I don't recommend that storage at all. They don't have cameras. The lock on my unit was cut by someone and an attempt was made to get inside. They don't even know when it took place. They almost tripled the price for less than a year. The customer service shows an absolute indiffrenece in cooperating and shows just rules instead of answering. Terrible. The price and availability for units is fair, but could be better. The app, website, and frankly the competence of employees is subpar. Absolutely disappointing. Overseas call centers barely answer questions or help with issues. At times, getting rid of a unit feels like robbery. They charge $20 for a payment over the phone. Each person I talk to I feel they cannot do their job adequately. I will seek other storage units in the future. read more

Very disappointed with this business location after being their customers for years. On January 31 2020 my husband tried to move out yet he couldn't because there was no access to our storage space due to snow problem. He was told by manager he can move out in two days after they remove the snow. So he did move out on February 2nd as a result. Later he was charged for the February. We called a manager a few times trying to get a refund. No success. Now they claim we moved out on February 26 which is not true. I tried to contact both local manager and regional manager, left multiple voicemails since they don't answer my calls. No results. Customer service doesn't offer any help as well. It's simply misuse of their power over customers. read more

I had my account for 3 years. I recently moved and it was time to cancel my storage. When it came time to cancel it was such an easy process, Jeanine made everything so easy. Wow, What an awesome experience. Jeanine made this business transaction super smooth. She was very professional and friendly. She showed me the size unit I was interested in and offered to view other size options. She thoroughly explained the contract and expectations of the rental. The unit was super clean and easily accessible. I was able to pack and unpack the unit with ease. I rented the unit for about a month and it totally saved me in extra worry or concern. The team at this location has been very customer service friendly, they contacted me once we were in the unit to followup on any concerns and they contacted me after I had vacated the unit to ensure that I was completely finished with my stay. What a difference employees can makes! Jeanine was the Manager of this location when I acquired my unit 2 years ago. She was always cleaning, inspecting the property or interacting with the customers. She always waved to me, and seemed to be 'paying attention' to what was going on. She was the absolute best. I always felt like my things were being taken care of. I noticed a change in how the property was kept up after she moved to a different location. It wasn't always a positive. But, as of this writing, it seems to be rebounding a bit. And, I had the most wonderful experience with one of the employees, Latasha, as I was getting ready to end my lease there. This is NOT when you are expecting to be wowed. Latasha seemed to genuinely care that I was ending my contract with Public Storage. She even encouraged me to check out a smaller, less expensive unit. She even left the office to help me test fit my trailer in the smaller unit. She wanted to make sure that it would work for me. She was very nice and did not pressure me. She offered to hold the unit for 48 hours so that I could take my time in making a decision. Even though I decided to go with another storage company, she was still very nice and helpful upon my leaving. She went with me to the walk-through of my old unit and provided me with everything I needed for a smooth exit. Because of Latasha, I will check out Public Storage first, should I ever decide to shop around for a different storage company than the one I am using now. Thank you Latasha. read more

I moved in at the beggining of the year, they offered $1 move, but what they wont tell you, Is that is the only thing they offer, no customer service, it seems your a bother.. My things where flooded ALL OF THEM, they call me to let me know, and they will provide the dumpster!! what a joke, they did not cover the insurance part, and I lost all my items. Never, never stored Here. I store now accross from them in the second floor climate control, and much better service. read more

Is it possible to give no stars? I moved into a unit at the end of April and got enough of the mandatory insurance to cover all my belongings. Of course they changed the insurance policy to cover flooding on May 1st and claimed to have sent written notification to all renters. I never received the notice and sure enough the facility flooded and I lost most of my belongings. They were no help whatsoever aside from offering a dumpster for any item in the unit with an ounce of mold. As I was cleaning out my unit I ran into some other renters who informed me that this was the third time this facility has flooded in the last two years. Shame on you Public Storage for not disclosing this to potential renters and when I noticed water damage prior to moving in claiming it was from an old ceiling leak that had since been repaired. Do not rent a unit at this location unless you want to lose all your stuff to water damage. There are plenty of other safe and climate controlled facilities in the area. read more

The storage space is filthy and overrun with rodents- mice and rats, at least, if not larger. And, to make things worse, when I tried to contact them to arrange for a smaller space, I couldn't get a hold of them. They never, EVER answer the phone when they are supposed to be open. So, you have to leave a message, but it's a complete waste of time, as they have not once, ever returned a call. BUT, when it comes time to pay, they sure can call you then! Amazingly poor service and a dirty, rodent-infested space. DO NOT USE this service. I am filing complaints with the company and the Better Business Bureau. read more

I've rented from outdoor units a few times, and I'd have to say this was my first time at where management cared about ways to protect your furniture. They provide packets in each unit to ward off creatures people may bring. I had an experience in the Northern Suburbs where someone had brought mice, I had to throw out most of my stuff, well this place is thinking about that. I also still suggest using plastic bins just in case, but they're thinking about you. Also, the units are a step off the ground to prevent flooding. Jeanine, helped me my first day. She showed me my unit, and when I realized it wasn't going to suit my needs like I thought, she gladly cleaned out a new unit for me. She also pointed me in the right direction for various questions I had, and sincerely cares about the guests at PS. She is a very fun and enthusiastic person. This area has an insurance scam. They force you to take insurance that is worthless for flood. They are in a flood plain and last year the area flooded. After filling out tons of insurance claim info, they denied my claim saying it was due to water. A lot of people lost thousands of dollars worth of items. Do not put anything here that you would want to lose to water damage or get your own insurance. read more
