The sign out front said "VACANCY", so I quite literally thought it was a sign from above. Well I called on Monday afternoon and didn't get anyone, so I left a message. They called me back the following day and the owner/operator Wayne told me a spot would be 55.00 per month. I told him that was a bit high, and went about my day. Well after getting busy for the week and neglecting my duties of looking for a spot I called him back and offered 50.00 per month and I'd pay him in cash for the next 3 months. He declined and told me his price was set. I called the next day and told him I'd take a spot for a month. He told me he wouldn't be at the business that day and to come by tomorrow after lunch. I found it strange that he didn't keep actual business hours but still answered the phone during the work day. Needless to say, I called him at 2pm the following day and he lit into me about not showing up earlier in the day. We'd never set a time and he wasn't specific about when to come by so I apologized but he told me to do business with someone else and he didn't want to do business with me. Basically, these guys are a mom and pop storage place run by a jackleg, cranky, old, quazi senile man who doesn't like to stay at his office nor does he like to provide any level of customer service. Best of luck to them because I found storage from another place for half their price a mile down the road and the owners are super nice. Stay away from this place.

The lock was drilled out and several carloads were stolen, including a couch requiring multiple people to lift. My partner found out when he came back to his unit and the instantly lock fell out. His unit was right in front of a security camera and required two passcodes to enter the facility. We have been unable to contact the property manager. After we reported the issue, his unit got broken into again! The unit is not at all secure as the website claims. Also, he's had issues with leaks and had been stuck in an elevator. The police did recover one item from a pawn shop but have not turned over the identity of the culprit(s) based on the pawn shop record or the security footage. They also have not released the name of the pawn shop where the item was found. Please do not rent from here if you have unique values. My partner is a musician and will likely never recover the creative property that was stolen from here.

The two units I have leased were screwed up in their system from the start and initially caused a billing error that caused me a lot of heartache. What's worse is that the manager has no customer service skills whatsoever. She's quick to tell you how important she is and how many stores she manages, which is pretty shallow in the first place, but when an issue occurs, she hides behind her employees and doesn't return your request for a call - multiple times. I have no complaint with Irene and Robert, they have been awesome and actually knows who the customer is, but when you need to talk to management, they disappear. Also, very shady business practices. They will not tell you when signing the lease that they have outrageous late fees, $100 even if less than 30 days late per unit which is more than what I'm paying for one of my units. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR THINGS, because they will hold your stuff hostage even if they made a mistake. Awful!!

Coming home to a water leak is never a pleasant experience. I've had to go through that a lot over…read morethe years as a property manager. I'd like to think that I already had compassion and empathy for my residents whenever this would occur. Now that I've gone through it I definitely have an extra soft spot in my heart for what they go through. ServiceMaster by Bailey probably wouldn't have been my top choice for remedying this problem. ServiceMaster has a great reputation for cleaning fire damage, flood issues, and mold problems. They're also known for being expensive. You truly do pay for the expertise (and for the employees). Our property manager called them (this is a condo, not an apartment, so that makes a difference because we're the ones paying) to expedite a resolution. Two techs came out after the vice-president of something evaluated the damage wearing a very expensive suit. That's the first sign that this isn't going to be cheap. Subsequent evaluations had them recommending two dehumidifiers and about ten blowers. The dehumidifiers cost $101/day and the blowers $27/day. They estimated that it would take about 3 days to dry everything. I didn't think all of that was necessary and recommended that they pull out all the wet carpet padding to speed up the drying process. Flash forward 12 hours later. One dehumidifier was placed in the room with the wet carpet along with three blowers. Two more blowers were in the living room drying the hardwoods. What's the result? The carpet and padding is still sopping wet and they never removed it. They're coming back today to evaluate and I'm sure their recommendation will be to add more equipment. What they need to do is take out the wet padding and blow air under the carpet. It will dry in just a few hours. I hope I'll be able to update this with a 5-star review.
