Worker wearing masks improperly, no gloves, and long sleeve shirts that are touching up against raw meat. I've worked in restaurants before and I *get* how some people don't use gloves. But this is raw meat. During a pandemic. With cuffs touching the food. And an ineffective and improperly worn mask. Oh and an improperly worn hair net. Y'all can do better.

Shopping was NOT a pleasure. Management are you listening? Brenda should keep her snide remarks to herself...and deli staff should not disappear with your food when preparing a plate...so blantly wrong and unprofessional

Been a Publix shopper for over 25 years & recently moved closer to this Publix. I have shopped here about 8 times now only because of convenience and the fact that I cringe if I have to shop at Walmart. This is by far one of the worst Publix stores that I have ever been at. The selection is not good, the deli is horrible when it comes to keeping the rotisserie chickens ready, (and their hot food in general) the staff are not the friendliest, and the pharmacy staff are just OK. And should you unintentionally have a few too many in the express checkout lane, the grumpy cashier Kerry will rudely remind you that you are in violation for being over the 10 item limit! I will drive the extra miles to the friendlier, better stocked and much more customer focused oriented Publix on Chin Rd. in Parrish. I have never had a bad experience at a Publix until this location. Do yourself a favor and shop at any Publix other than this location, it is truly horrible on so many levels. Such a shame to see such a downgrade of such a great chain with this classless location!

I especially appreciated the variety of local vendors and products available throughout the market. I also stopped by the deli and tried both the meatball sub and Italian sub, and they did not disappoint. The portions were generous, flavorful, and incredibly filling. The fresh lemonades were a great addition as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the Detwiler's cookies were another highlight of the visit. Overall, it was a fantastic shopping experience, and I've officially become a fan. I'll definitely be back!

The building it self is pretty large and wasn't expecting to walk in to a store with so much to see and samples in every corner you turn plus a bakery with danish and croissants sold in singles or packs, everything in the bakery looked delicious! There is a lot of product here you probably won't find in other areas of Florida but you can also find a lot of the same stuff at Publix. When I came to this store on a Tuesday afternoon there was a lot of people shopping here. They lay out is the same as most stores but what is unique is the bakery is to the left when you walk in and the bakery offers a lot of pastries like danish and croissants in their case for single purchases and also already packed. I had never visit this specific chain store and after doing some research I out these stores are only in Manatee and Sarasota county's. Very unique store with some different varieties but also keep and eye on some items , I wouldn't buy cleaning products here or body care items as those can be found for a better price at Publix and often BOGO but some other items like candy's in packaging toward the produce área was interesting they also offer a wide variety of cut fruit. Beware if you don't like seafood the smell starts to sneak on you as soon as you get to the produce área and it's pretty strong. Costumer service here doesn't come close to like at Publix but overall a store to look at if you are near one in any of the the two county's they are in. Four stars, why? because of the strong odor of fish and I felt like the store didnt have enough space for costumers to get around ,to many displays of products in the middle off the aisle.

From farms and farmers markets, especially around the holidays when possible. But for now, I'm liking Aldi for it's specialty items that aren't the run of the mill grocery store stuffs . And as I stroll the aisles of goods, I think about the true meaning of Thanksgiving which is but a week away. Apparently there are people coming to see, so I'm the cook again, which is fine by me, but I live with the animals and they're allergic to everything that moves and I'm not sure what they're thinking but I agreed anyway. Maybe with my spiked cider they'll loosen up enough for the annual touch football game - "Red 13! Green 84 hut - hut - hike!! Go long, buttonhook around the donkey stalls"! So extra sweet potatoes ($1.79 for a nice net full, approximately four pounds, butternut squash is well priced as well. I think I'll skin and stuff them this year, or shall I've def world famous soup? Irish Butter and heavy cream to cook with - cheeses and charcuterie to set out early for hors d'oeuvres with some canned beluga caviar I have always handy. I'm quite ambitious and can throw down big time in la cuchina, but living in an RV can limit ones culinary prowess. So I'll return for pumpkin pie, and cranberry sauce, I do hope this is the year that I open the can on time. I'm just not sure if its sold here, or if they have a turkey even - as I left without my list. Tom Turkey (or Tina) has a two day spices citrus brine ice bath to be plunged down into the awaiting five gallon pail. Or perhaps I'll just stick an apple up it's butt and serve it raw, I mean, what's a little salmonella between friends? This should be interesting.

While in the meat department I decided due to my medication and my small appetite the the pre-made pop in the over dinners looked quite good. Unfortunately, my family and I were met by the most sexist man I've ever come to face with inside of a publix store. While grabbing our food the man working the meat counter decided to come up to my famil and I and ask repeatedly why I didn't cook for my family since it was my day off. The first time he said it I tried to brush it off and say yes, it's my day off, I've worked all week and it's time for a nice break. He then repeated himself more.than once asking why I hadn't cook. I can understand culture differences, but this was pure sexist behavior. Regardless of my life or my situation shaming me in front of my family and mutiple other customers is absolutely inexcusable behavior. I expect much more from a publix. I used to drive out of my way to go to this publix because it was my favorite to shop at. Unfortunately, after this interaction I will not be back. I will not recommend to my friends or family to go to this publix anymore either. I understand it was only one employee, but if that is the standard of employee my new expectations are super low.
