A very clean and recently renovated Publix, this is my location that I will go to because of the proximity to where I live as well as the fact that they always have everything I need and the workers are always happy when I am here! When I am here I like to see the items they have right when you walk in because they always have some great BOGO things and with the holidays coming up, the fact cooking and baking stuff is on sale is great for me! The items are always stocked as well as the prices are decent. Not much to say when it comes to the location other then what I said in my previous review of the place. Nothing has changed for the better or worse and sometimes that is a great thing!

Their Easter display was so cute!

This is such a cute, convenient store. Smaller location but always has everything I need. I find the associates here much nicer and friendlier than the Publix stores nearby! Service is always great, clean store, can't complain.

They have a small selection of gluten free options but they are always friendly and it's very clean. I've never run into anyone who seems to have a bad day. They always try to make things run smoothly

This is usually my go-to Publix shop for a few reasons. 1. The women at the sandwich area always crack me up. They are friendly and like to joke around. 2. The location is smaller than normal so it's easy to get through. 3. I have ordered many cakes from their bakery for coworkers and they have all been amazing. The bakery experience is always great here for me. I can have a cake ready in less than 24hrs. The parking here can truly be horrible if you go at lunch or directly after work. You might as well walk there. They will only have one register open sometimes so waiting in line becomes something you must get used to. Being smaller, the selection isn't that vast, but if you need your standard grocery items this is your place. Recently I was there listening to employees complain about their new schedules the entire time I was being checked out. As the disgruntled employee moaned I watched her literally throwing my items in the bad which I thought was very rude considering they were things that could have been broken. I hope that is not the overall vibe there.

They doing renovation or whatever else and their service guys use driveway on side that is used by residents of townhouses behind. Had to stop yesterday and ask those guys to move vehicles- they answered:"it's private driveway" ))) Private driveway had no double line marking in the middle and don't have STOP sign on both sides. It's Driveway!!! They should care about local residents because they are main customers.

I received my flu shot with no pain and got the Publix $10 shopping card which I used on some medicine and was happily on my way.

You can pick any item and they will be worth the money. On top of already good deals, some items go on further sale for specials, and if you end up trying it, you won't be disappointed. This Trader's Joe is kept clean and well maintained. Some of the items seemed to have been sold out. We came too late this time. This place is located in a plaza that offers plenty of free parking spaces. I would recommend this place to others and will definitely be back in the future!

For example, I purchased bread on Wednesday, and by Saturday it was already showing signs of spoilage. The same issue occurs with vegetables and other fresh products, which have a very limited shelf life and, in many cases, do not last even a week under proper storage conditions. In addition, when customers need to make an exchange or return, the customer service experience is not always positive. There is one manager in particular who often comes across as unfriendly, making customers feel uncomfortable through their gestures and body language. I also noticed that salmon was placed on sale even though it was only a couple of days away from its expiration date. This raises concerns that expiration dates are not being properly monitored or reviewed. Many of us shop at Trader Joe's because of the trust and reputation the company has built for offering fresh, high-quality products. However, the current situation is concerning, as customers expect the food they purchase to be in optimal condition for consumption. I believe it is necessary to review quality control procedures and product preservation practices, as the overall shopping experience has noticeably declined.

The parking lot is absolute chaos. Cars cutting through lanes, shopping carts appearing out of nowhere, people backing out like they're qualifying for the Daytona 500... getting from your car to the front door becomes a real-life game of Frogger with groceries on the line. Once inside, the store definitely shows its age. It's older, a little worn down, and there's kind of a permanent "this building has seen some things" vibe happening throughout the place. The lighting feels tired. The floors feel tired. Honestly, parts of the store feel like they're just trying to make it to retirement. That said... credit where it's due. The prices are good, the selection is solid, and for a smaller format Walmart, they actually carry a pretty decent variety of products. If you're trying to knock out grocery shopping without paying Publix prices, this place absolutely gets the job done. The staff? Nobody was rude, but there's definitely an atmosphere of "I am physically here, but emotionally I left two hours ago." It's not hostile... just very low-energy. Like the entire building collectively needs a vacation. At the end of the day, this Walmart is basically the definition of average. Not terrible. Not amazing. A little dingy, a little chaotic, but useful and reasonably priced. Three stars feels exactly right because three stars is the official Yelp rating for "Well... it exists, and I bought groceries."

The small egg roll was actually for $1.00. The prices for produce, veggies and other items were deep discounted. For example: 18 large eggs for $3.97, full watermelon $4.62, or sweet corn .33 cents each and was told they go down on occasion to .25 each. Purchased two cartons of 18 large eggs, which scanned correctly at $3.97 each. The store was visually clean and the staff that actually spoke english assisted me with a few price checks. Will return for corn and eggs when needed.

Paranormal Publix -…read more According to Waze, this was the closest Publix to our hotel at Holiday Inn Express and Suites N Executive Airport, about 17 minutes away. I did some research on places that sold ready-made food because eating out every night gets super expensive, not only that, we were very tired and jet lagged and didn't want to get dressed and go driving around looking for somewhere to eat. This particular location was on University Avenue (very busy) and at times my knuckles turned white on the steering wheel but I made it into the parking lot in once piece. There was a nice section of ready-made foods like potato salads, sandwiches, California rolls, soups, and curiously a container of "butterscotch pudding" in the middle of the savory stuff. I don't know why I didn't take a photo, because the night before my husband said I was talking in my sleep and I said "oh yummy, butterscotch pudding" - which was super strange because normally when I talk in my sleep it's 99% unintelligible. I have never seen butterscotch pudding ready-made to eat in my life before. Very strange. I wandered around and saw a line of people at the deli, so I followed. It was a hot deli where you could buy a half or a whole sandwich. As I was in line, the guy before me just turned his entire body completely 180 to stare at me. STARE. For seconds, just stood there and stared. I dared not look at him because he looked frightening. I wish my husband was here, but he was snoring back at the hotel. I ordered both of us half-sandwiches, which were very good by the way (me - veggie, husband - hot honey chicken). I believe half a chicken sandwich was in the neighborhood of about $7.00, very reasonable. Publix also carries gourmet cheese, exotic orchids, hard to find fruits like the Florida Pineberry, which I managed to snag for dessert. It was scary driving there, being there, and returning in rush hour traffic but we saved a lot of money and enjoyed the moderately cheap eats, including wine.

I love Aldi and Trader Joe's and it makes sense because they have two German brothers in common…read more The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by the two brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. In 1962, they introduced the name Aldi, short for Albrecht-Diskont, which translates into English as Albrecht Discount. The company split into Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord, which operate thousands of stores in Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia. Aldi Süd controls the U.S. chain of Aldi stores while Aldi Nord operates in the U.S. as Trader Joe's. ALDI opened its first U.S. store in Iowa in 1976 and now has more than 2,200 stores and is headquartered in Batavia, Illinois. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries, Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Sometimes I'll just grab one of their empty boxes. Lines used to be long in store because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum but since they added self checkout I rarely wait in line anymore. I was at Sawgrass Mills Mall and needed a few items so I popped into this location near the mall on Sunrise Blvd. There are now 208 Aldi locations throughout Florida so there is always one near by when I need it. The store was clean and well organized. I was able to easily grab what I needed and I had fun checking out the new Aisle of Shame inventory where they have a lot of cleaning products and exercise equipment in anticipation of the new year. My new favorite Aldi product is the Coconut Hydration Electrolytes Blue Mix Sticks in the blue raspberry flavor. They are only 15 calories and make your water taste delicious. Thanks to them I'm carrying my Owala with me wherever I go. I also love that this Aldi had the self checkout that allowed me to get out quickly and on my way to my next adventure.

FOOD SHOPPING RED ALERT…read more.. Lots of people I know swear by the Aldi cheap food prices so this is my first Aldi adventure to see if this is truth or fable. At first glance as I enter the vestible, are a long stacknof LOCKED, shopping carts that have .25 cents imprinted on the top of the cart to rent. Then if you return the cart you are reimbursed the quarter. Also, there are no shopping bags provided. The store is much smaller than Publix but it seems to be easily navigated with wide aisles and the food sections are largely displayed on the walls. The prices for similar Publix or Winn Dixie items seem slightly lower on most items. Looking for a simple seeded rye bread was a failure, although, they did offer a large variety of private and recognizable national brands. The beer section was fully stacked and noticed that the prices were extremely competitive. The best deals were the bags of mini avocados for $3.69 instead of the competition price of $5.19 or one gallon of whole milk by Friendly Farms for $3.02. I grabbed a bag of avocados and walked to the self checkout and noticed they dont accept cash, so paid the low price on my credit card and left. After the completion of this shopping project, I would have to agree that there are deep discounted deals here and many reviewers were correct.
