There is a reason, well, several reasons that I can point directly at to explain the rise of Publix to the very definition of what a supermarket should and could be here in the southeastern United States. First, Publix has amazing customer service. You are continuously greeted by the employees as you walk through the supermarket. They also will address any question or concern you might have. Customer service is just one thing that sets Publix apart. Another thing is their weekly BOGO (buy one, get on free) deals. Every week they have a slew of great deals. We also cannot forget their subs, affectionately known as pub subs. These are great subs. One of my main go to subs their Italian. I also like their roast beef and cheese. My daughter, who is not a huge sandwich fan, even likes their chicken tenders subs. My son, who does like sandwiches, likes their Italian sub, as well. Kind of weird to realize that some of the best subs come from a supermarket, but Publix definitely delivers. Oh, another thing that I am a fan of is the Publix diet iced tea, available over by the deli section. The deli is also pretty impressive. You can get cakes and whatnot, but I really like their bread and they also have pizza dough do that you can make your own homemade pizza. All in all, Publix is a great supermarket and it is my go to supermarket. If you have been to Publix, I am sure you will understand. If you are not familiar with Publix supermarket, try them once and you will be a fan. Publix has come a long way since they began here in Florida. They have expanded throughout the southeast and continue to grow. As I said, I do recommend Publix, definitely the best supermarket around.

Just spent 20 minutes watching a women make 2 sub sandwiches for a couple with three other people waiting. I've seen Michelin restaurants turn over entrees quicker. It isn't as if she was alone. Five other deli employees worked in the department. The folks preparing hot food orders didn't bother to help prepare subs. The woman weighing and bagging cold cuts for tomorrow's subs didn't bother to help with customer service either. Perhaps she's a specialist at bagging cold cuts. Certainly the workforce on July 4th were not specialists at customer service.

Victoria in the deli made the best sandwich ever. It was a baked chicken tender sandwich and she took her time and put so much love into it. The wait for the sandwich was absolutely worth it. I would rather have someone work hard and make it perfect than someone that slaps it together. Of all the restaurants in Orlando, I'm headed back to the grocery store deli just to get a sandwich from Victoria. Highly recommended!

We live close by and shop here pretty regularly always a good experience. Till couple weeks ago I had to order a cake for my daughter - she is obsessed with stitch and that was her party theme. So cake HAD TO be a stitch as well. After browsing internet for ideas I found exactly what I want and came here to request it. At first I was told it wasn't possible and they can only do partial idea of the cake. I was disappointed but had no other choice. I came back few days later to put the order in. And likely was able to communicate with Jessica (possibly a manager of the bakery not sure) but after discussing details she agreed to make the cake exactly like the picture I brought. And I'm so glad she did - she made my day, my daughter's birthday, all guests were in AWEE of the cake. I honestly teared up when I saw the final result. Cause she did such a beautiful job decorating. And I'm so grateful for her. Gestures like this from just a regular employee can make such a drastic difference in customers experience. And I wish more people do that (not just in publix )

I really hate to give low reviews, but this publix usually keeps the same items on sale; rotating the sales for every 3 weeks it seems on particular items. The seafood department doesn't carry a good selection as their Dr Phillips location, or even their Sand Lake location. I have to say they do accept requests and will have it the next day. Keeping with Publix standards. The staff is very much friendly and helpful. The three starts given is for the lack of sale on other items most customers purchase and the selection availability on shelf. This publix is the closest to me. Yes I will return. Stop by and give it a try and let us know if I'm off base with my review.

This is going to be a love letter to Sprouts because there are so many things that make shopping…read morethere enjoyable. There are ways to save and find deals which I will highlight. Pros - I was first attracted by Sprouts produce. It is fresh and diverse. It's a star so they put in back so you have to walk through the store. They put some of the produce in a cooler at night to keep it fresh. Some stores leave it out on tables but sprouts puts it in crates and wheels it back to the cooler. I like this attention to detail. Manager Specials. They have these all over the store including meat, dairy, produce and prepared food. It's like a treasure hunt. Sometimes it is close to the date other times who knows what the manager was thinking. Mark down meat and prepared food will have a yellow tag showing the before and current price. Specialty drinks - Coffees, teas and canned beverages. Plus no alcohol cocktails. In the coffee section they have grinders, so you can buy whole bean and grind it yourself in the automatic machines. They also have a beer and wine section. Clearance by the bathrooms and also markdown bakery near the case where you select your own pastries. They have a lot of vegan and gluten free items that are made fresh. They sometimes have bakery items to match the monthly sale. June was cherry month and all kinds of cherry related products. Samples. It is not a Costco situation where people are pushing and shoving. Just little sampling displays plus at peak times there is a small tiki bar has featured items and samples. They also have some cups by the checkouts. Friendly staff. They have people on the floor stocking and cashiers. They honestly listen and try to solve your question or problem. They have the same staff so it seems they try to retain their staff. They know me! Haha They have good sales, digital coupons and sometimes coupons will print on your receipt. In June 25 I got a paper coupon for $5 off $15 of produce and it even applied to sale items. Pro tip. I go in once a week and clip all the digital coupons even if I am not going to use it right away. Occasionally they have a digital that nets to a free item. You can also hook your Sprouts account to Ibotta by your telephone number at checkout. Then you don't have to scan the receipt. The two systems work together for automatic credit if you have the item rebates checked in Ibotta. They carry a lot of health items but have better prices than WFM. They carry organic and supplements as well as many items to meet your dietary needs. I found some holistic plant based cream when I had a rash on my eye that worked like a charm. It's BYOB. Bring your own bags!!!! They sell recyclable ones or will sell you a plastic one for 10 cents. Not that they are encouraging that but the 10 cent plastic bags are sturdy and can also be reused.

Popped in to pick up a few things. I love their produce. It is always very fresh. The people that…read morework here a very nice and helpful. It is very organized and clean.

I had been here before, but this time I truly realized how reasonably priced the fresh fruits and…read morevegetables are. They also have a great meat section. I ended up having a little cheat day and enjoyed a delicious soft serve with fresh strawberries -- it was so good! The staff members were very friendly, especially the cashier who helped me at the register. Her smile felt so genuine, and it honestly made me want to come back again. I even decided to pick up some peanut butter while I was there. The store was very clean and well organized, which made shopping comfortable and enjoyable. I shop at other grocery stores too, but this place is definitely becoming one of my favorites. You can also bring your own reusable bags, which is a nice bonus. The parking lot can be a little difficult on weekends, but overall I highly recommend this place!

I've had this barn-style market saved in my Yelp folder for quite a while now. I live about two…read morehours away, and whenever I'm in Orlando I usually get sucked into the whole Disney Springs vibe and never make it to all the other amazing local businesses. This trip, though, there was absolutely no Disney involved -- and we finally stopped here on our way home Sunday morning. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better. For someone who truly despises grocery shopping, this was actually fun. I will absolutely make a special trip to Orlando just to come back here -- and next time, I'm bringing a bigger cooler.
