I like to visit a place more than a couple of times before I do a review. I have been to this Publix multiple times in the past three months since I moved to the area. I love shopping here. They have a great selection of organic foods, it's always clean, and what I like the most is the customer service. There is always someone around to help, always with the best attitude, you get greeted by all the employees if you walk past them on the aisles; and you can always find a manager checking on everything and asking if you need any help. read more

So, we went to Publix for dinner. I got their steamed crab legs and my wife went to the salad bar. We have also had their chicken(fried of course) and subs. Overall, everything we have had has been good. Being a glutton, prefer Harris Teeter subs( because they stuff them with meat, so they are bursting). However, Publix subs are good. I believe on par with Jimmy John's. Their chicken is good as well. Not a southern momma type good, but supermarket good. Them crab legs, though. . . On point. The complete seasoning on them were good. They have other seasonings as well ( old bay, Cajun, garlic, and lemon pepper). There is not upcharge for them to season and steam, so that is a plus. My wife's salad was just ok. I like a good pasta salad and theirs is serviceable. Service and produce at Publix are both good. Both are better than say a Harris Teeter. They seem to be more expensive that Harris Teeter, so that is a con for a frugal individual like myself. On the whole, the customer service which can be Chic-fil a level and quality produce and ready made food makes Publix a go to grocery spot for your weekly shopping trip if you don't mind paying a little more(which I don't always want to do even if I have it). read more

Publix is by far one of the best grocery stores in Charlotte and this one being brand new makes it even better! It's in an easy to get to location and the staff are so incredibly nice! Reminds me of Food Lion 2000. Actually feels institutional. Stick with Harris teeter. Much better shopping experience. They took the worst floor plan they have and built it at this location. Thanks publix. Went all out for highland creek. Hope you end up like Winn Dixie. read more

Love this store but recently they changed the deli area. No longer can I get chicken salad and other similar items. The prepackaged area they sent me too was lacking of variety. Plus it seems those foods are more "watered" down. Change it back please! read more

Overall I really like Publix because of their selection. Their produce prices are absolutely insane. Also, if you're hungry and even think about getting a sub there, just forget it. I thought maybe the first time we went it was just an off day or something but no, it is every time. It is unfortunate because their subs are actually pretty good it just takes a painfully long amount of time to actually get your sandwich. The employees are borderline incompetent. If I tell you I want a sandwich AS IS, meaning the description on YOUR sign. I shouldn't have to tell you what I want on it. If you want to test your patience order a sub from there. The first time I went here I was totally impressed with all the inventory and how clean and organized the store was. The second time, it was last Tuesday and I need groceries as well as veggies for dinner. I do not normally buy packed veggies, I normally buy them loose but I thought I'd try it. They were supposed to be fresh but just have more product. Wrong. I got home and as I was getting ready to start dinner and I pulled out my asparagus, mushrooms and squash and as soon as I broke the seal on them, the smell hit me. All three of these items were molded!!!! How disgusting. You could only see them if you were able to flip them around in the package. I will never go to a publix again. Waste of money read more

Went there today. Service was absolutely horrible. The only nice person I came encounter with was the seafood representative. I couldn't find the chicken bouillon and I went to customer service desk for assistance. The young lady said, " How can I help you" I asked her where was the chicken bouillon was and the phone rung and she immediately answered the phone which I definitely understand but, she proceeded to helped the person on the phone before even answering my question. I just walked away. Basically I was ignored. I took the time out of my day to visit this location and she should have placed the caller on hold. Then I finally found what I was looking for with no help from anyone in the store. I proceeded to the self checkout because the 2 older cashiers were chatting it up with each other as if they were not working. The guy at self checkout didn't speak nor said Thank you for shopping at publix when I lefted. All he did was watch me like a stalker. He did indeed speak to the white couple that was in self checkout. Needless to say, your staff wasn't friendly. We spend just as much money as the next person. Treat every customer the same. I visited the store today at 3pm and the store manager is: Stuart Osha. Very bad customer service at this location.
