This Publix has a salad bar. A lot of Publix Deli's have removed this option and replaced it with a small olive bar. I love that I can try spoonfuls of several items. The salad bar is available from about 10 AM until 7 PM. The self service bar has a side where you can build a custom salad and the other side has premade deli salads like macaroni and Greek pasta as well as cole slaw. Publix occasionally swaps out the deli salads to add variety. This side also has fresh fruit like raspberries, blueberries and strawberries or blackberries. All the items are washed and ready to eat. They have small and large plastic clamshell boxes and your selections are weighed at checkout. The price per pound is 8.99 which adds up quickly so I pick a small salad bar amount and pair it with a hot deli selection, a container of soup or a sandwich. read more

I've lived all over the US and when I retired, I moved to Fort Mill, SC to find there are Publix locations there and all around the Charlotte area. Not the first time here but my first review of this spot. Here for a week's rest at a resort down the road. The is is one of the nicer stores I've visited in a good while. This is just off the tourist path so it isn't quite tourist prices here like the one a few miles down I-Drive. Store seems well stocked and quite clean too, as are most Publix stores. This one seems to shine a little more tho and had a nicer more sleek and modern look to it. Fortunately there were a few good BOGO's that helped us shop for our stay without breaking the bank. My neighborhood Publix. Come here all the time. Love it because they have a large selection of products, meats are almost always on sale, and although it's a little pricey compared to other stores it's not a huge difference. Quick run in and out, always pass the bakery Seen this mini lemon meringue pie and less then 24 hours and half gone. I'd say better then boxed Mrs Smiths. Which I hardly see in stores and it's taste has changed along with its price and large amounts of waste after 2 days. This pie I will admit the crust has a after taste I don't care for but I don't eat pie for its crust. It's a 80% meringue 16% filling 4% crust. Mm mm good. After 1 day only slight weeping, but it's maintained it's firmness and it taste "chefs kiss". The filling has a very nice yellow color, not too bright where you know they added too much food coloring. The lemon taste is not too strong and it all smells of how a lemon pie should. We're visiting from New Jersey and we have a large group (13 people). We wanted to order Publix sandwiches online as their reputation is very strong and unfortunately we were unable to do so in a timely manner through the app so we visited this location nearest to our hotel where both our deli associate "Arc-Hendy" and the deli manager "Brad" were very accommodating and extremely patient, polite and professional as we ordered 13 different customized sandwiches. We truly appreciate the service we experienced at this location and our deli associate "Arc-Hendy" for being so patient with us. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. This location is nice, not too busy for a Friday but it's in a plaza so parking sucks. They seem to have a good amount in stock, I only came here for instacart shopping though. The best bakery of any Supermarket. The fried chicken is better than KFC. Always courteous and friendly. Best produce in town.

Just a small uodate, for a store who's motto for baggers is "two hands on the cart and which way to your car", this store falls sadly behind again. There is only one bagger at this store who will ever ask if you'd like help to your car. I even mentioned it to a manager a couple months ago and nothing changed. I don't care if I don't have a lot of groceries, but if my cart is full, it's nice to have the help. Instead, I get the bagger pushing the cart towards me and walking away. Usually we'll stocked, produce is good quality as are the meats. I love the app, if I can't find something, I can go to the app to find out what aisle it's in. read more

Great Florida supermarket chain. It's been 20 years since I was in Florida last and I remember the Publix supermarkets back then and liked them than some of my chains in NY. Fast forward 20 years and back here again still liking this chain. This location is no exception. I hear that this was renovated more recently, but still a nice looking, neat, well stocked supermarket along with some friendly employees. Some of my NY chains need to take note here. I was staying at a local hotel and just came here for a few essentials and not a full shopping trip. I found everything that I was looking for, but would've loved to grab a cart here and fill my pantry/fridge. Everything was organized well and clean. It looked like a supermarket you'd see in a movie - all clean and shelves fully stocked. Still jealous that we don't get Publix in NY - but then again, it wouldn't look like this one before long. Large enough store with plenty of options that I saw, though I wasn't in every aisle at the same time. Parking lot is sizable. This location shares the land with several other businesses as well. A great Florida supermarket chain and this location is no exception. If I lived in the area, this would be my supermarket. But since I don't live in the area, whenever I stay in the area I'd stop by if I need something. read more

We needed to stock up our refrigerator at the timeshare nearby so we stopped in after our supper at the store we passed by earlier in the day. It has a much bigger selection of ethnic foods - more so than the local Publix I have in my home town. The store is clean and bright, wide aisles and a pharmacy located at one side of the store. I did notice however some major differences - not a lot of merchandise stockers to ask where products are located and a much smaller selection in the bakery and deli departments. There were almost no specialty breads on display at 7:15 pm - the clerk said they didn't have any. No grab n go sandwiches that I could find anywhere. Definitely set up differently than what I ever encountered before. Prices are on the high side, so I tend not to buy anything unless it's on sale. Cashier definitely was not friendly, and I noticed I was overcharged on four items that should have been on sale. Since I have a neck brace on, the bagger never asked if I needed help with the groceries to my car, and I had three extremely heavy bags. Customer service is lacking in this store. Maybe corporate should send in a mystery shopper to try to correct this. read more

I live in CA, but when we come to FL, I live for the Publix markets. I feel like in the week we are there we visit it daily. Clean, bright and really a great store all around. The selection is off the chain and they have so much to offer. Prices are pretty great, and you don't need a phone number to get the savings which is something I love. Went in for Valentine's day and they had an awesome spread of flowers, treats and great eats. Great deli departments, fresh juice selection and beer selection. Visiting Orlando, and this is my first visit to Publix Super Market...To start off, We arrived late at night, so went to a big name store near our hotel for water, etc. for the hotel...it was a terrible experience... not like the back in Texas.... So this morning, I found Publix on Yelp...it was AMAZING! I walked in, and it had the feel of a grocery store that had never been open before that moment: incredibly and sparkly clean, shelves stocked perfectly, nice friendly faces working. It was like I was there first customer, EVER! When I checked out, the cashier noticed a drink bottle was leaking and got me a new one. The bagger asked if I needed help to my car ( felt like Texas hospitality!), I said no, as I had only a couple bags. After I put the bags in my car, and started to take the buggy back inside the store, the same bagger came out to meet me in the parking area to retrieve the buggy from me! An incredibly satisfying experience that started off my first day on vacation great! Highly recommend! read more

Well, well, well .... the makeover is complete! The sad old Publix is now new and modern ... and yes, its now OPEN!! (It opened 4/14/18). Its nice! The bakery, deli and produce area are now on the right side of the store (modeled after many other Publix stores in the area.) These areas are nice and open too. The aisles feel a little narrow but its not a big store so they made great use of the space they have. It also looks like they have a lot more offerings (ready-to-go meals, more deli meats ... more products in general) than the older version. So yay!!! Way to go, Publix!!! read more

Today is the Grand Opening (April 14th) of this newly renovated Publix in The Williamsburg Downs Mall. This establishment has the newest supermarket technology, amazing staff and BOGO specials! I was shocked at how expensive groceries are in the USA. We are from Toronto and our bill was double what I would pay in Toronto with the exchange and we really didn't buy that much. Produce: The produce section is really nice with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. The aisles were like what you would see in most grocery stores. Gluten and Dairy Free Items? - They did not have any vegan protein powder that was stevia free. I was pretty disappointed by this as I needed it for my morning smoothies. - Out of all the drinks in the store, I found one brand that had no dairy, gluten or artificial sweeteners. It was called Koia and they have many flavours. It's quite delicious and it's loaded with 18 g of protein and lots of fiber. Employees: The employees were fantastic and go above and beyond to help guests. On our first visit I asked where I could find protein powder and the employee walked me to the aisle. On our second visit, l asked an employee to grab a bottle of Koia from the top shelf and he said there was only one flavour left. He volunteered to check their inventory and went and grabbed me tons of flavours from the stock room. The customer service is outstanding! All of the employees go above and beyond to help their customers. read more

I have been 2 times in the past couple of times and its consistent in all departments except bakery ( didnt visit deli or seafood). It was so bad the other day that I made a comment to cashier. Shouldve told manager. One lady in bakery spoke as she left the area and asked if we needed help but this was after being ignored by others . No music playing .
