I am so glad wicked batter exists because this place literally satisfies my sweets cravings when I'm on a diet. They moved locations and me and my friend decided to stop by for lunch. The restaurant is a little on the smaller side but cozy. Service was super friendly as well! I ordered the following: Keto breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese: 9/10 - it was so delicious oh my goodness! It was pretty huge too! You can have your choice of bread and I chose a flatbread. The egg was fluffy, cheese was melted, and the bacon was crispy. Who would have though the sandwich was entirely keto friendly too??? Keto cheesecake: 8/10 - I didn't know it was crustless but nonetheless, it was delicious. It had caramel, chocolate drizzle, and nuts on top of the cheesecake layer. The cheesecake itself was creamy and flavorful. They had plenty of carb friendly and keto friendly desserts like brownies, cakes, and cupcakes in their display. I've had their keto cupcakes before and it's kind of dense but it tastes good with not alot of the fake sugar aftertaste. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and desserts. We got a few things to try out because we were nearby and had a little craving for sweets. Food-8/10. The flavors are great but the cake is a bit dense and dry. I really wish it had a softer lighter bite but it lacked any sponginess. I realized quickly we would need some milk for coffee to wash it down. The icing was divine though. The caramel drizzle on mine was sweet but not overpowering an in perfect balance. I just really wish the cake itself had been better. I know people prefer different density in their cakes but I'm of the moist and spongy variety. Also the price is a bit high for the cupcake size especially given the quality. Service-10/10. It's counter service but the staff is welcoming and quick to assist. Atmosphere-10/10. Not too difficult to find amid a strip of stores. It's clean and cozy enough with nice seating options. I went in for a sandwich to go, and learned I will be coming back - soon - for breakfast! First the server found that I was taking my Italian sub to go, so they graciously wrapped everything separately so the bread would not get soggy! Who does that?!? Someone who cares about the quality of their food and their customer. I noticed biscuits and gravy on the breakfast menu, and I am a snob and love biscuits and gravy, but I am pretty picky. They let me try their gravy, and let me tell you, it was delicious! Just peppery enough for a bit of a kick, with nice large pieces of sausage. I was drooling over my little taste of this. They make their own biscuits as well, so I will be back soon for this. Restaurant is in a strip mall of sorts, and doesn't "stand out", but inside it is cozy and quite cute. We recently tried Wicked Batter Cafe. Really great bakery but what sets this apart was that it had a great selection of sugar free and low carb options as well. The staff were attentive, informative and proud of their offerings. I asked about what appeared to be Napoleon cake and they did indeed carry Napoleon cake. I'll try that on my next visit. Retuned to this cafe after a quick try earlier this month. The shop is clean and bright with plenty of seating for dining in. I was able to grab a Too Good to Go Sugar Free surprise bag and was excited to try some new things. A different staff member helped me on this visit and she was friendly and welcoming, just like my first visit. She gave me my prepaid surprise box of treats and I purchased an addition regular treat for another family member. My keto cupcakes were fantastic. I loved the lemon Chantelle cream one best, the other three seemed to be some sort of maple or caramel. The cupcake base was good and the sweet cream on top made each bite of cupcake a yummy treat. My future son-in-law loves cheesecake and the slice I picked up for him was good. Note: this tastes like a key lime cheesecake except there is no crust. For strict keto dieters, it's perfect! It's pricey but to me this is worth it ($48). For my diabetic family members, it was a hit! I needed a little crunch so I bought a Graham cracker pie crust, threw it in the air fryer for a few min then crumbled it up and added a little to the top of my cheesecake. My husband and I tried this place for the first time last week. I'm fairly health-conscious, so I really appreciated that they list the caloric info alongside their menu items and have a huge selection of sugar-free and/or keto options. We visit Jacksonville a few times a year but this was the first time at this cafe. We saw their amazing reviews and decided to give it a try. This a family owned small business and were amazed by the quality of the breakfast we ordered. My husband had the egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit and I had the breakfast platter. Everything tasted fresh baked and delicious. I loved their everything bagel especially since they don't make it with gluten ingredients. The young gentleman that took our order was helpful with our menu selection and was patient. We're going to stop by again before we leave and try a bunch of their baked goods.
