I have no idea why a pub sub needs a review but here we go! The chicken parm sub is amazing!!!!!! Yes it needs all those exclamation points. They also have great Italian subs! Chicken bacon ranch, and buffalo chicken sub. The line might be long but it's worth the wait! I wish they had more people making subs, but still worth the wait. read more

Publix is my go to supermarket ever since I moved to Florida back in 2001. In that time o have also seen many supermarkets fall in stature as Publix continues to grow, even expanding beyond their Florida roots into multiple states. It is little wonder why they have seen such growth. Publix offers incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and their subs, affectionately referred to as Pub Subs, have become an integral part of Florida's lifestyle. Publix has a bit of everything your grocery needs but one thing I can't look past is their subs. This will be short and sweet. Go get a sub they are worth the price and taste just as nice. But the snack tenders and Fries are obviously old and having to pay extra for sauce to cover up the older texture is kinda torture to the tastebuds and your money. I've seen some employees be genuinely upset or just down right angry and still do their jobs and make me feel like I'm welcomed and I appreciate those people. read more

This is the most expensive grocery store In Florida..I use instacart as I cannot stand going there..we only have Target and Aldi and they don't have much . I did my instacart list last night ready for today .. 3 items were hiked up overnight Including bacon by almost $2.50 Interesting? Bogo is just stale unsellable or overstocked. read more

This is the worst Publix to go to. I have had one too many issues at this location. Subs are never made right. The ladies making them literally act like they hate their job and take it out on the sandwich. The bread was stale it literally crumbled when I picked it up. It was very sloppily made as you can see. And the cheese was old! Seriously! I also got a 20 pc spicy wings, at least that's what it said on the box. Got home to open it and find regular fried chicken breast,legs,thighs. Took that back and the lady at the front desk had an attitude and was acting like I was lying or something. So I opened the box showed her and showed her the front that says WINGS. I was able to switch them out. That happened before I opened my sandwich so I was already mad and was not about to go back to the store to get another sub. In the past I've had to return spoiled meat. Hot dogs that were very slimy when I opened them. Pork chops that smelled really bad. There's one particular lady who is always rude in the deli. I'm done with this publix. I'll drive the extra miles to another location. read more

Living here in the are for two years I just realized after I cooked the steaks and veggies I got from this Publix location. The freshness and quality of raw groceries is high quality then any other neighborhood grocery store I've been too. Specifically this store is always stocked (given demand), clean inside and out and customer service is unmatched. Employees always greet you and ask if you find what your looking for every time I pass them in store. DONT FORGET Wednesday's is $5 sushi and the seafood section made fresh! Definitely my go to location for every grocery I need! The ONLY negative and only one is that checkout lanes should be monitored much closely for in flux of customers because I'm always seeing it backed up when other employees are standing around doing nothing. Give it they may need more qualified cashiers. read more

After done getting groceries I proceeded to wait in line at the check out. The costumer in front of us in the line talked to the cashier say that "she thought she knew her from somewhere" in which the cashier agreed with her and knew her as well. Apon her leaving the store the cashier proceeded to make fun of her calling her names for us to hear. This lady was young blonde and seen very unconcern and rude towards the person she supposedly knew. Other than that it was great to grocery shopping they had everything we needed. My only complaint is the customer service being ass holes. read more

I really love this Publix location. The service is phenomenal. The staff and employees are very helpful, generous, and nice. Like most other Publix locations, they always have fresh produce, vegetables, meat, and seafood. The prices are reasonable, but can be quite expensive during the holidays. My only concern is the parking lot, which can be difficult to find a spot during early evening hours. This is the time where everyone gets home from work and goes for grocery shopping. This Publix is only 2 mins drive from my fiancée's house, so it is very convenient for us to do our grocery shopping. Overall, Publix has high expectations for its service and quality. Thanksgiving dinner box was not good.... Turkey was ok but mashed potatoes, dressing were aweful. Did you guys freeze them?? When I reheated them they turned to mush... very grainy and watery. NOT fit to eat. We had to throw them away. So disappointing. Also, when we opened the dinner box the lid to the fluff had popped open and spilled all over. That leads me to believe that all the items had been frozen. read more

I love publix over the other usual supermarket options in Jacksonville, however, when I get to the checkout and I'm having my groceries bagged, the last thing I want to hear about is how Mateo's millennial knee hurts and he can't wait until his break as he is carelessly bagging my groceries...placing heavy canned goods on top of chips etc. I'm sorry you're on the clock standing Mateo and your fucking knee hurts. I've been going since 6am yesterday moving our entire house, unpacking, making multiple trips out to get things we need, building furniture, the list goes on...I'm running on 3hrs sleep Mateo...I just need my new fridge filled with groceries that aren't fucked up Mateo...but please, continue with the carelessness and the goings on about that knee of yours. Our family loves shopping at Publix and have been doing so for many years. It is a home away from home as we're warmly greeted when entering and provided a clean sanitized cart. Publix store is clean, well organized, great prices, Buy One Get One Free (BOGOs), large spacious aisles, plenty of competent and friendly cashiers, lots of parking, great location, and best of the Associates all have a vested interest in Publix so customers get the best of best quality service and product. This store looks really nice from the outside. Beyond cute!!!! But once you walk inside.... it's just a bunch of chaos!!! It gets busy but they still remain to keep only two lanes open at check out. The deli was the slowest!! my husband waited in line for awhile and he was the only my customer. The lady was rushing for no reason but wasn't getting anything done. She sliced the pepperoni to where is wasn't even a circle anymore. We ended up leaving it behind I was pretty upset that we wasted a good twenty minutes here In this department. After this we trying to get out of this place as soon as possible. The bagger was the nicest person here. I didn't get his name but he was a teenager with some kind of Spanish in him and wore glasses. Five stars for him! Give him a raise! read more

This is another place I'm always at. And I honestly dread going to the grocery store. However, my family always, and I mean always, needs something last minute, so I often pop inside to grab what I need. There are always specials/sales. The grocery store is clean and the employees are always extremely friendly. Produce fresh; bread fresh; and I found a corner of discounted items/booze. That could come in handy haha. Their produce is always fresh and the associates are helpful. Never have an issue finding items, but if they don't have it the manager/department will look into it. I visit this Publix almost everyday. It is my neighborhood Publix, and I work right by it so I get stuff for lunch and snacks often. I prefer Publix produce to almost any grocer in town due to the freshness. I even drive by Winn Dixie to go to this Publix. And everyone knows that they have the best customer service hands down. If you don't know, now you know! But let me tell you why I have to brag today. I went there after a long day of work to grab stuff for dinner. I came home and put my meat on a tray. While reading the package, I saw that my meat was two days out of date. I was really upset, and almost in tears because that's the kind of week I was having. I immediately called the store and told the manager of the meat department what happened. He apologized and said he would bring me another one to my house so I could finish cooking my dinner!!! He was at my house with a new package in about 10 minutes! It really made my day, and I know they appreciate me as a customer. I will forever be a Publix shopper. read more

An amazing experience first time at this publix. Me and my husband were waiting in line to check out and a gentleman came behind us and said he could take us on an open lane. We stopped this afternoon for fried chicken about 4:00pm. We picked up a mixed eight piece meal that said it was good till 7:00pm. When we arrived home about 10 minutes later we found that the chicken was just warm and way over cooked. Had to add sauce to eat it because it was so over cooked. The breast was cooked till it was jerky. My wife was very disappointed to say the least. We normally shop at another Publix and have never had this issue in 26 years. read more

New favorite grocery store! Love it, and will definitely go out of my way to get to it. The deli has board heads meats which is top of my families list. My cousins rave about their deli sandwiches but I have yet to try one. The ladies at customer service who helped me were super friendly and courteous major kudos to them! I like this store. Employees are much more friendly than the other Publix out by Brennan. The lines are sometimes a few people deep, but they move fast. The cashiers are always friendly and I always hear a "hello", when I walk in, from the Customer Service Desk. The deli and bakery personnel are great. Great Subs. read more

Worst service I have ever received at a Publix. Apparently my time and money are not valued at this location. I had to wait 20 mins to checkout. I might as well have gone to Walmart for that and saved some money if they are going to waste my time. When I spoke to the manager on duty J. L., grocery manager, he was dismissive and uninterested, all he offered was a weak apology saying he will speak to his staff. The staff needs to be trained properly to handle rain checks and coupons but apparently that has been missed at this location. At no point did anyone offer assistance in helping me change lanes and allow me to pay for my items in a timely fashion because the person in front required prolonged assistance. They were more concerned with helping that one customer and ignored everyone that was waiting behind her. Again poorly worded platitudes were all that were offered. As I said before my time and money are not valued at this location. Good possibility they will also not value your time or money. read more
