Puccino's is currently my favorite study spot! The ladies that work here don't always make conversation with you, but they recommend great stuff and always get your food and drinks out to you quickly, hot and fresh. This place definitely has character!! Every wall has something interesting or funny to look at/read. The decor will leave you entertained and never board. This isn't your modern, basic coffeeshop...it's a nice change up to a lot of places you'll visit nowadays.

Pulled my warm donut twist out of the bag to find they tossed it in the bag on top of the napkins without wrapping it. Should have just gone to McD's - coffee would be just as good and there wouldn't be paper adhered to my food.

What a wonderful experience! My hubby and I visited Puccinos and truly enjoyed it. In all transparency, the inside has a lot going on, but the service was phenomenal and we enjoyed our drinks. First, let me give kudos to Jerry, who served us. He was welcoming, made suggestions and extended genuine gratitude. He did a great job sharing about the menu since it was our first visit, offered us a sample of their signature drink and sharing details about their refill policy. Perfect 10 on the service. I enjoyed my frozen cappuccino- very creamy, flavorful and a good portion size. My hubby tried the house coffee with lavender flavoring. Definitely something new, but he really enjoyed it. I look forward to returning and enjoyed our first visit.

They keep it so cold in here year round. If you go inside for longer longer than five minutes, bring a sweater, jacket, coat, etc. The staff stated their is nothing they can do for it is controlled by the wizard of oz. Maybe the one star will get someone's attention. Probably not based on their poor average...

No free lunch,... or Internet either. :(

Interesting place. The interior of Puccino's is immaculate. I mean, really a work of art with the furnishings. Yet the service that goes along with a good product is so-so. A little slow at times when it comes to ordering and delivering such items as coffee, sandwich wraps, and pastries. The kitchen closes either at 3 or 4 PM, and you'll have to walk to the window to pick up your food as opposed to getting it served to you at the table. Nonetheless, the food and coffee is pretty good, and there is a gambling room that is within the center of the venue. While there are several Puccino's venues all over the New Orleans area, this one seems to be among the newest.

Puccini's is not cool. That's not a criticism, as "cool" here is used in its pre-West Side Story former sense: understated, quiet, calm, muted, unemotional. Puccini's is none of these, with its bright lights and colors, seemingly endless array of menus and promotions in front, behind, hanging above, and atop the counter, a wide range of products arrayed there as well as on shelves and rolling carts all around the place, and even a collection of motivational words running along the molding overhead. Did that last sentence leave you a bit overwhelmed? If so, I've succeeded in conveying the feeling of sitting down with a cup of coffee at Puccino's. My experience is limited to the cup of brewed coffee, which was surprisingly weak but still satisfying, and a scone that moist and fresh with a biscuit-like texture. There is a complete brunch menu with sandwiches and egg-based dishes. Back to those motivational words: The list overhead included "accomplished, astute, confident, creative, resourceful, strong, loving," and "discrete". Discrete? All the rest I could imagine on posters at the office, but "discrete"? Did they mean "discreet"? The latter probably applies to some of the rendezvous at coffee shops, but how did the word--in either spelling--end up on that list? I will carry that question to the grave, I fear.

This sandwich was almost $8 dollars and I'm just thinking of what I could get with that.... Praline bacon and egg Biscuit from District. Two breakfast meals from burger-king, full breakfast with home fries from Cafe Latte da. Chick fill A breakfast, eggnormus burrito, 7 value menu burritos from Taco Bell.... Yeah I won't be getting breakfast from here again. Nor coffee since my latte was cold.

Such an interesting, artful interior that's oh so pleasant to be in. Good music and friendly staff, you can tell that they have a good system amongst staff. Interior was immaculate, they even have a button that you can press if you need a table cleaned for you. Thia is my first visit, and I definitely want to come back to try some of their food items. I love how their menu includes the tax, but my beverage was somehow even cheaper than that! I was served quickly after I ordered, amd the staff was very knowledgeable about the different drinks. I got a stout iced puccino, very smooth and creamy!

I have officially come here for coffee, breakfast, lunch and post dinner coffee (in that order). So sit down and get ready for a serious well rounded review. - Coffee :They offer a full menu of coffee drinks so if you have a favorite they got it. I enjoy the iced Puccino, iced coffee, and when I'm in the mood for dessert coffee, the frozen Puccino. -Breakfast: I love the waffle sandwich, its perfect for a hearty Sunday breakfast. -Lunch:I love the apple turkey and brie sandwich and get it almost every time. -They do not have a wait staff. You order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. It's a little unclear if its expected to bus your own table and I've seen people do both. -They have outdoor seating -This Puccino's has a drive thru, but a few times I have tried to use it, they've had issues and it takes longer than if I would just walk inside. If you have been to any of the other locations, this one is no different except it is larger. Yes, they still have clusters of crap everywhere, as if someone bought one of everything from World Market and threw it on the counter. The music is a no go, its super loud italian pop music. Since its been open I have never seen it empty so the people of River Ridge and Harahan are taking to it well. I grew up in the area so I love seeing new businesses popping up. During the week nights a lot of high school kids were there studying, but it still wasn't a problem finding a booth.

My sister moved to Louisiana two years ago and has always said it's been hard to find truly great food, so we were excited to give this place a try--and it exceeded every expectation. The woman who took our order was one of the sweetest people we've met. She was so welcoming, patient, and made us feel right at home, which made the whole experience even better. The tostones were perfection--served hot and crispy on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside. The breakfast arepa was outstanding and paired perfectly with the fresh cilantro dipping sauce. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you could tell everything was made with care. The restaurant itself was spotless, bright, and inviting, creating such a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a meal. Great food, amazing service, and a clean environment are the perfect combination. I picked: a large fluffy maple roll. The outside reminded me of a croissant in the best way with some mild maple sweetness and the inside was moist, pillowy, and rich. I heated it up in the oven next day which made it even better. A square coconut roll... crisp and flaky on the outside with the most delightful sweet coconut cream inside and flaked almonds on top. This was my favorite. Will get multiple next time. And a pair of taro rolls. These I was most excited for as I love taro, and they weren't bad at all, but were probably my least favorite of the 3, purely because they had an eggy aftertaste. They weren't overly sweet with a nice smooth taro filling. I also tried a taro milk tea with soy milk. These normally include lavender too, but I asked for mine without. The flavor was off the charts good. Strangely it was nothing like the usual taro drinks I've tried and I couldn't place what I was tasting, but it was rich and creamy and so satisfying. Only thing that bummed me out was that I ordered boba and there wasn't any. :(

The menus are on the wall and they have a good number of options for food, including bagels and lox, which I will get next time. Not many places offer that in Metry. I ended up ordering the special latte which was a chocolate and vanilla blend. It was tasty, rich, I like when placed offer chocolate and not mocha. There is a different between those flavors and chocolate always wins, yet not many places offer so again, glad they have this too. I also ordered the scrambled egg croissant with cheddar and ham. I did enjoy the croissant, it was flaky and butter, delicious. I also enjoyed the ham, had a sweetness to it. I did not love the cheddar or lack there was. It was very little cheese and honestly, with that delicate ham, it needed a better cheese like brie maybe or gruyere? Something to match that perfect buttery croissant. I did notice the menu online is not exactly the same as the one on the wall. I was interested in an Italian Bagel, but maybe that is offered other times of the year or maybe it was just not popular, but it sounded interesting. I should have asked if they had the ingredients to make it and probably will next time if I don't get my lox bagel. The lady that took my order was professional and personable with the regulars. I did like that the worker space is open to the dinners and you can see everything coming in and going out - it was a well designed space. The decor was quaint. I said I paid in cash and didn't even touch the register. This was immediately after I had told her to put the change in the tip jar. Can't believe her memory was that bad- or if she was that frazzled by the line that has accumulated from her struggling with said register. Whichever the case, it left a bad taste in my mouth. There was no apology or even acknowledgement of her error besides an "Oh yeah!" Coffee was fresh but not strong. Was surprised by the lack of milk and sugar options available for patrons available on the counter. Totally expected some syrups and various types of milk available. Sandwich, as you can see in the picture, was barely filled. 1 layer of the toppings and I had multiple bites of just bread. Nothing about the sandwich was special nor unique. Bacon tasted like regular bacon and the bread was store-bought, not fresh bakery variety as others have mentioned in their reviews.
