This is my go-to store for most of my staple items. The dairy, snacks, and produce are all at a great price! Occasionally, I'll stock up on their sparkling water or a bottle of one of their fruit wines. I do love quality wines from the far corners of the earth -but the fruit wines they have are so sweet and refreshing for the summer. I always tell people not to sleep on their alcohol section. The produce section is small, so I still need to drop into publix or Winn-Dixie when they don't have something I'm looking for. When it's time to check out, I've only seen one cashier working, so it can be a little wait. I would love to see them add a self checkout like they have at other stores. read more

I come here for competitive prices and better produce, however this last time I went (Thursday afternoon) I was so extremely disappointed. Almost all the produce had mildew (all berries, cucumbers) the bags of lettuce were soggy and brown, mushrooms were gross. The meat was also unsafe! Almost all the packages were puffy, which means that the temp was messed with. (Going back and forth from cold to hot) if anyone eats those, they're going to be sick! I feel like we can't shop anywhere anymore. read more

My experience at Aldi's has been good, just about in everyone I have visited. It's hard to beat their prices, especially on produce. I do enjoy seeing what products that they carry that I won't be able to find elsewhere. The middle aisle is always a treat to browse. On this visit, I picked up a few fruits and vegetables. I highly recommend that you bring your own bag. Aldi is a no-frills store meaning, it isn't Publix. Often the wait to check out can be extensive, at the most I have only seen two registers open, usually it's only one. This store is great! You have to be prepared though for the kind of store you're shopping at. It's a small grocery store and can get crowded quickly. Aisles aren't as wide as other stores. It's mostly store brand items. You may find a few name brand items, but not many. Bring a quarter for the shopping cart! Carts are located at the front of the store. You stick the quarter in and unlock the cart from the chain. When you're done shopping, bring the cart back, and get your quarter back. Kind of brilliant I think. Also, they don't provide grocery bags. Before you get to the register you can buy some or they supply boxes you can place your groceries in. If you choose the box option, grab them while you're shopping because they go quickly. Some of the prices, especially the sale items, can't be beat. I bought a dozen large eggs for 59 cents! Milk for $2.58. Fruit and veggies were cheap and fresh. They had chicken thighs for 69 cents a lb. Yogurt 33 cents. I will say there were a few name brand items that were the same price as Walmart, so don't be fooled just because you can buy them here. Overall the prices are cheaper and there's a great selection. I spent less then 80 dollars buying an entire weeks worth of groceries for 3 people (meat, fruit, veggies, canned items, frozen items.). I will most definitely be back! read more

I was pretty excited for this store to open and was happy to go. Before I got in the store, I needed to grab a cart. I felt like a fool when I didn't know how to unlock it. Why? Because you have to deposit a quarter into the cart to unlock it!! The store has great prices and a good selection of products from beer and wine to home goods and fresh fruit. The store is open until at least 8 but 9 on most nights. Bring your own bags or be prepared to pay for them. read more

Very disappointed with this location. My wife and I both went in to purchase a sale item of butterball turkeys the other day and also a decent ham that was advertised. Not to any surprise the sale priced turkeys where sold out. So I started looking at the other versions not on sale. When I opened the freezer to get one I noticed the price and changed my mind. So decided to check out the spiral hams and half hams. I saw one I wanted and when I grabbed the spiral I noticed it was not really cold. So I went to the Half hams. I saw one and reached in and took it out. Directly under it where at least 2 grey hams that I could see. And the freezer did not even feel cold. I immediately went to a stock clerk and informed them and they acted as if it was of no concern. My wife and I left disgusted and I will NOT even consider ever going back for anything. Quality control should be of the highest function when selling any produce, meats, vegetables or anything. In my opinion the clerk should have at least stopped stocking and offered to go investigate it with me. But no! They just acted as if it was no problem. I only hope that all the folks who made purchases ahead of me don't get sick from poorly refrigerated meats. This location needs some serious fixing! read more

If I could give Aldi a 10 star rating, I would The place is clean, laid out perfectly, and exactly what you expect. The prices are the best you're going to get. Some of the stuff isn't the best, but it's always rotating, and you didn't invest that much, did you? You didn't! Staff is great! Tips: Bring quarters so you can rent a cart (this helps them save money, they don't need cart wranglers!) Bring your own bags (again, another cost saving measure) Be prepared to pack your own bags (all your cashier does is check out) I bring a cooler with some cold packs or leftover ice, as I come from about 40 miles away to shop. read more

Love this store. You get your quarter back when you return your shopping cart. Keeps them in front of store and out of the parking area. The prices are at least 1/3 less than Publix. All of them. Selection is good, produce is fresh and the generic brands are excellent. I enjoy bagging my own groceries, makes it easier when I get home, knowing where everything is. Plus, like using my own bags. The employees are always patient, kind and very helpful. They watch for busy lines and will open more. Very impressive place to grocery shop. read more

Terrible!! I bought asparagus. It was in a sealed package. Hard to see what you're buying. When I got it home it was slimy and smelly. I brought it back and the young lady said wait on line again. She was not very cordial. She acted annoyed! read more

I shop in this Aldi's in Middleburg, Florida on Blanding Rd, periodically. I never post a review but this time I definitely will. This ridiculous experience happened around 5:30p to 6p today.The first frustration was I couldn't get a cart to do my shopping as I did not have a quarter to unlock the carts outside. I scouted around for an empty cart there was nothing to be found anywhere. I walked in the store, went up to the front, they only had one person working one cashier, he was literally all alone, no one else around, all registers were closed down. He was checking a person out at the register as I approached him, he turned around and looked right at me with a "I could care less look" when I stated to him I need a cart. I was waiting for him to offer me a token or a quarter, anything. He chose to ignore me, never said a word, turned back around and started checking out another person that was in line, would not even acknowledge that I was standing there. I walked away from him agitated 100% now. I was in the front of the store, I saw three carts at the end of the cashier row right by the office. I reached out to take one out of frustration just so I could do my shopping quickly, as I had someone waiting in the car with the dog. Just as I reached for the cart I heard him say across the store down at the end of the first cashier row "that needs to stay there", and he turned back around and started checking out the person again ignoring me. Now I'm really frustrated and upset, I can't do my shopping so I go to the freezer section not far from the cashier section and I grabbed two things and get in his line. I am now standing in his line (the only cashier open) and a lady in front of me, the only one in line, looked right at me and then started to unload her cart. She has like a 100 things in her cart, it's totally full, and she keeps looking at me while rambling on with him in a conversation, when she saw beforehand that I only had two things before she started. She chose not to be nice. I would have never done that to anybody, I would have let them step in before me. I left the line upset now, put my stuff back and left the store. The guy at the cashier acted as though he did not want to even be there which would explained the attitude. It was unbelievable to see how rude and unprofessional the male cashier was and the lady in line. I am posting this as I never post reviews, because it started out bad and it ended bad, and there was no reason for it. I went to Publix and did my shopping immediately. There was hardly anybody in that Aldis store shopping, and it makes you wonder if this is why Publix and Winn-Dixie are constantly packed. read more

The Aldi brands are great. I really like that they offer organic items through their own sources. You don't have to pay for name brand to get great products! They don't accept credit cards but they do accept debit, cash and EBT. All of their own brand products I purchased were as good or better than name brand, especially their Greek Yogurt! read more

Love me some Aldi. With limited funds and two small boys and one larger one that eats like a teenager I am so glad Aldi came to town. There are certain things to look out for though. Watch your produce sometimes its bruised or bumped a little. I wont buy a box lasagna or any box frozen dinner items from there. I cant put my trust in it. The boneless pork chops are great. I love Aldi's!! We used them in Oklahoma and were sad to find out there wasn't one close when we moved here. When they opened in Middleburg my family was very excited! We went from spending $150 every week on groceries to $80 a month!! Everything is off brand but tastes as good, some better than the name brand. Produce, daily, and meat is super cheap. Aldi's lets me feed my daughter healthy fresh food without having to sacrifice in other areas. read more

ALDI has been a great company for a long time. Very happy to have one here now. This company has a research team that develops products comparable to higher priced national brands. They offer an equal alternative to the Weight Watchers line, call Fit n Active. They offer organic and gluten free products as well. They keep in touch with what is trending in the grocer world. Their beauty products (LaCura) have been featured in Woman's Day magazine. There are also great household and garden sundries available and holiday items as well. Great company! LIVE G FREE is the Aldi's house brand for GLUTEN FREE certified foods. My son & I are both diagnosed Celiacs and MUST eat gluten free. The name brand gluten free foods are just too expensive to buy weekly. The opening of Aldi's here in Middleburg has been a BUDGET and diet saver for the both of us! They continuously carry the gluten free items that the big box (blue) store OFTEN runs out of and it is at an affordable price. The bonus is that the rest of my shopping list is also 15-25% LESS then I would be spending at that same big box store. Happy family all around :) read more
