I always like to walk around the grocery store and check out new items. I was inside this Publix and I noticed these vitamin gummies. I thought those were a cool item to have since they have fruit flavors like orange and raspberry. These are handy to have if you are coming down with a cold....just munch on a vitamin C gummy and be good for the day. The store was very clean and the staff working here was very professional. When it opened as a Publix GreenWise, it was marketed like a specialty market with upscale prepared foods, hot bar, chef-driven stations, organic emphasis, wine focus, etc. When the original concept didn't work Publix turned it into a standard-format store... but the physical layout never fully changed. When you walk into the store there are empty stations. It's a smaller Publix so it's easier to navigate but it always feels like it's missing something. The bakery used to be so nice with custom cakes, breads and pastries. Now it's just prepackaged cookies, donuts and a birthday cake or two. The vibe feels like a Fresh Market that lost its identity. For a location that's right behind Town Center it's in one of the nicest areas of Boca. It should feel upscale, Instead it feels empty and deserted. This store has the potential to be a unique upscale Publix . Instead, they're gonna let it just whither away. read more

I ordered catering for a work event here today and I cannot say how grateful I am for the service in the catering department. I wish I had gotten the woman's name who helped me because she was just fabulous. She knew I was in a hurry and went out of her way to help put my last two trays together herself. So sweet. Their attitudes come across as rude and judgmental, and I don't feel like I am treated with the respect every customer deserves. I ordered a sub pickup for 8 am from the publix location at "21230 St Andrews Blvd Boca Raton, FL 33433 United States". I put in the order at 12 am the night before so it would be ready for me to pickup on my way to work in the morning. The entire point of ordering online is for the convenience and i paid online beforehand. This time and almost every single time i order a sub online from this location and go to pick it up, its never ready i think maybe once out of 12 times it has been ready for me. The staff are never helpful or accommodating and are always rude and confrontational when asked about my order not being ready. They never apologize and never try to rush to make things right, i only ever order online if i know ill be short on time and then i endup wasting time that i dont have waiting there while they take their time to make my order. read more

GreenWise is a spin-off of Publix. They have many more organic products and a larger cheese and wine selection. I like coming here when I am in the area. I received a lot of help in that cheese apartment and even learned a thing or two. I bought some fantastic cheeses here and will make it a point to buy them again when I am in the area. They have so many cheeses here and I am a fan of cheese so I am in heaven!! I bought a couple items from produce and they turned out not to be good. I wish I could figure that out when I'm in the store but the lettuce and tomatoes looked okay. That happens at every grocery store from time to time. The cashier was very friendly. Whatever you do avoid the bakery department. If you have an important event you need to order a cake for please take my advice and skip this Publix. We ordered a specialty cake and they completely messed up the simple order. We asked for a unicorn cake without toys, meaning they were to leave off the cheesy plastic toys they put on the cake. Low and behold we go to pick the cake up and the toys are on the cake. When they take the toys off there are visible marks. We ask them to fix the cake and in turn they tell us there are no cake decorators available. So basically we paid for a damaged product. They did offer us a discount, but to me this is just unacceptable. The instructions on the order slip clearly said NO TOYS! I was assured the order would be correct. I am beyond disappointed. Many people start reviews of a Publix by stating "well, its just another Publix, what can I say?", and while that may be true, this is a GREENWISE PUBLIX, and has its own distinctive character and offerings. They offer many organic and natural foods which are NOT found in "regular" Publix stores, and have an impressive prepared foods section, and an attractive HOT FOOD BAR which includes some healthy offerings such as salmon and mixed veggies. The PRODUCE section has organic as well as non organic, and offers much more organic options than a regular Publix. The bakery has a lot of offerings, and I usually avoid all those sweets, but appreciate looking at them! CUSTOMER SERVICE is outstanding, there are lots of staff stocking shelves, asking if you need any help [and appearing to genuinely have interest in helping, as opposed to saying it as part of their routine], and when I have not found a few items, such as prepared salads or cut fruit, when I ask for them, they make them up special, without any hassle. The staff actually smile at you, and if you come often enough, they acknowledge you, which is cool in a big box food store like this. The aisles are WIDE, uncluttered with displays which require savvy navigation in other stores. SALES: The same sales you find at any Publix. RETURNS: If you need to return something bought here, you can do so at any Publix. Lots of CASHIERS and baggers, the lines move fast. Parking lot is easy to navigate, and there is a decent amount of DIVERSITY in the shoppers - lots of young folks in work-out clothes from the near-by gyms and communities [frankly, good eye candy when shopping :), and I love eye-candy... Oh, I've never found anything here with an expired date on it, while that is not the case with Whole Foods or Fresh Market. So, if this is in your commuting area to/from work or you live in East Southeast Boca, its the place I recommend. read more

I haven't been back to this Publix in months and here's why... I usually love shopping at Publix. But one weekend I made a 45 minute drive to this specific Publix, as it's a Publix Greenwise Market. I honestly wasn't impressed with this store. I feel my local Publix had about the same amount of Greenwise products that were in this store. The one thing I wanted to try was the gelato. But there was a sign saying the gelato wasn't available (even though there were different flavors of gelato in the see through glass freezer) and to check back in an hour. I didn't have the time to wait so I didn't get to try it. If this was my local Publix, I'd shop here. But I wouldn't make another 45 drive. read more

Publix Greenwise Market has a fabulous deli and sub sandwich shop, just like all the other Publix in this area do. They are Greenwise because they have more organic offerings in the Produce Department. It's a subtle difference at best. The Greenwise Market is a very clean grocery store with a terrific selection of all of the groceries you need. However, most items available at Publix are also on sale at Winn-Dixie at a cheaper price, in my experience. The Publix Greenwise Market generally has a better quality version of things like sherbet. Sometimes, it is worth it to purchase items in a store such as Publix because they are high quality from top to bottom. But you will pay for that higher standard of products. Whenever I want a nice deli item, Publix is the only grocery store that I consider using. Everything is delicious there, from Boars Head deli products to delicious breads, succulent tomatoes and wonderful potato salad. I love the Publix deli!! read more

Absolutely MASSIVE Publix, and greenwise stores always feel more like a Whole Foods than a Publix. It was so chic and clean; I was shocked I was in a huge grocery store chain! Greenwise is more expensive than Publix already is, but that's because almost all of the options in the store are organic. They did have a ton of 2 for 1 deals, so you will save a decent amount (if it's on the items you need). The artisan cheese selection is WOW! And the wine selection is just as spectacular. The only 2 things that keep my family going to this Publix as our regular one (versus Camino Real in East Boca) are 1) cost and 2) PARKING! Anything on St. Andrews/in the Town Center area is such a pain in the butt to park at. Staff was friendly and asked us if we needed help multiple times, and all wore face masks and gloves. At the checkout line today, the cashier scanned my first item and asks " do you want to donate to children's schools?". I asked if they have a round up option when paying by credit card. A manager nearby came over and said that they do. So the cashier finished scanning my groceries and I was waiting to insert my card, I noticed he was waiting on me. He said " how much are you donating to children's schools?" I responded, " first of all I thought we said it's a round up. 2nd of all, I don't like how your asking the questions and not nice to ask paying customers at their local grocery store to be made to feel bad if they don't donate or having to verbally say how much they are donating. Very concerning. Are they guilting vulnerable elder people while grocery shopping to make donations. Very distasteful to experience at your local grocery store. read more

Publix greenwise is a publix but more "expensive". They have a great cafeteria that I can see it looks like they serve nice and fresh meals/foods, but they are a bit pricey on the pocket. Many areas, including : wine, meat, dairy, frozen, and a bunch of different cheese and handcraft breads etc (as usual). Many, many types of products (though they dont have bacon jam, which is a down for me) (I mean who doesn't love bacon? ). They should include those type of unique products you can find in premium places. Customer service, is overpowered. Even if your not asking for anything, they just love to help you and guide. Amazing , how even before you solve your problem they ask If you need something else or they can help you with other stuff. Never been on bathroom but i could imagine is 5 stars. I really love the Publix Greenwise. It's like Publix and fresh market had a baby, lol. The greenwise store offers almost all of the items a regular Publix does (minus a few things like Publix tea, which is a real bummer) but it also specializes in organic foods, meats, veggies etc. They also have a great hot bar that always has something healthy for me to grab quickly to eat for lunch or dinner. I can usually get a piece of salmon with veggies and brown rice for under $10. The soups are usually really good too. I frequent this store a lot since I pass it everyday going to and from work/home. There is a lot of parking and the store is always very clean. I love all of the departments here especially the bakery, they always have these amazing sweet treats and tons of specialty breads. The meat department is amazing. So many organic cuts to choose from as well as the seafood department. If you enjoy cooking you will especially love this Publix. I get lost sometimes just walking around. read more

I love this Greenwise Publix for it's amazing hot bar... especially their Chinese food. Whenever I am in Boca Raton and have a craving for delicious Chinese food, I come to this place! Their grocery selections are also great and I used to come here a lot to do my grocery shopping as I lived right across from it. The employees are very cheerful and knowledgeable about their products and also give you tips on cooking whatever you're planning on cooking. It is true that it is somewhat a mixture of Whole Foods and regular Publix, but since they are smaller than the Whole Foods over at Glades, they don't carry everything that you expect to find at Whole Foods. Still, I love this Greenwise Publix- great parking as opposed to Whole Foods during the weekday! read more

I think this is the loveliest publix I had ever been into. Don't get intimidated that just because it is called green wise that everything is gonna be green wise. It still has the normal things that publix normally carries just that perhaps the publix itself is more green-wise. I love that it has that whole foods feel in that the organic feel of not just the food but the atmosphere is truly portrayed and makes the shopper feel like they are having a very holistic experience. Decor is A plus. Their bakery is impressive. The fruit tarts are gorgeous and the breads are pretty fresh. There's a water machine near the express checkout lane for shoppers which I think is nice. The produce is fresher than normal publix's. Despite the fanciness of this publix, i found the prices still reasonable compared to say Miami's publixes that were half as good quality but almost 1.5 times the price of this publix. Staff here are friendly and polite. Audience is normally families and older people. They even have people help you carry your groceries into the car if you're older. Bathrooms are on aisle 3 all the way down towards produce. Usually clean. Like all Florida publixes, they dont' do the 1 cent coupon deal. read more

This is a beautiful Publix with many items not always found in the regular stores. I actually came in a for a specific product today and I know I have found it here in the past but today I was disappointed. The item was on the shelf but in a smaller size than I wanted. Also, the price was higher than I expected. Needless to say, I didn't take it and will continue to look for exactly what I want. As I was leaving, I looked in the bakery and prepared food cases. If you shop at Publix, you are likely aware of their Greenwise brand. This is their organic/healthy/feelgood brand aimed at consumers with more money to spare. In select markets, they have opened up Greenwise stores, which specialize in this brand and other grocery items of this type. As a side-note, I was dismayed to see that the best deal today was $0.60 for straight-up enriched white bread, which I do not think even has a place at a store like this. Upon entering, you immediately have to exit and make sure that it is indeed a Publix you have just entered. I did not look for it, but saw no sign of the tell-tale scale near the entrance, but I did get a very Whole Foods vibe. It was spacious, with plenty of items to choose from. You will not have to go to multiple grocery stores. And one bonus is that the produce was not pre-wrapped with cellophane and butcher styrofoam (well, except for some pre-sliced watermelon, but I'll let that slide); I fail to understand why Publix insists on this practice. It is annoying and keeps me from shopping at their stores if produce is on my list. The grill and prepared foods area looked really nice. There was seating, but the bulk of it was somewhat removed from this area; not too bad, but weird. There was a Chipotle Bleu burger on the menu which sounded interesting, but I'm not sure I want to spend $9 on a burger to eat at a grocery store. Plus, I am unconvinced as to the mix of chipotle smokey flavours and bleu cheese. I might have to try it myself sometime. The wine area was pretty nice, but not up to Whole Foods standards. Also, expect to pay about a 15-20% premium for the privilege of buying wine here. The problem, really, is that this store is simply a hybrid of Whole Foods and Publix and as usually happens with such things, it falls short in a morass of mediocrity. If I want high-end, expensive products, I'll go to Whole Foods or the equivalent. If I want cheap staples, I'll head to Albertson's or my local regular Publix. read more

If you think that paying $7.99/pound for an organic green pepper is ludicrous, you need not read any further into this review. Kevin from the previous review is right in noting that there are many things, if not most things in this store which are NOT organic. You have to look at the color of the price tag to figure that part out. The setup of the store is very similar to Whole Foods, they failed to be creative at all. They have all the Whole Foods signature amenities such as a cooked to order grill, gelato stand, and fancy cheese guy(who knows if he's a real cheesmonger?). Outside of that, the offerings are not unlike your regular Publix except everything costs a lot more. It's a perfect blend of Publix and Whole Foods Market. It has many of the same products as Publix offers but more of their Greenwise brand which I love. It's also not as pricey as Whole Foods either. It also has a cool design and is super clean. The customer service here is outstanding! I'm always greeted throughout the store and asked if I need assistance. They will always stop what they're doing to show you personally where something is. The employees are full of useful product knowledge too! There's large selection of fresh, ready made foods. This is such a beautiful market. The food always looks so fresh and appetizing. The shelves are well stocked, the store looks clean, and the isles are wide. Most of the people working here are friendly and helpful. Their bakery can be expensive, but the baked goods are delicious. I especially like their fresh baked breads. I enjoy their prepared foods, and their pizzas are inexpensive and delicious. Publix Greenwise used to put out a monthly calendar which was available in the store and on their web page. I still see it on the Internet, but there isn't much listed. I used to look forward to seeing what events were coming up at the store. I don't know if they cut back on the calendar or if they're not having as many events. read more
