I've been getting subs at Publix for close to 25 years!! Not until this past Saturday night, 10/7/23 did I ever order them online. WHATS UP PUBLIX??? These subs were HORRIBLE!!! The meats were very scarce (1slice each) and the bread was extremely stale! Breaking up in crumbs as you bit into it!! Do you save your worst ingredients for online orders?? I WILL NEVER ORDER PUBLIX ONLINE AGAIN!!! They proved to be totally UNRELIABLE and completely lacking in any quality!! I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! read more

My trip back to my childhood home of Jacksonville could not be complete without a stop to Publix and get a sub made - it was so nice to see that everything had been fully modernized with the exception of their amazing tarrazzo floor - I used to walk the aisles with my mom here - and now as I remember they are cleaner and kinder than ever - thank you Publix for aways being so kid friendly as I remember your staff would help me after school open up a bottle of Mr Pibb on the vending machine that it was dispensed of. Today you hire the funniest and nicest sub making staff - we had the best time talking about all the options needed to make the most perfect Turkey sub and I cannot wait to be back - Publix always has, after all, made shopping a pleasure! read more

Even if I'm in the area I won't go here. It's a run down Publix and there are plenty more that are nicer and have a better selection.

If I could give it 3.5 stars I would but here we are.. the place is clean, it's stocked and staff as in any Publix is kind and helpful. Giving it this rating as this location is always so hard to get some parking that's not being used for something else. It's in my opinion an older store so a little refresh wouldn't hurt, the sandwich station is always very slow in my personal opinion but they are All so very nice. read more

This is easily one of my favorite Publix. The store is large and bright. The parking lot has ample parking and is usually pretty clean. The parking lot is also easy to get in and out of. When there is a good sale, they are usually well stocked so you don't have to go to multiple Publix's to find what you are looking for. The have a good variety of products. The store workers are just as friendly as any other location which makes Publix one of my favorite places to shop at. I much prefer this Publix to the Argyle Forrest location. read more

This place is so convenient if you live in the OPCC because it's right outside the gates. The parking here is a bit cramped, but still better than the Riverside Publix. The prices are definitely higher for some of their produce I can get elsewhere or at the Farmer's Market. However, it is expedient to shop here and the service is above average as most Publix Supermarket staff are generally cheerful and helpful. Overall, I'm a fan and will go back. read more

Nice as they all are. The staff is friendly and helpful. The BoGO deals are great. Doesn't feel like they jack up the price to discount it for bogo. The meat selection is good. I went in for soup bones for my dogs and they did not have any out however the meat cutter was very nice and gracious and bagged me up 20 pounds right away. I went in for bones and walked out with $300 in my cart. Sigh. Couldn't resist the deals! Also cool was the fact that they have sushi, hot food, and sometimes BOGO on micro beers. Publix always has very fresh produce, meats, and there deli is tops. This particular store has very friendly staff and the store is very clean. Prices at Publix can be a bit more than other spots, but the convenience of living nearby makes the extra cents a non-issue. Always keep a watch out for the BOGO items as you can pick up some good bargains on these. Those change weekly to keep you coming in to check them out! The checkout lines are fast and efficient as well. The do offer a delivery service but the prices are higher and it just hasn't been a priority for us to check out, but if you were home bound for any reason, this would be a great option for receiving your groceries. We're usually in here multiple times a week due to last minute purchases on our way home. We use their pharmacy services as well, and they are very helpful getting things to us when needed. All in all a great place to shop. read more

This is the closest store to me which I have always enjoyed but I do notice the shelves are still empty on some of the sale items lately?? They are friendly and the store is always clean. I feel good about buying from there meat department and bakery. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. You guys throw you chicken away to early and everytime i go there there's always no chicken because it's gone

This location was clean and organized but their prices were high. Example? 12 cupcakes nestled together with frosting that looked like an American flag over the top for $18.99 Many staff didn't seem to be happy to work there and the steaks were about $2 more per pound than surrounding stores. I wasn't impressed. The ribeye at Aldi was tender and juicy and kept about $16 in our pockets. This wouldn't be my "go to" spot unless it was the only option I had at the time. read more

Finally pinned myself and my sons diarriha to a birthday cake I purchased here. Everytime we had a piece within hours got the runs, they must have used spoiled eggs I would say, be warned! I will never go back to that store, I have gotten spoiled fruit and veggies from there as well. Stay away! read more

My review is due to the experience at this location with the deli. I arrived to order three subs. The deli's service has been very hit and miss over the past couple months. I proceeded to tell the deli employee my order of what I needed/wanted, but he kept insisting on telling me about the deli special that I was not interested in. I told him no the first time, but he kept insisting. After the third "I'm not interested.", he got the message. I told him to make the first sub I needed and then I'll provide the details/info on the next sub. I do this due to past experience where the deli employees get very scatter brained when making more than one sub. The employee was either resisting or not wanting to listen to what I was conveying because he kept demanding that I give him the rest of my order? I asked him very firmly and clearly if he had a problem with my order. He paused and looked as if he realized he made a mistake; however, he kept trying to insist upon fulfilling my order his way? At that point, I no longer wanted him to make my subs and asked three times to get another deli employee. He finally complied after the third request. I addressed this issue with the assistant deli manager, but she sounded very robotic in her replies and asked no questions about how/why the problem occurred or even provide an explanation. This is probably the most inane and rudest service I received from any Publix deli. read more

For me, Publix is a bit expensive. It's a clean place. Not sure if I came on grumpy day, but WOW. Not the staff, they were fine, but the customers? I know it was raining and kind of a blah type day, but it was like none of them knew how to get out of the parking lot or everyday etiquette. IT was a weekday about early afternoon. I know the place shouldn't be judged on their customers, but it didn't make for a great experience. I'm willing to give it another shot-- on a sunny day. There wasn't a lot of selection. At least, not for what I was looking for. Store sushi was decent. Fruit and veggies were fresh, but not willing to pay those prices. When there's a deal, there's a good deal. read more

Absolutely GREAT customer service, and an impeccably clean store. I love this Publix. The subs I order are filled to the brim, gargantuan would be a better word for the amount they give, AND at a reasonable price! The deli personnel is always smiling and willing to give samples as well as show you some amazing new things to try! (Boar's Head Chicken Teriyaki meat and the Chipotle Cheese are me new favorite thank to their recommendation! TOTALLY stepped my sandwich game up!) The bakery dept has always been so courteous and willing to help as well. You can ask them for certain amounts of hamburger buns or etc to fit your budget as well as portion for your family! (The onion hamburger buns ARE SO GOOD! As well as their fresh baked hoagie rolls!) The checkout staff ends your shopping experience with ease as well. I can't tell you enough times that I've gotten help because I'm lugging around a little human and they notice I need assistance. They're OH SO FRIENDLY! From the BOGO deals, the friendly staff and clean environment, this Publix earns all the stars from me. read more

I applaud the beautiful store right out my door! The Publix is always clean, well stocked and most of all, has the friendliest store clerks in the area!!! Especially Justin at the Customer Service counter. I appreciate his patience and treats everyone with respect and courtesy...even while watching us flit our hard earned funds away on the Lottery. :O) We relocated from the PacificNorthwest to the area before Christmas. Not only did I find everything needed to have a lovely Holiday (all of the trimmings, literally from "Soup to Nuts"), but I felt truly welcomed to the community.....and we think we'll stay awhile due to that. Great service ALMOST all around in all departments. The moment you ask for a sandwich different from how "I normally make it" their words, they get annoyed. I try and be specific and they hate it, they want you to just take it how it is and deal with it. You charge 10 bucks a sub, and it's to much to ask for a sub heated up less than "normal" or mayo on both sides of the sandwich or a little more pickles please. They do it, but begrudgingly! Just makes for an unpleasant experience. Not to mention how slow the department is, but I guess when there's five people working in the department and two customers waiting to be served ya can't ask for anything quick. Clearly understaffed **heavy sarcasm** Publix to me is about customer service. I expect this at McDonald's. Oh well. read more

How we missed our Publix while living in the Pacific Northwest. Returning to Florida this time last year, we moved not far from the Publix off Blanding and boy are we feeling good about living so close to our favorite grocery store! Needless to say, the appearance of the store is always clean, well stocked and clamoring with smiling faces of store assistants ready and willing to help. One in particular, Kirsten has been a doll to visit with while in the store!!!!! She's always pleasant and makes us feel like our shopping needs matter to her. We have to eat and shopping is a necessity, but to know we're doing it at a store that genuinely cares about us as a shopper makes having to go very enjoyable. Thanks for that Publix! The Deli takes foreeeeeeeeeeeeeeever. Even if you're the first person in line, employees walk past and don't even knowledge you're standing there. They have boars head which is the only reason I come. All they ever say is "we'll be right with everyone" I understand the deli is busy, always, but put more employees back there or something. It shouldn't take 20 mins to get a 1/2 lb of turkey. read more
