We got an Italian sub and a chicken sandwich. They were made fresh and were fantastic.

Becareful bought a very expensive package of organic grape tomatoes. When I opened it I thought something is very wrong here so I weighed, it was 190grams light. I was told that they are sold by the package not weight and that's how it is. They are sold by weight it right on the package. Anyway, after getting the manager they gave me another package but I had to drive back. read more

Picked up 1 lg Dutch Apple pie & 1 am Dutch apple for a snack tonight with the Wifee & another two kind souls. cherry pie, pumpkin pie & pecan pie. For extra measure I bought a chocolate Bubka. For you Goyem who may not know what Babke is let me tell you try it & you'll thank me later. Publix's babke is very passable. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone read more

Always crowded, parking is always full especially for handicapped parking. This Publix is definitely not customer friendly in any area and inside the store as well. Hate shopping at this store. Often go to Spanish Springs store even though it's mostly inconvenient. read more

The store is marked to close at 9pm online. When I arrive it was 8:38. Even on my Waze gps navigation app the store is marked to close in approximately 24 minutes. Really disappointed that I could buy my essential items & groceries during the COVID-19 Crisis. Thanks to the manager and staff for really doing their part during these hard times. Just an update- place is still the slowest one in the history of this store's conception.

So after waiting over 10 min for a sub in line, I had the deli sub shop worker tell me to hold on when it came to my turn for a sub because she had a online order. This was after she serviced 2 other customers in front of me. This is not how Publix is at any other store. I guess They don't care about the customers at this location. 2.5 stars... compared to other publix centers this one is a little different. Everything is spread out (not in a good way) as the breads are split up from the bakery in the front, packaged breads are in an aisle, and hoagie rolls are near the premade foods in the back of the store. In addition, the cold beers are in the fridge area in the back, and the non cold beer is in the other side of the store. Two positives - bakery guy was extremely friendly... gave my kids free sample cookies (even though we forgot our cards) and the deli girl was really polite and nice.. changed gloves after handling the cheese before touching the meats. When I went to pay, I decided to use samsung pay, and the elder lady behind the counter didn't invite how to accept it... took her a good 5 minutes or so to figure out that it was the same as a credit card.. Overall, fresh food, so be irrating issues (they close at 9pm!), scattered items, but with a friendly staff, a lot can be over looked. read more

At 8:45 pm on Nov. 3 I went to this store for a bag of peanuts. I grabbed a bag where the price said 2 for $5.00. When I got to the express lane and they rang it up, the register said it was $3.29. I walked back to the self to show the cashier and she saw the price and asked me why the register said it was $3.29 and not the shelf price. I don't work there so I could not answer. That's when I decided to leave empty handed and go home. I guess they need to hire retirees who can think, rather than young people that can't. read more

Today was the second time in about a month that a cashier at this Publix told me I could not use my military ID card as a form of identification for age verification purposes! I'm a little insulted by this! Look up the law geniuses! Instead of just spurting out what you think is right! According to federal law, military ID, drivers license, state ID, and passports can all be used to verify age! read more

Stopped here for lunch on our way to visit an old friend in The Villages. Grabbed a chicken salad croissant, a small container of red potato salad and chocolate milk...hubby loves his milk. Delicious lunch for 2 for around $8. read more

There are many Publix Super Markets to pick from in the area, but my favorite is this one. It is relatively new, always very clean, and best of all has very nice people working there. For some reason, I just didn't get that "feel" at the Publix on 441 in The Villages. Oh, and the traffic getting there is not as bad as heading south on 441! :) read more

A brand new Publix fresh with a huge pharmacy and a larger than normal bakery.

This is the worst Publix ever. I live across the street and always go to another Publix. The deli is the worst department with poor service and no pre made food ever, including lunch and dinner time when other Publix's are stocked for the meal time rush. The meat department is second in the ranking as horrible. The staff is bothered if you want a different cut of meat or a package split. And if it looks like you are going to ask a question they run the other way. When you do ask a question they are rude. The fish and bakery are average nothing to write home about. The next horrible part is the line you will wait in to check out. They only open a few lanes so be prepared to wait. This review is not a one time stop that I made. This is horrible consistency through the years. They are always ready to disappoint. If you have a few more minutes of time drive to the next Publix in the village's just pick any other one. They are much better and you will thank me. read more

Today, I found Don Kim, the manager, to be inflexible and unaccommodating. I was at the Pharmacy before 9:00 AM and waited for it to open. I needed my prescription filled ASAP while I waited. Don told me it would be 40 minutes, which is longer I am usually wait at Publix. I expressed my disappointment and went on to do other shopping. I returned to the Pharmacy in 35 minutes, hoping to get my prescription a few minutes early. At the 41-minute point, the tech asked what I was waiting for. I told him, and he said "I am sorry" this has been filled for five minutes." (Don Kim had seen me waiting, recognized me, and yet I had to wait.) I have found Publix Pharmacies to be the next thing to the old-time neighborhood Pharmacy. This is my first negative experience with the Pharmacy at Mulberry Lane. To meet Publix's high standard, Don Kim needs to become more customer oriented. -William Kenneth Pyles read more
