This is one of my favorite locations in Jacksonville. It is so convenient and fully stocked. I wish they had more seafood options though even though this is a chain, they all seem to have certain items at different locations. Although I've been going to this Publix for years, their deli (sub sandwich preparation specifically) has been facing some challenges. Lately, they like to mark subs ordered online as complete without completing them (perhaps so they don't get flagged as completed late). When you arrive, the sub tends to not be ready, and then you're told what they're "out of" or that it's going to be an additional wait for them to prep the meat for the sub. I've had this happen at least half a dozen times in the past few months. I know part of this may be them being understaffed, and another part is the app not matching what they have in stock, but it defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. read more

This is a great Publix. Today I came in to get a rib roast at 8:30 almost 9 o'clock at night. The meat guy saw me looking and stopped to ask if I needed help. When I was unsure about what we were doing, he then pulled out some huge slabs of meat to show me the difference between them and we picked the perfect roast for me. He was so nice, and so informative, and he just made my visit perfect. While the store is one of the older style stores it is always very clean and it's clear that they really care about what it's like in here. Publix is always going to be better than the competitors in my opinion anyway but when you add together all the nice employees plus the good deals they have you just can't beat it. read more

I had never been in this public before. It's a different set up that I am used to seeing but it was still easy to find what I was looking for. Being baseball season, if you don't have sunflower seeds you are missing out. Publix has resealable 5.5 oz bags 2/$3 everyday. For grocery store prices it's not too shabby. They also have an array of flavors. Cracked pepper, sweet and spicy, bbq, ranch, buffalo ranch and of course original. Definitely worth the stop. read more

What's not to love about Publix. There Deli Subs are Great and better than most Sub Shops. The 5 grain hogie roll is Awesome. They Specialize in Boars heas meats or Publix brands and both are delicious. If you want to save some time there on line ordering is quick and easy and will be ready when promised. You can also call in and order white or dark meat chicken cooked to order to definitely better and freaher than any fast food. read more

There are no Publix locations in the Midwest so when my husband first moved down to FL (he came down first), he did his own grocery shopping. This is something he rarely does, but had to out of necessity. He told me how expensive Publix was so when I finally moved to FL, I took his word on it and did my grocery shopping elsewhere. I'm not sure what promptly me to download their app, but after I started using it I was hooked. Their app is very user friendly and allows me to add items from their weekly ad to my shopping list. The products have the aisles noted which makes it easier to locate, however it's not 100% accurate. If there is something you can't find, go to customer service and they'll be able to look up the availability. I shop here almost exclusively for their BOGO deals. They have approx. +60 BOGO weekly. I know Winn Dixie has BOGO deals as well, but have maybe 1/2 the amnt. As with any store, you can get bigger savings by using a coupon. Other than the BOGO deals, they do have several unique brands that I haven't seen carried anywhere else. Store is clean / organized and service has always been very good from the cashiers to customer service desk. The parking lot can be tricky too since the store is located in the middle of other stores so it can get busy. The one thing I dislike is the water dispenser located in the entrance. It doesn't always fill my water bottle to the top. So far I haven't had much luck with their fresh fruits. The grapes were sweet but not crunchy and the oranges were extremely dry, pretty much inedible. read more

Shaun. From the deli. You suck at making subs. Made an online order for a sub. 40 minutes later sub still wasn't finished. I get things can fall behind but he was literally just talking to other people around him while taking his sweet sweet time making an already late sub. Missing condiments when asked for. Left my sub drenched in mayo sitting there for 20 minutes while waiting on chicken tenders. I had to ask for another loaf of bread because that one was soggy. I remember the days when this Publix did not have a cart return station in the parking lot. I was working there when they did not have one and people scattered carts everywhere and it was a mess! Fast forward to today and I think they now have two. This Publix has the layout that I am familiar with. Customer service on the left when you enter, and the Deli is on the right. Customer Service at Publix is impeccable and if you disagree, speak to management and they will make it right. I can't really think of any negatives about this location. read more

This is the worst Publix I have ever been in!! There is always long lines, I waited for 15 minutes in line to find out that you can't buy more then 2 drinks because of this virus. Which was not posted anywhere!!! The lady at the check out was disgusting to me, she rolled her eyes when I asked her if she was joking. Then when I asked to speak with the manager he told me to purchase the two drinks and come back in multiple times to get the other drinks. THAT WAS HIS RECOMMENDATION. Now I have to go to a different store to get my fiancé's drinks, he just had a tooth pulled and he is on liquids. Never again will I shop here! read more

The store had pretty much what I needed. For some reason I thought I drove up to a Whole Foods but discovering Publix wasn't bad at all.

Everyone in the deli is very friendly, well really the entire store... As for the deli though, if you're unsure what to get for lunch just ask, they'll make great suggestions. If you want to try something different, try their potato balls, they have a meat filling. The rest of the store is normally very clean and organized as well as the staff being very welcoming and willing to assist if you need help with anything. read more

This Publix is always clean and organized. I always enjoy my shopping experience here. The store is never too crowded and if I ever need help looking for something there is surely an employee right around the corner ready to assist. All of the employees that I have come across have such positive and friendly attitudes. Not once have I passed an employee and not be greeted. The bakery's cakes are delicious, the chicken wings are always hot, the subs are never "skimpy" and the sushi is pretty good. The prices are a little higher than the local Walmart but the overall quality of your shopping experience is by far better at Publix. They finally put cart stations in the parking lot which makes it so much more convenient especially for a mother of two who takes the kids grocery shopping. I also never have to worry about disgusting carts sticking together like at other places. They definitely keep their carts clean and they even have the cool car ones with two seats .
