like I did the wiring myself and screwed everything up. I asked him who he was and he kept complaining about the the wiring and the manager let him. With him coming out of the back room and toward me, I thought it was going to get physical. After a minute or two with the manager enjoying the show, he finally called off his employee and got back to excuses. I paid the $21.00 on my card and left. I checked the wiring on my suv outside and they had pulled it apart. That was not needed as I asked for an estimate first. I at least had one trailer light working when I got there, now I had none. The power cut out at the beginning of…read moreour second month and after 3 1/2 weeks of me calling over and over saying the unit is pointless without being able to power things inside, I found another place to move to. They just kept saying that they don't control the electricians. Who else does? They wanted me to run long extension cords outside and across the lot leaving the "secure", locked doors open, exposing everyone's equipment to outsiders. People are living in their units. There are people drinking and partying and sleeping in outdoor units every time I go there. Unsafe and dirty. Only cool thing is they allow music but there are too many bands and the noise makes it too difficult to be productive. There are some awesome people who rent here though. If they would have been good business people they would have provided me a refund like I requested at least 3 times.

I have lost over $2000 in sales this week alone don't no access. When I try to contact corporate it's impossible. Then the owner approaches me with a high disrespectful tone and might I add he is very lucky with me because I am not in the mood but this could have gotten worse. Just so you know this will be made public. I will reach out to the local news about what's going here. Also on how customers are being treated! I am absolutely outraged on how I was treated and they didn't care provide any solution whatsoever. I have a major follow on all social media platforms with multiple accounts and this will be known.

I've had my storage unit at Personal Mini Storage on Forsyth for over ten years. Never any…read moreproblems, always liked the place (though to be fair, I live in California so I don't get out to the unit that often.) This weekend, I went to repack everything for movers to bring it out to me in San Francisco. (Everything had been packed for storage and accessibility - not for a long distance move). I had a mattress and box springs in there - they'd been in storage for ten years, in the Florida humidity, there was evidence of roaches in the unit (no fault of PMS - this is Florida we're talking about) - but I have no use for this mattress. I was trying to remove it to dispose of it but we were struck with a horrendous thunderstorm that persisted late into the night. I needed to get to the airport, waited as long as I could. Earlier in the day I had spoken to the lady in the office and she'd said if they had to dispose of the mattress it would be a $50 fine. That if I put it in their dumpster that they'd get hit with a $50 fine, or they would have to call a guy to take it away and that would cost $50 and she'd have to fine me. Ok, I thought, I tried - but in sideways rain, I can't very well tie this thing to the top of my car now, can I? So I sent an email, profusely apologized and explained that I got caught in the rain and couldn't do it - please bill me for whatever penalties, tack on an extra month of rent, whatever, I understand this is an inconvenience. When my movers showed up the next day, she went out and harassed them, demanded they take it, and then when they called me to see what they should do, she got on the phone with me and told me she didn't have anywhere to put it and no way to get rid of it and they had to take it. She was positively apoplectic over it. Now - this is the same woman who a day before said it would be $50. If I have to pay to have it moved to SF, and then have to pay to have it disposed of here, that thing's gonna cost me $500 to be rid of it. Minimum. I was basically offering her $200 to keep me from having to do that. I've got to believe she's just hurting inside to be that irate over this. She had even presented the alternative herself - it seemed inconvenient but hardly insurmountable. Hardly the sort of thing to yell at me on the phone over and harass my mover, after my advance apology and offer to pay whatever she needed to make it right. Thankfully, my mover offered to take it for me for $50 and dispose of it. So I guess she's out the "a-hole tax" I had been willing to pay for messing up. I'd have left this place a 5-Star review except that there are clearly some emotional issues in the office that have no place in a business. Would not do business with them again.
