I love Publix. The people are great. Parking is easy. The variety is great. They have Boars Head at the deli. I could go on. But this Publix is particular is frustrating me more and more with the out of stocks on sale items. It's hard to plan shopping trips using the sales flyer when 6 out of 8 of the sale items I go in planning to buy are out of stock. I've tried going on different days and times yet I encounter the same problem. It's a pain to spend 10 minutes while my frozen food is melting to get rain checks for the out of stock items. I hate to get hung up on one complaint but it ruins a great shopping experience every time. read more

I love this Publix so much. This was my regular Publix when I was a child and it still is the one I choose to shop in. Most of the staff is very helpful and friendly. If I ask where an item is located, instead of just telling me the aisle, they walk you there. The produce is very fresh and excellent quality. The weekly sales and Buy one Get one Sales are an added plus. This store has a decent organic section that includes produce, dairy, meat, and dry goods. The floral section is also very nice with many different bouquet and floral display options to choose from. I also love that this location has two separate entrances which helps with parking. The self-check out area is very convenient when you only have a few items. read more

My favorite Publix! Always clean, inside and out. Employees are professional and kind (like they own the place). Very well organized layout. They have self checkout lanes here which are perfect for grab and go. It's conveniently located in a safe neighborhood right down the street from the temple terrace police department. plenty of parking and 3 different entrances to the parking lot.the store itself has two main entrances. If you want a Pub Sub go to any other location. If you call in, the order is wrong. If you go in personally to make sure these morons make a friggin' sandwich right, the order is still wrong. Just went in today and thought I finally got a sandwich made properly. Brought it home and took a bite only to find that the bread is FUCKING STALE. Fuck this place! This Publix has a self check out which is awesome when you just want to get in and get out. However, sometimes you do get stuck behind that person that has no idea what they're doing. I really wish there was a bigger selection of organic produce here. On a better note, everyone in the store is very friendly and helpful! read more

This is my go to Publix. I don't live in the area, but it's right next to school so it's convenient to get my shopping done here after class. What I dislike the most is how difficult it can be to get there and get out of there... Fowler can be a nightmare to cross through. Overall the store is clean, organized, and the employees are always friendly and helpful. It generally seems like the Deli is somewhat overwhelmed, particularly the sub shop, but I've never had anything take longer than ten minutes. Recently I've been searching for healthier options and this Publix has everything I've needed. And of course BOGO's are always a plus! read more

Yup, if you've ever been to a publix you'll know your way around here. But this one is deserving if higher stars because it is clean, organized, nice workers, and most importantly convenient. It's right off a major road, and right next to a university. It has a slightly small selection than some other publix that I have been too, but it's still always got what I need. Well most of the time. Haha. But it's prices are great, especially with all there buy 1 get 1. :). That'll keep me coming back, especially when it's on chips and stuff that college kids live on. read more

This was a pretty nice store, stopped here while charter bus on school trip was stranded In their parking lot to escort students to restroom and get some food while we waited on the broken down bus. The manager was very understanding and even allowed some kids to charge their phones while we waited. Overall they showed great understanding while we waited with 50 kids for a new bus to arrive. read more

"A Publix is a Publix is a Publix..." Having only ever been to shiny brand new Publixs in my life, I wouldn't have argued with this statement. The new stores are all basically the same size and shape, I can find the milk and the beer with my eyes closed and my feet tied together. Just get me through the door. But recently this concept was changed for me, as I had to use an older Publix this summer. It was a grocery store culture shock for me. BUT that is a separate Yelp. What it did do was make me appreciate "my" Publix so much more. (It is funny how when you are talking about grocery stores and sports teams you suddenly become a part owner in the franchise!) The place is always clean, even during the rush times. No matter how stupid or obvious my inquiries are, the staff will lead me to the sauce or juice. I once had a very patient stocker stand up and walk me to the end of the aisle, maybe 30 feet away. I guess she could have just pointed, but this way I knew exactly where it was. The sushi dude always makes me a fresh spicy tuna roll if there is none in the freezer. They have Irn Bru in aisle 3. And Danesh J. is absolutely correct. David is awesome. So yes, Yay! The staff is always very nice and helpful. They always deliver great customer service. Every time I go to the store it's always well stocked with food and I never have any issues finding exactly what I need. The store is always kept very clean and tidy never any trash or food on the floors. Every time I shop here I always have to visit the Deli for a tasty meal, in particular their subs I absolutely love Publix subs. Even though the food and products can be a little pricey, I feel that it's worth it since the store has such a great staff that makes the whole grocery shopping experience a good one. read more

I love this Publix. Clean, nice people, and Publix brand items are amazing. Cashiers will provide coupons at check-out. While other Publix stores are probably similar, this particular layout and convenience off of Fowler is great. Only issues are going when it is rush hour, as it can be difficult to get back onto Fowler when leaving the store. read more

While this Publix may not be the biggest or newest in Tampa, their customer service is exceptional. I frequent this store due to its close proximity to USF, but the deli and sushi section are my favorite areas to shop from because I know that everything is fresh. Their chicken tenders are the best, and I have never been served any that weren't fresh. I also like knowing that I can buy something from the produce department that will not expire the next day. Overall, this store always has what I need. The employees are always very friendly and offer helpful suggestions. During my most recent visit, I had a great experience because of a thoughtful pharmacy tech. He was very knowledgable and went above and beyond to help me. read more

Publix is a grocery store with pride. They take pride in what they do. The store is always clean and neat. Items are meticulously straightened on the shelves and displays. The range of product is strong, and there's never a shortage of employees to who can help you find what you're looking for. Check out does tend to be a long process, but that can be expected when a majority of customers have a cartful of items. It would be great if there was a way to separate "couponers" from the regular lines, as they tend to take much longer than necessary and cause lengthy problems when a coupon doesn't work or is for the wrong item. Otherwise, Publix does a great job at resolving those problems quickly, even if it means having an associate run for the correct item while the customer waits at the register. read more

Publix's weekly ads have great deals. I'm a college student so their BOGO sales save me tons. Also, they're really good about taking coupons. At Wal-Mart and other stores like that its always a hassle and normally backs up the checkout line, but at Publix they even take my expired ones if they aren't too old. Along with great deals, Publix's bakery has the best chocolate chip cookies ever. Their produce department is always fresh as well. I love buying my fruit pre-cut and packaged. The best time to go shopping here is in the morning. Afternoons on weekdays and weekends get packed and the parking lot is a challenge to get in and out of. read more

The staff and managers are always so helpful and courteous. Everyone in each department will help you directly in selecting the best option of what you are looking for.The store is well kept and well stocked everytime I go. There are days and times where this store will get pretty busy but knowing when to go and when not to will avoid having to deal with the crowd. Even when busy, the staff are still smiling and joking with you and work effeciently to keep the check out lines moving along. The store has great BOGO deals as well. Usually I shop at other big chain stores for my groceries but I decided to go to publix earlier today. My initial observations were a very clean store and helpful staff who greeted me and asked if I needed help finding anything. It wasn't too busy at around 3pm, so I was able to do my shopping quickly and efficiently. The florist department was very bright and colorful, and it attracted my attention enough to buy a small bouquet of flowers to bring home. Although it was a very pleasant shopping experience in the clean and well-stocked store, the deli was the only slight complaint I had. The workers were very nice and made my sandwich perfectly, but it took a while to have my order taken. Only two workers were behind the counter when there was a line of 7 people waiting to place an order. I feel like an extra employee should be behind the deli counter when there is a line of people waiting to order, but the food was good and the customer service I experiences was above average compared to many places. I would definitely recommend coming to this Publix! read more

Publix is a little more pricey than other grocery stores. It is however, the closest grocery to my house and if you shop smart and take advantage of the BOGO offers prices can be comparative to the big chains such as Target. Publix by far has the superior deli and the produce section has a decent selection compared to that of other grocery stores. This Publix specifically is always busy because it is close to the university so be prepared to wait in line. However, it is clean and the employees are all very friendly and helpful. Sometimes a bit too helpful and chatty if you just want to take your own groceries to the car or rather not listen to a cashier go on about how great Buzzfeed is. This location is easy to enter traffic-wise. The store is clean, and there are more than enough employees there to help people. I've never had to wait in a long line as there are plenty of cashiers. I enjoy the wide variety of brands to choose from as well as the many sales prominently displayed all over the store. The sales are for items that are actually popular most of the time. If I could recommend any location to shop for groceries, It would be this location. All of the sales associates are so friendly and genuinely willing to help. The last time I had gone, I asked the cashier what aisle caramel would be located in. Not only did the cashier point me to the correct aisle, but he also proceeded to walk that way with me. I had to kindly decline his help so that I wouldn't hold up the line, but I was sincerely appreciative. Overall, I would say that this Publix is a great store to shop for your groceries at. Although it may get crowded sometimes being right down the street from the University of South Florida, it makes up for this in many ways. first off, the store is open to 11 which is later than most Publix supermarkets will stay open for. Second they have a great selection of food to choose from, whether it is freshly prepared sushi or a hot fresh batch of chicken tenders. Finally the employees here are very friendly and help you out when needed, I have never had a bad experience with one of the employees there. Overall i would say that this is a great grocery store to get everything that you need at, and it is a pleasant trip every time. read more
