I've been to a bunch of ALDIs and this one is the same as others. Neatly laid out, the same core items and a limited but friendly staff. Yes, you need to remember to bring a quarter for the shopping cart. And yes, you need to bring shopping bags or you're going to be buying them or you can take a cardboard box if that's your speed. For my upcoming week long road trip, I stopped here to stock up the van with bread and cheese and sliced meats and a few other little treats. I like this Aldi. It's smaller and it is difficult to maneuver while you are inside with the big shopping cart. They have a small produce section with selected items. But they have fruits and veggies at great prices. Their eggs are the win. The must I paid before the pandemic was .99 a dozen and I could get as many any I needed (baking, a grown child that eats 3 in the mornings, yes, I feel I'm growing a giant. He is only 1 year old lol.) but now with the pandemic and people being, hmmm, selfish? There is a limit of 2. Same with the milk and basic essentials. All the stores are doing so now I believe. They haven't been well stocked when I go to get the salmon. They should get that under control. This is a hit or miss for this Aldi. The brands are not your popular brands you'll find at all stores. I do believe they offer a few of those in some products. They have a few "furniture" things like chairs, baskets, household items. I bought an ottoman and it's actually very nice. They also have a large wine selection for the size of the store and they offer a small selection of beer. Don't forget to bring your bags, but they sell them there. Paper ones go for $.07 cents each. They also have $.10 cents plastic bags and the thermal bags reusable ones for higher prices. You need to take a quarter to grab a cart during regular times, but during the pandemic they are giving you the cart with no need of a quarter because they clean them as soon as the customer returns them. read more

Love this store so much. Always have a nice selection of goods. The special selection aisle is my favorite. Love the seasonal section. The cheese selection is wonderful. The prices are amazing. I always buy eggs here. Today they were 69c a dozen. The seasonal dark drizzled kettle corn is outstanding! The store is clean and staff is friendly. read more

Love this place! It's so affordable, they have tons of options, it's clean, and you will always receive service.

The vegetables and fruits are fresh and cheap, and I never though I can buy the bread just $0.98 for whole bags.

An interesting grocery store with very low prices and lots of off-brand products. They have some great deals and an interesting mish-mash of products. Not the sort of place that I could do my weekly shopping, but nice enough to pop in every once and a while to see what sort of things are available at a good price. The produce selection is pretty small, but this week they had a pint of blueberries for $1.49!! What a steal! They don't provide bags, so bring your own, and apparently you need to place a quarter in to a device to get a shopping cart out to use, so be prepared. read more

This place is suuuuper cheap, and in a good way. 1. Perfect for house hold staples. 2. Produce is WAY cheaper than the local competition. 3. Bring a quarter for the buggy, you'll get it back. 4. If you have extra grocery bags, bring them too. If you don't use them, somebody will. 5. They have decent $3 wine, and import beers. 6. The take-&-bake pizza is on point. 7. I'm personally not that crazy about the meat. 8. Expect the place to not have a ton of employees there to hold your hand. I imagine the minimal staffing/rent-a-buggy, and store brands are what keeps the process rock-bottom. read more

There's been an Aldi near my house for quite a few years now but I never considered going there because I assumed it was subpar and for poor people. Well for some reason recently it dawned on me that I AM a poor person. So, I decided to pop in today because I happened to be right next to it and I had 20 minutes to kill. I like that the store is small. It seemed to be clean. The employees were friendly. It's definitely not fancy but I'm assuming that's all part of keeping the prices low. They appeared to have most things that you would need with obviously a smaller selection of brands. In fact, it's pretty much just their brands. It was kind of crazy that their generic brands look EXACTLY like the national brands. I had to do a double take to make sure I was seeing correctly. I noticed that some things were quite a bit cheaper than a name brand while other things were just a tad cheaper. Their produce actually looked better than some of the stuff I've seen at Kroger lately. I probably won't be running to Aldi every week, but I am definitely going to keep it in mind when I need to stock up on staples and such. read more

The best grocery store for staples! It's convenient, well laid out, has many specialty items you cannot find elsewhere, and their staff are unfailingly polite and cheerful! Their store brands are excellent and they have enough brand variety for choice. The store in Hermitage is compact enough to make it simple to navigate. No walking for miles to find things. After a reduction in family income this has become my major store. I call it the poor man's Trader Joe. Nearly all products are Aldi's proprietary brands and everything is cheaper than the major chains. They have a selection of organic produce, a line of gluten free products and a number of European items, reflective of their German ownership. At Christmastime they sell authentic German Christmas cookies. Be sure to have a quarter to get a cart (it's refunded when you return it) and bring your own bags. They only accept cash or debit cards. No frills but lot's of good deals. read more
