The thing we remember is the African American cashier who was NO help in us using a bonus thing we received from Publix for moving into the area. She was no help, stupid and didn't care. Not one greeting once entering ! I came to the deli for a sub . Neither the manager or deli associates greeted me as I stood at the salad bar . I then had to ask Rosa who was already at the station if they were open . She replied yes then proceeds to ask if I needed help . Where she then slowly stopped doing what she was already doing to help me . Publix is supposed to be the CFA of grocery and that is not the experience I got. Ross almost seems disappointed to make my sandwich . Totally disappointing . On the other hand Rho quickly came to help the guest behind me . Mid 70's and handicapped, I've been putting up with Kroger & even Walmart eliminating checkout cashiers and anyone around that can be helpful. If using Kroger or Walmart self checkout, as you have to do 95% of the time now, it Always seems to take 10+ minutes before anyone shows up to help. Frankly neither Kroger nor Walmart care anymore. Here at this location, people Care, are Helpful and kind. Oh, they check You out, sure they have a couple of self checkouts if you like. But you're not forced to do it like other stores. I will say Publix has much better meat and produce. Their store is Clean and much better marked. They have earned their good reputation. As a senior, and handicapped, I appreciate their people and store. It IS a good experience. More expensive? Yes, somewhat, But it is worth it and more. I remember when Clark Howard said if you don't like a retailer, you Vote with your feet, go elsewhere where your business is appreciated. Finally fed up with Kroger and Walmart, I've done just that. This Publix has been conveniently located many years on my way to work and back home. It's a clean store and the staff members are always willing to help. It must be a great place to work since some of the employees have been there longer than forever. The bakery department is the best. However, Publix has a great selection of grocery items as well as magazines, beauty supplies, produce, flowers, wines, and then some. The only problem is their pricing. Publix is really expensive! Unless I'm in a desperate need of something, I usually shop there only for a few items or fresh bread and pastry. Sometimes when they have buy one get one free sale, it's a great time to save money. read more

Easily the best Publix I've ever shopped at. Awesome location. Very clean and organized store. Always plenty of parking. It's in between 2 intersections which makes it easy to enter and exit. Every employee always greets me or asks me if they can assist with anything. BOGO is always a plus. They always thank me for bringing in my reusable bags. We love that we can refill water jugs with their water refill machine at the front of the store (inside lobby area near the shopping carts) and that we can recycle (bins are outside of store). Honestly the only downside to this particular location is that they don't have a separate liquor store but outside of that, this is the best Publix I've ever shopped at. I love the cheerful customer service I receive and the great quality of produce/meat provided. I easily find everything I need and more. read more

Customer service has declined. Deli, bakery, and customer service desk brings the store to a one. Publix prides themselves on excellent customer service. And it is my reason for primarily shopping with Publix. Employees working for themselves on Publix time and projecting their personal brand and standards is going to killed their pursuit for excellence. This location has employees who don't know or understand how to get correct pricing on cakes, deli meat, deli sandwiches, or deli food. Employees who can not operate the tools (cash register, label machine, etc.) Employees who have been there a while that are comfortable doing nothing or pretending to work. Which make the dedicated people who take pride in working at the best supermarket look bad and the supermarket loose rank. Hiring people who do not represent what Publix represents. I actually didn't even know this Publix was here....what a nice discovery. Never met a Publix I didn't like...this store like the other stores that I've been to is filled with friendly people. Pleasant cashier and baggers that will double bag stuff like spaghetti sauce and have enough sense not to bag your Windex with your coffee...you be surprised by how many will bag your Cascade with your blueberry muffins. This Publix is off of I-75 near Cowan Road. There is a Dairy Queen nearby as well as a Zaxby and a Sonic Drive-In. There are about 3-4 hotels nearby including a Fairfield Inn and Suites, A Super 8 and a Hometowne Lodge.... I was able to get what I needed which was some food items to make dinner with along with a box of Twining Earl Grey and always a few cans of Fancy Fest. No complaints here....thanks guys. Now the deli shuts down at 7:30pm. The store manager believes this is okay because they stop making bread for sandwiches "5 hours ago," and start packing the meat and cheese away "so they can leave on time." Only two bad reviews, but my 4th consecutive bad experience ... the employees have a pathetic work ethic, and the management would rather justify bad work ethic than provide quality service. Once the current "store manager" took over, this location went downhill very fast. read more

I purchased two packages of Greenwise shoulder lamb chops, but unfortunately, only two of the chops were edible. The remaining chops had to be thrown in the trash. Later, I visited Publix to request a customer service card. Ironically, I was disappointed with the customer service I received because the representative did not greet me or provide the stellar and efficient service as promised on its Customer Service Card. read more

I am fortunate that i have two other local Publix near me to chose from but this one keeps letting me down with selection. I have been going to this Publix for years for my kids birthday cakes. I have never had a problem. However when I came in last month to order a cake the woman helping me was rude and difficult. When I showed her the picture on my phone of the cake I wanted, she told me I would need to bring in a picture. I asked if she could just screenshot the picture I was showing her as this is usually what they do. She insisted I needed to go down the street and print out a picture for her. No I couldn't email the pic. No she would not screenshot it for me. This has never ever been an issue in the past so I assumed she was new and I asked to speak to a manager. Turns out his difficult woman was the manager! I simply could not believe this woman was so unwilling to work with me and she was the bakery manager! She did not care that this is how I've always ordered my cakes. She did not understand why I would not want to haul my kids elsewhere to get her a printed picture then bring them all back just to repeat what I was doing now. Misty needs to learn how to deal with people. I do not understand why she was so unwilling to work with me. I can tell you I will no longer be going to Publix for any of my cakes because clearly they don't seem to want my business. I don't need someone in customer SERVICE giving me attitude when I'm simply trying to order a cake. I recommend the Kroger that is down the block. They did not require a printed photo and managed to make my cake just fine. Kids loved it as it was cheaper than Publix too. read more

I've been to this location before and had wonderful customer service. Unfortunately, this afternoon there was none. I walked by several employees and not one of them spoke. Get to the cashier and the only words spoken to me was how much my total was and the bagger barely acknowledged me. Overpriced and the worst deli / Whole Foods is a better choice for me now. When you walk into Whole Foods you aren't faced with all of the most unhealthy food options immediately and I'm seeing the prices lower at Whole Foods or the same price but yet Whole Foods options are healthier and organic. Ok, so in general I like the Publix brand, generally good quality but the service at this location is definitely hit or miss. I went in to grab some lemonade at 952, and granted I know they close at 10 so I was quick. When I checked out the cashier was friendly but the person doing the bagging was too focused on their phone to even greet me or say anything. I always buy publix deli food and I had just recently moved in, but never in my life have I ordered cuts of meat and be prompted with: "Standing there won't make the service go faster." As I was browsing the selections. I even asked what he said and he nonchalantly repeated it. What a rude worker. This store isn't good. Most of the time at the beginning I found vegetables and fruits aren't fresh and some bins are empty or items not in good condition for example Bananas and avocados. Other store on Baker Road in Acworth is much better. It's worth driving couple miles more. read more

In a world full of businesses who have no problems talking down to or ignoring the elderly, these people go above and beyond to help my mom out whenever she does her shopping with them. They are even willing to grab cases of water and the heavy bags of cat food and litter for her and put them into her buggy, also walking her out to the car to load them for her after she pays. Very friendly and patient when she cannot find something, often going all over the store with her as they attempt to find whatever elusive product she is seeking. The prices aren't too shabby and the weekly BOGO deals are great, making this place well worth your time if you are looking for a friendlier alternative to your usual grocery store. read more

This is my Publix of choice...however, the Deli department is like a playground. Two people will wait on one customer making a sub while anyone who wants sliced deli meat is just left standing. There needs to be more supervision in this department. There are a couple really good employees in this dept, but you rarely see them. Too many young kids who want to be on their phones and play around. The cashiers and people who bag your groceries are outstanding. If they work on the Deli dept it would be great. read more

I've gotten a sub from their deli a few times because I work right across the street and every time I gotten one there has been something wrong with it. Once they charged me for the Boars Head meat even though I ordered and recieved Publix meat and then today they didn't put the bacon on it like I ordered and they put it in the cooler even though I had it toasted and it should have been put in the heater thing. These aren't major problems but if I'm paying for something I'd like it to be right because of the continued mistakes I probably won't go back to this store for a sandwich; I'll either hit the subway right next door or I'll drive down to the other publix down Baker Road. So if you're planning on getting a sub from here, it probably won't be totally right. read more

I've been going to this Publix for over 6 years now. It is always extremely clean, the employees super helpful, they go out of their way to ask how you're doing and if you need anything. Their prices are a little high compared to Kroger and Aldi, I go there every week for their BOGO specials. Publix is a great place to shop in general, but this particular location is the cream of the crop in terms of friendly staff and cleanliness. read more

I generally let these things go as I'm in the service industry, too, and I know we all can have a bad day or be "off." The sheer indifference, though, really surprised me. So that's the only service I don't use. Florist dept. is small but awesome. Cashiers are swift. Managers are nice and helpful. Always very helpful. They're quick to open new registers when the store fills up. If you ask where something is they'll typically walk you over to it instead of giving you an aisle number. They have a pretty good organic selection and have always been accommodating with returns. Overall it has always been a good experience, and I prefer it over every other grocery store in the area that I can think of. read more
