Came here to buy pubsubs. The store itself was what you would expect from any publix. Clean organized. But the lady making g the subs was a star. She asked all the questions crafted the subs in a timely and methodical manner while also chatting us up and having a good time. Who doesn't love Publix?!?! I know I do! I frequent the Chickasaw location because it's the closest to my house. Publix set the standard high on excellent customer service and how a top grocery store should be run. Everyone here is so friendly and that's the reason I keep coming back. I love their BOGO sections and it changes every week. Whenever I'm running low on mayo, ketchup, salads, I come here to stock up. Especially when they have their BOGO deals. Every Saturday from 11am - 2pm, they have stations where they have samples of food you can try. Which is perfect while you shop because I tend to overspend on groceries when I'm hungry. So this prevents me from buying stuff I don't need. I don't know if all Publix locations does this or if it's just this location. read more

I definitely recommend coming to Publix for your grocery shopping needs! The store is always clean and the workers very friendly. It makes me want to come here over other grocery stores. The produce is fresh and the deli workers are mostly efficient. The reason for reducing a star is the prices! Grocery prices have skyrocketed but for publix it feels more significant. You can go to Walmart across the street for cheaper prices than Publix, but at Publix you're shopping for cleanliness and an easier experience. read more

Well this is not the nicest neighborhood Publix but it is still Publix. While it is located next to a uhaul store, it still has all the friendly service here. I come here frequently for their deli and hot food. They do run understaff sometimes so during lunch and dinner rush hour make sure you are prepared for a little wait. It's a good thing I like Publix. These things are everywhere! I like to come to this location while waiting for my order at La China in the same plaza. My favorite thing about Publix is the deli. I like trying the different meats and cheeses. The Publix bottom round roast beef is the best. Somehow I like it better than the top round. Always be sure to pick up the circulars when you go to Publix. Sometimes they have a coupon for $10 off a $50 gas card when you spend $50 on groceries. read more

I stopped here while I'm vacay to supplement my diet. I was asked if I needed assistance by multiple people because I was obviously unfamiliar with the store. It was clean and stocked well. Cashier was friendly, and Julio pushed and loaded my groceries into my car. I have not had that happen since I was a lot younger. I can't say enough about this supermarket! This place is truly a pleasure to shop in. Produce are always remarkably fresh and and I have always felt satisfied with the quality of products here- staff are extremely friendly and often offer their assistant when they see that "lost" look on your face. The BOGO section has become one of my favorite spots to see when I shop here. Prices at Publix tend to run a little higher than other places but well worth it in my opinion. read more

SUSAN S. cashier at PUBLIX at Lee Vista Plaza is a RACIST!!!! There was an incident in which I was paying for my groceries and my husband walked away with the bags. AFTER items were paid for she says out loud "tell your husband that walking out while paying is considered stealing" !! She also stated that that was store policy. We felt embarrassed and humiliated!! Is it not store policy to treat customers as decent humans. We spoke to the floor manager who stated that they can not ask a cashier to apologize. That's terrible and maybe they should send SUSAN S. to sensitivity training. We can't make SUSAN S. not RACIST but maybe she can learn how to treat brown customers better!!! If you would have asked me to write a review of Publix I would have said it's no big deal. I grew up going to Publix, I didn't know there were other ways to operate a grocery store. Man was I wrong. After moving to Chicago let me tell you. Publix is the s#!t. I love this particular Publix because it is the antithesis of Walmart. Everything is clearly labeled and easy to find. The staff is helpful and always pleasant, long lines are nothing compared to other places. Some say that they're over priced. While I can agree, I compare it to getting what I pay for. Unfortunately good service and clean shelves come at a price. Plus Publix has such good deals that it doesn't take a coupon master to walk out of there with a better deal than any other discount store. Plus because wal-Mart is so close the parking isn't a nightmare. My advice to anyone who takes Publix for granted... stay in Florida. You have no idea how fortunate we are. read more

The first and last stop on a trip to Florida includes a publix sub. I'm not sure what is so amazing about them... the garlic pickles, the bread, some sort of pixie dust... but it's the best sandwich ever. As for the grocery store, it always seems incredibly clean, a huge selection of anything you want. It has one whole aisle with international products from all over - the normal stuff, but also South America, Brittish, etc. Everyone always seems incredibly friendly. Great day at my favorite Publix 8/22/18, I am in a wheel chair so my husband usually helps me shop, however today he was ill so he sat at the pharmacy while Wes assisted me throughout the entire store. A really nice, clean Publix. Aisles are big-you won't feel on top of anyone else. Great selection of vegetarian food, both in the refrigerator and freezer sections. Publix is expensive, but you're paying for quality and experience. Staff is nice and knows their regular customers. This location was not hard to find. It's located in a strip mall with a few others stores. The service was extra nice (or at least our cashier). Similar to many of the publix, the aisles and stores are always clean. The labels and signs point us to what we need. I'd return to this location again. read more

Publix is always a pleasure to shop at, and this location is no exception. Friendly staff, organized and well stocked, and clean.

Generally, I don't enjoy coming here. I do, periodically, because it's within walking distance from my house. At the customer service desk, it always takes a long time to get anything done there. They'll have one person handling all the guest service duties, and bouncing back and forth, making everyone wait a long time. The mens room is always dirty, too. I don't like the prices, as I find them to be high. The cashiers and baggers are a mixed bag. Sometimes you might get some that are really nice, other times you might get people that are rude, ignore you, or won't stop talking to you. (Look out for the bagger with the glasses, if he gets your ear, he won't stop until you get in your car.) Honestly, I'd suggest shopping elsewhere. read more

I just moved and this is the closest Publix to my house now. As you can see I have a thing for clean places, and this publix looks a little old and its surroundings are not the cleanest. While this place is always clean and the people are always nice, they never have my subs ready when I order online. Twice now I've had to wait nearly twenty minutes after the time they said the subs would be ready. They always give themselves plenty of time to get the food ready for pick up, usually about 40-50 minutes. They aren't the best at time management when it comes to online orders, which makes me wonder what's the point of having that option to begin with. read more

I was looking for a cake for My sons birthday and they didn't have the size I wanted inside the fridge. This awesome human being name Yaritza came to me and ask me "What are we looking for today" I explained to her the size I wanted she look but unfortunately they didn't have one ready for me so I left and while I was getting into my car she came running to me and told me " I know it's your sons birthday and how special it is, Our cakes are great. If you want I Can decorate one of the ones we have back stock but it's going to take a little time because I need to decorate it" she made my day Im a single mom and the days wasn't going to good but she made a big difference in my experience here at Publix.
