I chose to store at this location as it was offering me the best rates and very near to my location. Maribeth is very helpful, she made sure of what we are storing and how much space we might need. She got us even a good deal on a storage unit when we wanted to upgrade after realizing the unit we reserved is not big enough for our purpose. Note that insurance is not included and you have to use your own lock (they try to sell theirs for $20 which is fine too). Overall nice and affordable. read more

Please don't go here!!! Although prices are competitive please do not store anything here! I got my entire storage unit robbed with $8k worth of stuff which was only intended to be stored for a month while signing the new lease of my apartment. None of the workers cared, they weren't helpful and the cops told me that this happens often. The main manger Marybeth, does not care what happens to your stuff and neither do her lazy workers. They refused to look at the footage and did not act until I told them I was calling the cops. The unit next to mine was also broken in to. Please save yourself a headache, money, and sentiment memories of items. I truly regret not doing research before because I lost everything I owned. read more

The whole facility feels sketchy. The so-called "security guards" don't even look like real security and do nothing to make you feel safe. The office hours are terrible, and it's nearly impossible to reach anyone when you need help. Customer service is unprofessional and unresponsive. After my dad passed away I had a terrible time working with this outfit. They wouldn't wave late payment fees even after I presented a death certificate and explained why my father missed a payment deadline. As you might imagine it can be hard to pull together all the loose ends when a loved one dies. My father had been doing business with them for 13+ years and likely had never been late before. Know who you do business with and how they choose to treat their customers during difficult times. I had much better experiences with a few other local storage unit locations my father had been using as they understood that this was a challenging time and that they valued my father's business over the many years. In the end I asked for a call from the local manager/owner to discuss my situation even after I cleared everything out of the storage unit, never got a call. Not surprised. All I can say is wow!! Not only is this place extremely overpriced. I pay over $200 for a tiny 5 x 10 unit every month. That's not even the primary issue here... The woman who works in the office is one of the rudest people I have dealt with, since I can remember! She always has a bad attitude and is nasty. But unfortunately today I had a complete run in with this nasty, rude woman. In the past I have asked her simple questions such as do they have Wi-Fi when my cell service was bad and I was trying to get an Uber to get back to my hotel after flying for 12 hours to get into town. She flat out told me no but I cannot use the Wi-Fi and I had to proceed to walk half a mile literally down the road before I had service to get an Uber. She absolutely could have let me but just chose to be nasty and tell me no because I don't know../ power trip maybe? Fast forward to the incident today... I ended up selling a flatscreen TV that I had posted on offer up for sale. Again, I don't live in town, so I told the potential buyer to meet me at the storage unit so they could look at and purchase the TV. They arrived, and I proceeded to carry the TV to meet them upfront. They asked me if there was any way, we could potentially plug it in quickly, just to make sure it would power on and was in working condition. I spotted an outlet outside of the main office building, and we proceeded to plug it into every outlet only for it to not work, of course. I knew the TV was working so I opened the office door and asked this pleasant awesome doll of a woman (not) if I could quickly use the power outlet located on the floor inside the office (no weren't even close to her, just an isolated outlet on the wall of the office out in the wide-open, not in any way, shape or form a bother to her), and she proceeded to throw her hand up in my face and ignore me because apparently she was on the phone, which I did not see right away. Figuring it wouldn't be a problem because honestly who the hell would have a problem with something like this?? I told my buyers to come in the office quickly, so we could literally just stick the plug in the outlet and turn the TV on for half a second to make sure I powered on. They followed me and I still had one foot out of the office, and the buyer proceeded to stick the plug into the outlet which caused this woman to lose her shit. She started screaming at me. How dare I do that?? And I said, are you kidding me? I said I need to see if the TV works for half a second what is the problem? And she screamed at me no no and told me to unplug it immediately and get out of there. First of all, I wouldn't have walked into "her office" needing to use the outlet if the damn facility outlet worked in the first place! For the price I pay, I would expect at least that! She then yelled how dare I walk into "her office" and plug something into a wall nowhere near her not disturbing anything for half a second. She did this in front of the people buying the TV. We were all standing there in shock. I could not believe how nasty and weird she was freaking out like that! She had no shame. I told her I pay plenty of money a month for her to be as rude as she was and I could not understand what the heck the problem was with what I was doing. She proceeded to tell me that I was rude and how dare I lol. I literally ignored her and told the people that were buying the TV they it works. And asked if they were happy with it and they proceeded to walk outside with me and by the damn TV. She was still talking shit when I walked out the door. This is absolutely unacceptable!! I didn't know she owned the place and that it was "her office" and how dare I walk in and plug in an appliance for half a second that is across the damn room from her lol. Again, not disturbing anything other than apparently, this woman. She has always been mean and nasty. Any time I have ever walked by her and smiled at her. She just scowls at me in return. Definite chip on her shoulder and I am still in shock about what just ensued with her shamelessly screaming at me in front of people I don't know that were trying to buy a freaking television set from me. So yeah, if you want to pay a ridiculously high amount of money every month to store your stuff at a place where the crazy bitch at the office is going to scream at you and just be a general asshole, then come on down and put your stuff here! We were sold an undersized room, and up-sold many additions. (Including insurance which was described as mandatory) There was miscommunication on how the alleged mandatory insurance worked, and they only mentioned a convenient auto-pay feature after we refused to pay an additional month's rent on day 1. The unit measured to precisely 4'8" x 7'5". (see attached photos) We paid for 5' x 8'. If you're careful, you may note the "approximately" decorator in the attached screenshot of our contract. Unit size: - We instantly suspected the room was smaller than 5' x 8'. When we asked the on-premise manager if he could measure it, he said that he did not have measuring tape. (doubtful) - The manager mentioned that there were other units listed as 5' x 7' 6", and told us that the unit we were renting was specifically 5' x 8'. Therefore, this unit is much closer to (but still smaller than) the already noted 5' x 7'6" units. - The contract has an as-is clause that says the renter is accepting the unit as-is, regardless of the actual size of the room. How convenient. - Upon returning to the property to measure the unit, I asked the (different) manager what the policy was for having rented units advertised under an incorrect size. She said that all measurements are "approximations". Insurance: - We were informed that insurance is required - The agent said that they provide insurance through another company (reading between the lines, you can probably take care of insurance yourself, but at this price why bother?) so we paid for that - The manager incorrectly asserted that there is 0 deductible, but a flier in the office mentioned a $100 deductible read more

They called twice to confirm the time we were coming to put our stuff in the unit. They didn't communicate correctly so the second call had a different time than I wanted. Then, day of rental, they called to say our unit had been rented to someone else and they could give us a more expensive one upstairs. I had already rented and loaded a truck so what am I supposed to do? This is really horrible bait and switch. read more

UPDATE: the rent goes up every 6 months. I was paying $88 a month, now they bumped it up to $108 a month. First month is not $1. It has a $24 administration fee plus insurance fee plus lock fee. The total was about $77 something for the first month. In addition, watch out for the merchandises the employees tried to add to your receipt. The lady (manager) sneakily try to add a clear cover for dust for $9.50 to my order. I told her I do not wish to buy it, and she still charged me, told me to return it later. And when I did try to return it later, she told me there is a 30 days return policy. This is a very scummy practice. read more

Terrible. Simply terrible. Unfortunately, I can't change locations because I'm out of the country and my stuff is already in a unit. However, given the choice, I would never choose Public Storage at this location again. I was assigned the wrong unit and it has been a mess ever since. I have since resigned the contract but have been overcharged and not refunded. It has been 4 months. Pretty ridiculous way to run a business. The last thing you want to worry about while living abroad is your storage unit and unfortunately, that is exactly what they have done. I mean, Maribeth is nice enough but when I first got my unit, she upsold me a "cover" (basically a plastic tarp) and the customized lock (an additional $30 extra for not that much added value). Being in sales, I could have overlooked this tactic but given the way she handled my unit after her own mistake, it just makes for an overall terrible experience. read more

I have had many storage units in the past. The management here leaves a lot to be desired. I reserved a unit based on the fact it had 24hr access. The unit is outside of the gates in a separate building. My boyfriend is also on the lease w/permission to access the unit. First she told him he could not park on the public street right there. He told her he had storage there and she told him it was "after hours". She called the cops on him and she told the cop that no one was allowed there after the gate hours end , because they are closed. So what was the point of paying higher cost of unit for the extra access when you cant use it. There wasnt anything in my contract about the times other than "normal gate hours" for the inside units. So they must be guilty of false advertising or the manager just doesn't like us. She is very rude. Recently there was an attempt at burglary at this location . My lock was cut . No one contacted me nor did they put another lock on my unit. I found this out by reading it in the paper !! That is complete disrespect for your customers and their belongings! If it were possible to give less than one star I would. The manager here is not helpful or polite. She acts like everybody is doing something wrong. When you first talk to her she's completely different. It's impossible to avoid her , she lives there. read more

I've had this storage for a good 3 years. What can I say, nothing but a horrible experience. Not only how they upkeep this facility, but how they've handled our situation when someone broke into our storage unit. We got a call while I was in Seattle that my storage was broken in to. A week later when I come to inspect my unit, they have not secured the storage at all and left it the way it was the whole time I was away. Upon inspecting it, they've cut the plate that held the rod in place when closed. The manager told me that it was because the plate was singled plated and not double plated as the rest of the units had which was why mine was targeted. Before any paperwork was to be done, they wanted me to call the police to file a report. After doing so, there was nothing else to be done. Items in my unit was ransacked and while items may not hold extreme value, they were sentimental value to me. Then it took a few days to fix the lock which again was another 2-3 days left unsecured. There are no cameras on premises nor any security measures to prevent or deter break-ins. What gets me is that they did NOTHING to secure or protect my unit the time I was away nor offered any reconciliation or compensation for what happened. If they knew the single plate was a risk and can be breached easily then why haven't they install the double plate like every other unit has? They were responsible and could have prevented such an incident to occur. Even the officers who took my report mentioned how terrible the place was and now they handled the situation. Poor management you can say. Also the facility is dirty and are ridden with insects. When we switched to another storage, they provided flatbeds, recycle and trash bins and is an inside facility with A/C paying half the cost of what we paid here. There are MUCH better places other than this location. They don't care about the safety of your property nor their facility -- just your money. read more

This storage place has a lot of shady people around. Many times, I worry that I would be raped trying to get items in and out of my storage. The employees don't really care about you, only about making an extra dollar by up-selling useless items like a plastic cover and a mandatory lock. The communication is poor. They don't explain the rules of checking out and will charge you extra for not cleaning out during office hours. I never felt safe there especially when the employee asks you what you are storing. It's none of they business unless they plan to rob you. Most people get robbed by the storage employees, because the employees know your pattern of going in and out. I make sure to visit my storage at least once a week during random times and days so they can't figure out my pattern. Read other reviews about this location; someone got robbed while on vacation or living from abroad. My bf's storage (at another location) was robbed. The way he was robbed, you can tell it was one of the employees, because they took a long time to go through every single legal document he had in storage. What thief has time for that unless they know my bf lives in another city or state? I highly discourage you from renting here. read more

I'm a novice when it comes to using any type of public storage facility, so had no idea what to expect. I chose this location because it is close to my home, the smallest storage space was larger than most at 5x7.5 and the move-in special and monthly rates were better than any in my area. Be sure to use the coupons on their webpage for a rate of $1 for the first month and, on my size, a monthly rate of $81, which is lower than I could find anywhere close. Last, but definitely not least, they have Maribeth as their manager. By the time I left after sign-up, I felt as if I could manage my own storage facility. Maribeth goes to great lengths to make sure you understand everything. Additionally, she is not pushy when it comes to upselling. She made sure I knew of all they had to offer, but was not pushy and backed off when we said No. She asked what we would be storing, solely to make sure we were renting a suitable size space and agreed that the one we picked should be more than ample. She is knowledgeable, competent and a total delight to deal with. This is definitely a place you should check out for your storage needs. read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They quickly return phone calls and do their best to fix issues. The facility is clean and well maintained. But the Public Storage computer system has issues, which probably applies to any Public Storage facility: I registered my move-out date a couple weeks ahead of time and everything seemed fine. But when I tried to enter the facility at the move-out day I couldn't get in. They said my account is delinquent. Apparently the system canceled my auto-pay (seems OK) but didn't send me any notices for manually paying (not OK). We had to wait in line to pay before we could get in. When we were leaving they gave me a vacate receipt, but a few hours later the computer system sent me a bill for the next month anyway. I had to call to confirm that the bill was an error. Another small thing: the facility is only accessible until 9pm. That may also apply to any Public Storage, I don't know, but I found it a bit inconvenient. read more
