I've actually been to both locations but realize it until I went to this location. The location is quite busy, as there are multiple successful restaurants in the plaza. So if you come during lunch, expect parking to be an adventure. The cafe itself is very intimate, but airy and whimsical. I'm a sucker for whimsical. My daughter and I just stopped in for a quick snack as we were early for a nearby appointment. I got a seasonal drink called TROPICAL BLISS. OMG it was sooo good! Our table ordered the Quiche Lorraine, a Cappuccino, a Steak Sandwich (special), a Strawberry Foam Matcha, French Onion Soup and a Le Courchevel. While the French Onion Soup wasn't our favorite (it was a little bland), the rest of the food was very good. The Strawberry Foam Matcha was delicious and a welcome change to our usual picks. I met a friend here for breakfast! A cute Parisian themed cafe, ran by Russian immigrants which I think is so cool. Service was great! Staff explained the menu and seasonal options as well. Pay at counter, self seating. Booths and tables inside and well as outside. This place gets busy around 11am during the weekday. Food was fresh and tasty. No complaints there. I tried the egg croissant with smoked salmon-tomato-arugula. I keep trying matcha tea because "they" keep saying it's healthy, but I'm just going to stop. It's just not my thing. Always a pleasure having breakfast here at this location at Butler as it is so accessible and never had any issues with parking. Ordered 2 each of the Chocolate, Guava and Hazelnut pastries and they have always been my consistent goodies. I read soemewhere on the news article posted by the hallway, that the owner orders bread from France as well. The service kiosk took a bit of time, not the most user-friendly. I prefer getting the order from the staff-Shoutout to Bruna for being so attentive and asking about how my coffee was and if I needed a refill. Le Petit has become one of my favorite Jacksonville local restaurants and what also helps is that they are in almost every main side of town so if you're looking for some great classic French Baguette Sandwich this is the place for you. My go to normally is always the Le Parisien which is the classic French go to (Ham, Baby Swiss, salted butter) or Le Courchevel which is Ham, (Baby Swiss, caramélisés onion and Dijon Mustard) both are great you really can't go wrong but this time I saw a special that I had to get. That special Baguette Sandwich was called the Le Costeau and it was amazing. It's juicy steak, Mealted Swiss and Sharp Cheddar, Red Onion, with Arugula and House Sauce. Le Costeau was so good and a must if they have it as a special. Literally everyone I spoke to there only had great things to say about it. Juicy, tender steak, loaded with cheese and even some crispy bits stuck to the outside of the Baguette. Now I will say I also go a Le Parisien for when I got home later cause it's just such a classic. If you love an great French Baguette Sandwich Let Petit is the place for you. read more

It was my first time at this location and I love the decor, cleanliness and layout of the cafe. Well stocked too. The pastries were delicious especially after getting it warmed. I had the apple tart and my mom had the maple pecan tart. I also had the drink of the month, Cozy Pumpkin. It tastes like fall they didnt have caramel but it didnt make the drink taste bad I still thought it was good. I usually like pumpkin spice lattes and this one was a good hint of pumpkin and apple and not too spice, more on the sweeter side. The service was great, friendly and attentive. I love places where I can get breakfast and lunch at the same time. I can eat salad all day long and I ordered a salad for breakfast with a side dish of scrambled eggs. My salad was just loaded with bacon and walnuts and fresh greens. There was cheese on it also, but I would skip the cheese next time. The scrambled eggs were seasoned and creamy and fluffy. I tried the new location on Beach Blvd. It has a drive-through which is kind of surprising given the type of restaurant it is. I appreciated that though as I was on my way and I needed to take dessert to a gathering. They were very personal told me what they had available as if I were standing at the counter; you can't beat that in a drive-through. There are not a lot of French restaurants/bakeries in Jacksonville and I truly appreciate that this one is here. If someone comes to visit, we definitely go here at least once. Love, love, love Le Petit. I absolutely love the Lobster Bisque. It's so buttery and just super tasty. My go-to is the Le Marais I think it's called. So filling I can never finish the whole sandwich. Only critique is the salmon was a little aesthetically unappealing due to discoloration. The coffee and dessert menu is also . Le Petit Paris overall is an experience. It's a CHIC bakery that offer light plates (but PRICEY) and coffee options. There is a since of belonging when you're here (it's very much like StarB vibe) so know what you want and speak the language. i use this place as my WFH wifi spot but the sockets are limited and there is a guest wifi but no one offered to give it to me. What a lovely Sunday Brunch we just had at Le petit Paris! I over how casual this cafe is so it's a great place for a quick brunch. Great selection of croissant & baguette sandwiches, delicious fresh brewed coffee & variety options of mimosas I had the Le Marais, smoked salmon baguette, the bread is crunchy with creamy cream cheese paired with fresh smoked salmon & side salad. I find it pleasantly refresh & light, all the flavors go so well together. As for drinks, I haven't tried their coffee yet, but the peach mimosa is delicious & fruity. The wait was not too bad and we were able to find a table by the window. I noticed they just added the kiosk so you can order from there or at the register, I love looking at all of the adorable keychains & yummy pastries as I check out. Definitely will be back again! The staff is super helpful and friendly they do have a few tables and seats you can sit and enjoy your meal inside or you can sit outside over all the ambiance of the cafe is great. Quaint little breakfast and brunch stop. I had had this bookmarked for ages given the beautiful photos I saw of the goodies here, so of course when in Jacksonville, I just had to go. My companion and I stepped in, and well, this place certainly looks Instagram worthy. Very colorful and lively! But how was the food? Well, they had a vast menu greeting you upon arrival, and my companion who is French immediately goes, "This isn't authentic French food." Nevertheless, we ordered and we were quite pleased with our selections. You know just don't call it French food. This is more of an American take on French food. As I wasn't starving for once, I chose a salad. La Palette was it, and it consisted of warm goat cheese on toast, prosciutto ham, sundried tomatoes, fig, balsamic glaze, and mixed greens. Admittedly the portion surprised me. It was quite generous. I didn't think I'd be able to eat a majority of it, but I was mistaken. I had most of it minus the bread. I feel this is a salad I will find myself randomly craving. The sad part in all this is I live two and a half hours away. Sigh. It'll definitely be something worth grabbing when back in town, but who knows when that will be. As for my companion, he had a French baguette sandwich, whose name I forget. I'm inclined to say L'Atlantique, but I wouldn't stake my life on it. Its distinguishing features were tuna and arugula. At any rate, it surprised me that my companion ordered this given the tuna. He is a notorious seafood hater and somehow inhaled this. All in all, Le Petit Paris exceeded my expectations and my dear Frenchy's, too. You know minus this being French-American food and the killer squirrel up front. Wildly overrated, my first hint should've been when I ordered and found a "chai tea" on the menu. Second clear indication of this establishment being a joke of a "French eatery ", was receiving a completely smashed macaroon I ordered while the rest were deteriorating. Next I attempted to order a banana croissant only to find out they were mysteriously "out of bananas and croissants" after I paid. As a service person how is this possible l wonder if it was due to pure ignorance or not.
