This Publix has the worst employees! They are not even trained on their own policy. I've never gotten such attitude/bad service in my life as I got the other day from this one cashier woman. She even scanned one of my items twice! On purpose maybe? When I came back to complain I got my money back for the double-scanned item, it was only $2 but its the principle that counts... So since I was there I got a few more things, and just my luck I got another grumpy cashier with attitude! Ugh! One reason I shop at Publix stores is that they always have warm and friendly staff, maybe this one forgot to send their employees to corporate training? Worst meat department in America. 3 times I have tried the kabobs and each time they must be horse meat, You cook them medium rare and you can't chew them. Absolutely horrible. I want to like the store otherwise but don't like to have to drive to another store to buy steaks. read more

I got kicked of here the other day, I fell asleep in the soup. My narcolepsy kicked in and my grandson wouldn't get me my medication. My hoveround also moved way too slow. The only reason this place gets three stars is because of the glory hole in the men's bathroom. read more

Ordered their catering service for the first time and it was an awful experience. First, they can't do basic math. I ordered a platter of subs and requested that HALF of the platter be veggie sandwiches as HALF of the party was vegan. Upon opening the platter, only 20% of the subs were veggie, leaving 80% turkey sandwiches. This left many VEGAN people hungry and left us with more turkey sandwiches than we knew what to do with. So after spending over $200 of my own money on food, I was hungry!! Second, we thought we did not receive one of the items in the catering order (turns out my brother just did not notice it in the trunk when bringing all the food into the house). But when I called Publix and spoke to a Manager, I was told that they would make this item and deliver it to us...only to receive a phone call a few minutes later that they reviewed camera footage and they "KNOW" we have the item. As if we stole something or were hustling them out of a $25 item in a $200+ order. The appropriate thing would have been to say: "can you please check your car again because our chef is sure that item was prepared and included?" Lacking any tact, they called to tell me they reviewed security footage...so ridiculous. Who hires and promotes here? read more

I recently used the bakery to make a cake, and I could not have had a better experience. I was surprised that they only require 24 h notice for a custom cake. That is great customer service! I had a special symbol I wanted on the cake and the cake decorator came out and made sure to listen to all of my specifications. Remember to bring in a printed copy of the image you would like them to free hand. I ordered an 8" buttercream frosting chocolate cake, and it was so delicious. I received several compliments on the cake taste and decor. I also ordered a nibbler platter from the delights included meats and cheeses. It was also delicious and the leftovers I fed to my toddler for lunches. I am extremely pleased with the service I received in the bakery and deli. No long waits and the staff is so friendly. I'm moving my review to 4 stars because of the great service, but am still hoping the fruit selection was better. read more

I went here my whole life getting groceries and I haven't seen a single bad customer service. They always have the food I want that I came for. The food there are always more then a week away from the expire date. read more

This is the best Publix in Tampa that I have visited. The quality of fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, store-prepared foods, and baked goods are very good. The cleanliness of the store is what drove me to shop at this particular Publix. Staff is always helpful and polite when trying to find items in the store. The bakery has the freshest bread in the mornings. The BOGOS along with the good sales & promotions are nice however overall pricing at Publix is pretty high but a superior product usually comes with a higher price tag. read more

Beware ordering deli sandwiches online. More often than not you're having to wait past the pickup time, only to get home and realize they made you the wrong sandwich. The ticket is always correct, but it's as if the person making it decides what you should have on your sandwich. Wrong bread, mayo instead of mustard, no veggies, etc. Seems to be getting worse as time goes on. They need to revisit their online ordering process for sure. read more

This Publix is frequently busy. There are times when it isn't as crazy, but I'm not stupid enough to ruin my shopping times ;) The wine section has a pretty good selection. Last weekend, they were sampling a few wines. The cashiers and bagpeople are friendly and efficient. read more

So I decide to order my completely prepared Thanksgiving dinner from my local Publix on Linebaugh Ave in Tampa and the person who took my order forgot to tell me they were not open on Thanksgiving. It's now Thanksgiving morning and no food for both sets of parents coming over in 2 hours. Would have been nice when she said 9am she meant the day before or even used the phone number she asked for to call me when I didn't show up the day before. I completely understand giving your employees off on Thanksgiving but I'm sure Winn Dixie saw this opportunity when they decided to open. They have a new customer now and the roughly $7,000 I spend a year at Publix will now go to Winn Dixie. read more

Asked several employees over 15 minutes during lunch to refill the forks and medium cup lids. Nobody did anything so I wasted 15 minutes of my lunch because I couldn't get utensils for my food or a cover for my drink and had to leave without anything so I could get something somewhere else. I won't bother visiting here for lunch any longer. read more

This is my go to Publix and they always have great service here. The employees in the meat department always cut my cold cuts correctly all the time and at the registers everyone is so friendly. read more
