Our beautiful wedding cake they made

I usually only shop at Publix and since we moved over here 3 years ago, it is the only one that I absolutely love. The staff is so friendly. They always remember us in the deli and ask how we are doing. You always see managers near the front and more times then not, they jump in and help. The produce is always full and looks inviting. If any associate even thinks you are looking for something, they stop to help. I really enjoy spending a little more money here then battling super target or walmart. The cashiers are very friendly and usually start a conversation with you. There is one or two that do not say much but it is not a big deal. They always offer to take your stuff to the car as well. I went to get a money order one time and no one knew how to change the paper. I had to wait about 10 minutes so they gave me a $10 gift card for having to wait. Its things that like, that I enjoy coming back here over and over again. They also make sub sandwich's and they are great. My favorite is the chicken tender sub with some buffalo sauce. One thing I noticed is that it is cheaper and more portions if you get the regular sub as opposed to a wrap. There is another Publix down the road that I could easily go to, but I don't like it quite as much. I will always shop at this Publix. Great staff, always full shelves and never too crowded. A Plus in my book. They made our wedding cake and it came out absolutely gorgeous. Our guests didn't even believe we had it made at Publix. It really looked like a super expensive wedding cake. And it tasted fantastic!

I love Publix. I really do. It's not only one of the best grocery chains in the country, but for me it's been a lifelong obsession. Amazing subs. Amazing deli. Great people. All of the above usually applies to my neighborhood Publix, but there is one thing that has disturbed me for the past couple years: they keep expired items on the shelves. This has happened to me about 7 or 8 times the past few years, ranging from years old expired soda, expired refrigerated Mac and cheese, expired frozen pizza and most recently, expired tarter sauce. So I'm writing this to warn you to please check the expiration dates on food that you buy here! I have repeatedly found expired items and complained/let the manager know, but obviously nothing is being done to fix their quality control.

I ended up having a little cheat day and enjoyed a delicious soft serve with fresh strawberries -- it was so good! The staff members were very friendly, especially the cashier who helped me at the register. Her smile felt so genuine, and it honestly made me want to come back again. I even decided to pick up some peanut butter while I was there. The store was very clean and well organized, which made shopping comfortable and enjoyable. I shop at other grocery stores too, but this place is definitely becoming one of my favorites. You can also bring your own reusable bags, which is a nice bonus. The parking lot can be a little difficult on weekends, but overall I highly recommend this place!

I live about two…read morehours away, and whenever I'm in Orlando I usually get sucked into the whole Disney Springs vibe and never make it to all the other amazing local businesses. This trip, though, there was absolutely no Disney involved -- and we finally stopped here on our way home Sunday morning. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better. For someone who truly despises grocery shopping, this was actually fun. I will absolutely make a special trip to Orlando just to come back here -- and next time, I'm bringing a bigger cooler.

One looked it up and told me that walmart has them and I should go to Walmart. So, word to the wise, before shopping at this Public, go to the website and search for what you are buying to make sure that they are still stocking it. I am afraid that I will have to switch to the Public at the grove on Apopka Vineland from now on. They do still sell caraway seeds. Oh...Amazon sells caraway seeds but you need to plan in advance to order them there.

Being from New Jersey, it is hard to accept that a supermarket can offer some of the better subs in the area, but in the case of Publix, it is a simple fact. Again, Publix has always put an emphasis on their customer service and they certainly make you feel welcome. It seems every Publix employee is walk by, they make it a point to greet me. I have to say that it does go a long way. You really cannot go wrong with Publix in terms of heading to a Publix for your supermarket needs. This Publix is exactly what you'd expect from this beloved Florida chain. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, if a little dingy and worn down on the outside. The aisles are spacious, the shelves are well-stocked, and it's simple to find both everyday essentials and specialty items. Their produce and bakery sections are great here, with colorful and appealing fresh fruits and veggies and a large bakery that has a decent selection of breads, cakes, cookies, and pies. There's a nice prepared foods section too, which is great if you want a quick and healthier meal in your hotel room without having to cook. This location also sells Disney souvenirs. I picked up some adorable Minnie Mouse pencils that I just couldn't resist for less than $5.
